  • Overview: The eleventh Sith Congregation was conducted on the early morning of Primeday, the 26th of Sadow at the Sith Ascendant Circle Hall on the throneworld of Bastion. The meeting was quickly derailed by the sudden intrusion of Sith individuals protesting against the power of the Emperor and the Dark Council, which sparked a short, but intense, verbal debate on the floors of the Hall. The debate spiraled into an open declaration of Kaggath, which the Emperor used as a pretext to begin an Empire-wide purge of ‘apostates’ that had ties to or were directly affiliated with those Sith who had rejected the Emperor’s authority.

      • Failure to do so will result in harsh judicial punishment.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Written following the Declaration of Apostasy in 861, the latest Imperial Bull brought down from the Imperial Palace formally outlawed all forms of apostasy within the Sith Empire and made it punishable by death. Immediately after, the Emperor began an empire-wide purge of suspected apostates in both Sith and Imperial organizations, leading to the deaths of dozens of individuals that possessed connections to those who initiated the Declaration of Apostasy. Those who managed to escape the Emperor's net were branded as traitors to the Empire and were to be captured and executed as quickly as possible, with all of their ranks, authority, and clearance codes being rendered obsolete.
ORDIS contributed greatly to the propagation of the Imperial Anathema, with its Empire-wide communication network facilitating easy distribution of the information as well as the identities of those involved in what was coming to be known as the Apostate Rebellion. Many named condemned were Sith of varying levels of mastery, but there were some among the Imperial Military who were notably declared as betrayers of the Empire, such as the former Lord General Irveric Tavlar Irveric Tavlar and his subordinates who were complicit in his treason.
