SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The Ascendant Circle Hall
  • Classification: Assembly Hall
  • Location: Ravelin, Bastion
  • Affiliation: The Sith Empire
  • Accessibility: Only members of the Sith Order are permitted within the Hall, no one else is allowed.
  • Description: The Ascendant Circle Hall was a large cylindrical structure capped by a massive domed edifice, measuring two-hundred-and-fifty-meters in diameter and four-hundred-and-forty-five-meters in height. The Hall was connected to the rest of Ravelin's skyline by railways, large bridge causeways, and underground tunnels. The interior of the Hall was exceptionally spacious, filled with elaborate statues, mosaics, and relief carvings of various Sith triumphs throughout the recorded ages. At the northern end was a massive ornate apse covered with gold mosaics and enclosing a giant silver statue of the Sith Emperor Darth Carnifex with his arms outstretched towards the center of the chamber. At the chamber's center was a towering tiered podium which held the seat of the Sith Emperor, with successive thrones further down serving as seats for the members of the Dark Council and Sith Triumvirate as well. Encircling the chamber were tiered seats that could seat the entirety of the Sith Order and more, the total occupancy of around thirty-thousand individuals.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Sovereign Seat: A massive podium rising several dozen meters in the air at the center of the Hall, it is a seat reserved for the Emperor of the Sith to address his brothers and sisters of the Dark Side. Descending down are lesser seats, relegated for the members of the Dark Council and Sith Triumvirate of the Order. The Emperor's seat could rotate to face any section of the surrounding seats, controlled by a manipulator built into the throne's armrest. Above the headrest was the symbol of the Sith Empire built out of aurodium.
  • Grand Convocation Chamber: Rising to a coffered ceiling two-hundred-and-ninety-meters high, and spanning across a diameter of two-hundred-and-fifty-meters, the main chamber of the Ascendant Hall was reserved for the meeting of the Sith Order in its entirety. Seats were arranged around the outer edge of the circular chamber, each one designed to include a holographic projector that could display a Sith's image from anywhere in the galaxy if they were unable to attend in person. There was no means of segregation in regards to Sith ranks, with apprentices sitting with knights, knights sitting with masters, and masters sitting with apprentices. Masters and apprentice pairs would typically sit together, or cliques of like-minded Sith might congregate towards one another. A nullifier field encompassing the chamber prevented energy weapons from being activated or fired.
  • Statue of the Dark Lord: Situated on the northern side of the Grand Convocation Chamber was an immense statue of the reigning Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Carnifex. It was sculpted entirely in his likeness but retained the healthy and even youthful appearance of his untarnished form before his injuries on Mandalore. The statue was made out of reinforced ferrocrete plated with seamless aurodium.
SECURITY
  • Rating: Maximum
    • The only non-Sith individuals allowed within the Ascendant Hall are the prestigious and honored Crownguard Protectors, who are tasked with protecting the Emperor's, as well as the Imperial Family's, wellbeing against any and all assailants.
    • The Ascendant Hall is well-protected with bulkheads, anti-slicing technology, jamming devices that only block everything other than specific encrypted frequencies, and a multitude of other anti-surveillance technology to deter anyone other than the Sith.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Ascendant Circle Hall was constructed following the Sith's Reclamation of Bastion and the formation of the Sith Ascendancy, a successor government to the defunct One Sith. Designed by the Sith Lord Tirdarius to serve as the seat of the Ascendancy's government, the Hall represented the unity in spirit and devotion that the Ascendancy possessed in reclaiming their lost prestige from the Jedi and Mandalorians who tarnished it. When the Brotherhood of the Sith fused with the Sith Ascendancy to form the Tenth Sith Empire, the newly crowned Dark Lord of the Sith Kaine Zambrano maintained the Hall as both a symbol of the Empire's founding and the unity he desired to see continue to strengthen among the Sith.
Over the years, the Hall had undergone several renovations to reflect the changing zeitgeist of the Sith. A statue of the Dark Lord was constructed within the towering dome, and there were many efforts to incorporate design elements from the Senate Rotunda of the Galactic Republic, but with greater authoritarian flair than the democratic counterpart. A massive podium reserved for the Dark Lord and his most trusted advisors was constructed at the center of the meeting hall, a powerful symbol of the hierarchy of the Sith Empire; in which there was only one Dark Lord and all Sith were subservient to his will.
It remains to this day a symbol of Sith unity and pride.
