DESCRIPTION
Originally designed for use in the Clone Wars by the Galactic Republic, the Arquitens made a name for itself as a reliable addition to the Republic fleet. Because of this, it retained use by the Galactic Empire following the fall of the Republic. Similarly, even after the fall of the Empire, the ship still saw use among both Imperial remnants as well as private security forces or even occasionally a group of pirates. Over the years the admittedly archaic design has seen a number of its systems upgraded to fit the advancing technology but has more or less stayed the same and continues to serve as a symbol of the continuation of the lineage of both the old Galactic Republic and her successor, the Galactic Empire and the strength that came from both factions.
