STANDARD FEATURES
  • Recycling centers for food, waste, materials and anything else brought aboard this station reduce its dependence on outside supply lines make it ideal for keeping refugees, as outside of personnel manning this station requires little upkeep.
  • Small scale molecular furnaces with fabrication centers allow for the station and its personnel to perform maintenance without needing access to larger ship yards or imported parts. This allows for the station to be able to perform without outside assistance for long periods of time.
  • Station is built to house up to 1.8 Trillion souls aboard with all necessary accommodations from sleeping quarters, mess decks, sanitary stations and even sanitary sections for single housing. They have a variety of units from family housing units, single person quarters, to dual person housing. These quarters are also varied in their additions from family quarters having a kitchenette, fridge, and small eating/living area, to single person quarters being a small spartan living spaces with a bunk, several lockers for storage, and a refresher. In between is a variety of mess decks, recreation centers, schools, hospitals and med bays, and various working bays.
  • Station also has the ability to perform a variety of jobs, acting as a hub for the fleet as it can harvest materials from rogue asteriods/comets, build and repair ships in deep space, and also produce a variety of weapons, items and materials. This allows for the station to perform as the home base in deep space for the fleet.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Zeus Isotope-5A Reactor Systems located across each of the station allows for the entire station to not only have plenty of power to run at optimum capacity, but back up reactors in case one of the systems needs to be brought down for repairs or maintenance. And offer an extremely long lifetime of fuel capacity for energy production.
  • Multiple Svalinn Class Shield Generators located across the station offer multiple and redundant shielding across the entirety of the station. This allows for the shields to be able to withstand even larger scale bombardments for long periods of time, making it an extremely difficult target to crack.
  • Armor plating is a composite style of layered plating, consisting of layers between FM-001, FM-002, Phrik-A plating and Duraplast-E. This layering alongside the plating across the station to be over 100 meters thick in areas, with the thinnest portion being to emergency hangar doors at 70 meters thick, makes this station extremely hard to crack or board without significant firepower.
  • Internal comms suite includes a JBC2P system and a separate Wind Talker Class Comm Array, allowing secure communications to the outside world and even the ability to direct and/or coordinate with outside assets.
  • Internal Security force consisting of B-7 Battle Droids, TCD-1s, alongside the ability to facilitate and field organic security personnel. Droid complement is large enough to police and secure the population gathered on this station, ensuring that even with such a large population, that safety and security are held in the highest standard.

STRENGTHS
  • Massive Home Station: This station is absolutely massive, which allows for it to house a nigh unthinkable mass of people, material, and support a vast fleet of ships in deep space. This station is able to support, sustain and otherwise continue to do so relatively easily. It also carries the facilities to pull in outside resources, such as mining or from external ships, along with building entirely new ships and maintaining them as well. This station has the capability to do all of this with relatively little outside support.
  • Bastion of Defense: This station has some of the strongest shields and hull armor that has ever been built. It will take something massive to crack her defenses if going the outside route, and trying to get someone on the inside is even harder because this station was built cut off from the outside world. To break her, is going to be a monumental task for any force.

WEAKNESSES
  • No Offensive Armaments: This station is entirely unarmed, relying on its escort and outside ships to defend itself from fleet based attacks. So really if someone manages to get that far, all the station can really do is just sit there and take the punishment.
  • Sitting Duck: This station also can't move thanks to its sheer size and scope. This makes it ridiculously easy to hit, and also doesn't allow it to run away from any bad situation it may find itself in.

DESCRIPTION
They say necessity is the mother of invention. The driving force of innovation. When the SLDF fled their home system of Surric, they faced some very big necessities. They needed a place to call home. Someplace where they could put people that wasn't in cramped ships that were frankly overcrowded and over taxed. The Keep became that place. Construction began rather small, first by tearing down some of the refugee vessels they had brought along with them. But as the station grew, so did its scope of operations and capabilities. Manufacturing facilities began producing base necessities and intergalactic debris that was bound to be captured by the galaxy's gravity well would be brought in and mined. And as more resources were harvested, the station would go from being a small outpost on the outside edge of the galaxy to a massive station. People went from survival to thriving among themselves, building hydroponics farms, markets, schools and beginning to settle into the station. The only problem was that with more of the population moving to the station it needs to be supplied with more materials to sustain them. This problem is being slowly tackled with roving fleets that are salvaging anything from rogue comets/asteroids, broken and abandoned ships, and otherwise anything else they can get their hands on. The product of this scavenging, was a massive station now with the capability to build massive ships, support an obscenely large population. It has complete medical facilities, shipyards, dry docks, massive housing areas, mess decks and recreation areas. To put it simply, this place was meant to go be home built away from home.
