  • Description: The Kyprin Renegades were part of the Alliance Common Soldier Corps, a collection of volunteer civilians who put their time and money into military units for the defense of their worlds and others. Sponsored by the Corellian Confederation and under the command of Senator Dracken Pryce, the fleet was put together to be a symbol of Corellia's willingness to defend its neighbors and the ideals of the Galactic Alliance in the face of continued attacks by the Brotherhood of the Maw. Consisting of mostly mothballed vessels from the Corellian Defense Force, the fleet also held a large number of freighters and support vessels to help those in need. In its employ were Corellian veterans, volunteers, Halcyon Commandos, and a plethora of war droids. Technically, the fleet held enough power to patrol a small sector, but with outdated designs they were at a severe disadvantage compared to modernized fleets of major galactic powers. The flagship and namesake of the fleet, the Kyprin Renegade, was a testament to that. At over a decade old, the Kyprin Renegade was one of the original Colony I class Supercarriers produced by the Free Worlds Coalition. Over time it saw several wars and dozens of battles. It had been moved from the home fleet and had been relegated to defending distant systems in the Confederation, content to scaring off pirates and smugglers. Now with a fresh coat of paint and a new crew, she again heads to war.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Corellian Confederation
  • Ports of Call:
    • Corellia
    • Naval Station Govia
    • Corellian Trade Spine
    • Corellian Run
  • Goals: To defend the Alliance and aid in space combat. To aid Corellia in its military endevours.
  • Reputation: One of the first approved Alliance Common Soldier Corps units, the Kyprin Renegades displayed the extreme of what the new program could offer the Alliance. Led by ex-High Admiral of the Alliance and a General in the Corellian Defense Force, much of the positive press for the Kyprin Renegades comes from the fleet's association with Dracken Pryce. Some decry the Kyprin Renegades as an unecessary show of force from the Corellian Confederation, flaunting its ability to essentially give away battlecruisers and capital ships but others see it as Corellia attempting to atone for the laundry list of crimes still pilling up on their ex-Senator and now Alliance fugitive Kaito Kiyoshi.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Kyprin Renegades were the Corellian Confederation's Common Soldier Corps. After continued attacks by the Brotherhood of the Maw on underdefended worlds like Jakku, Dracken Pryce proposed a law allowing for entities to privately fund their own volunteer military units that could be called upon by the Alliance and act under the umbrella of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force. When the Maw attacked Coruscant and the Jedi left their previously held stations as soldiers, officers, and politicians, Pryce pushed for this law to aid in taking steps towards reminding the Jedi that they were all allies. A seasoned officer of several wars and a well-known public figure in the Corellian military, Pryce was the perfect choice to lead one of the first Common Soldier Corps after the law was voted on by the Senate.

Comprised of vessels that were scheduled for scrapping or were mothballed, the Kyprin Renegades proudly flew both the colors of the GADF and the Corellian Defense Force. Under the command of Pryce and other Corellian officers, the fleet would go on to take part in several smaller conflicts across the Second Great Hyperspace War's theatres.
