The Vakbeor is Gallofree's black sheep, a bastardized KDY design which never took off on the galactic market. Marketed as an anti-pirate freighter it nevertheless found popularity among criminal cartels who value its rugged utility. It is a glorified supply ship but excels in this role. Gallofree cargo frigates are most often found in the Territories, Corporate Sector and Wild Space where they remain an affordable option compared to other modes of bulk transport.
HISTORY
Originally named the Kasova Lisar it was confiscated from a pirate group raiding the southern Rimma Trade route during a Judge lead mission. Instead of being delivered to the OPA for repurpose Deputy Maokai Bantam was able to talk his leadership into “selling” it to him in exchange for his LX Astro-class freighter and what savings he had.
Mako soon found out that his newly acquired ship was in rough shape to say the least. Now in possession of a ship that is barely space worthy, under powered, and very few talons to his name he has needed to get “creative” to keep it flying through the void.

During long missions, bring self sufficient is a must. Operated by crewman Lij Du Winto he has a wide variety of edible plans and herbs which induce a myriad of conditions. He is also known for brewing a form of algae ale that only the most dire hard alcoholics can stomach. This area also acts as a recycler for bodily waste generated by the crew.

As engine room that has been rebuild and reconfigured more times than can be counted, it looks clean but is a mishmash of components from multiple makers. Everything is kept running and in fine working order by Lieutenant Csi of the OPA Navy. Officially "on assignment" from her normal duties she leads a rage tag crew of the finest Squibs with an iron hand.
