Having cleared the hall for the most part, Tovald and Heinrich found themselves with a moment of reprieve. The flames died down, and Heinrich took a deep breath.

"That... took a lot out of me. Guess I still have a lot to learn."

He wasn't entirely sure what his limits were with this newfound power, but he knew that there would only be so much he could do with it for now. He would have to be careful about how often he used it if he wanted to maintain his momentum. His gaze slowly turned down the hall as a mysterious voice spoke, meeting that of the stranger that asked for their help. Something about the individual made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. The clothing looked similar to what he had seen in the visions Ty had shared with him, yet somehow felt alien... otherworldly perhaps. Whatever was going on, it had Heinrich feeling on edge. Nevertheless, he took the offer of help, and climbed down the rope.

The hallway below was an even grislier sight. Corpses and entrails were scattered across the ground, and the air was putrid with rot. Heinrich did his best to keep it from his mind. Thankfully, he had been in the presence of death enough to be able to stomach the stench. His first move was toward the soldier that had been screaming in fear. Heinrich grabbed him by the shoulder, slamming him into the wall.

"Are you not a soldier? Where's your courage? We aren't dead yet, and I'll be damned if I let you run off and get yourself killed. If we're all going to die, then we may as well make it count."

His impromptu pep talk was cut short by the screams of Frank from behind the door. Heinrich rushed over, trying his best to find a way through, but it was no use. Perhaps his new abilities could open the door, but he would need time...

They are winning, and the spiders were either picked off or retreated. For the Ubese, the nightmare was coming to an end, despite his terror, he did his part well. But a small ball of unease was building in the back of his mind, Frank was unusually quiet and it's unnerving. He didn't need the force to tell him that he had a bad feeling about this.

Tovald had stabbed the last hatchling, he can finally breathe in relief, but it was short-lived as he recognised Frank's voice and it wasn't its usual confident tone, it was terrified. So he had jumped down to where they fell a few minutes before, he didn't care or tuned out the other's shouting. Hye was not going to listen, all the training he did when he first started was now compartmentalised.

Frank was in trouble. That's all he thought about. He got to the door; he saw it wasn't going to budge. He may have a vacillating lack of impulse control and a mindset that is contradictory to the line of work he does but he wants everyone to get out safely.

Thinking fast, he grabbed a sturdy piece of metal and rammed it into the door as hard as he can, and using it as a lever attempted to pry the door open. The surviving soldiers helped to get it open just enough for anyone that survived to slip out into safety.

He hoped Frank was alive. He won't even scold him about the damned spiders.

With the door opening slowly but surely a few more gunshots on the other side of the door were heard as the sound of pitter pattering ran from the door. there agaisnt the doorfram was frank missing a leg and multiple armor breaches by the looks of things he was in pretty bad shape. Taking something from his chest he passed tossed it to Heinrich. a set of dogtags that stated Frank Sterling Commander in the eternal empire. "Heinrich make sure the empress gets them okay?....tovald....Frank passes a datapad. "get this to Adolfina....shes the wolfgirl heinrich and I saved from the slavers way back when....cough wheezing....When i wasnt in such bad shape....shes with the rimworld trade leuge Kee....keep her safe for me." Pulling his iconic d16 closer to himself he would nod.

"You were right Heinrich looks like I would get a chance to make up for my actions. the nests are just ahead you can use the emergency left code 177189. to leave from there....I'll hold here and keep them off your back...and Tovald...Thanks for being my freind for as short a time as it was..."

with the sounds of more spiders coming down the hallway frank was in and the nest being not mabie one to two more blocks away Frank chambered a round in his d16 before one of the burner crewmen knelt down and passed frank a fresh mag for his gun. and left him to his fate. they would wait nearbye for heinrich and tovald butt they wouldnt wait long.

Heinrich helped the others push against the door, hoping that their combined efforts could get Frank out. After several synced motions, the door finally began to budge. With each movement, it slowly gave way, finally allowing them to reunite with Frank. It didn't take much to see that Frank had seen better days. His leg was missing, and he had taken more than a few hits across his body. Heinrich knelt next to him, checking his wounds as the man spoke.

"What are you talking about, Frank?"

He wasn't one to leave his comrades behind. He was forced to once, back on the cursed planet of Wgah'nagl. Heinrich didn't wish to undergo that same feeling again. He pushed the tags back toward the man, trying to tie a makeshift tourniquet around what remained of Frank's leg.

"You must have really lost it, Frank. There's no way we're leaving you behind."

The skittering in the distance signaled the approach of more of the spiders, causing Heinrich to pick up the pace. He continued to try to plug up what holes he could, despite his lack of medical knowledge.

"We're gonna get you back to Ty, and we're gonna get out of here... all of us."

Heinrich was always a stubborn one, and as such, he was bent on trying to get Frank out of there. Whatever happened, however, there wasn't much time...

<"You dropped us in a hive full of Spiders, but know this Frank, don't think for a second that I would ever abandon comrades over something that petty."> Tovald quipped, with sincerity, as he too grabbed and pulled Frank out from the impending doom of certain death.

His fingers barely escaped entrapment as the door slammed shut. Trapped fingers hurt, he could lock his fingertips backwards at a horizontal line after his fingers caught in a heavy door 10 years ago. An accident pure and simple.

Once they had Frank out and safe, his ears picked up the tell-tale noises of spiders, and he choked down his terror. Being afraid will do them no favours, not a single one. He stood with the others ready to fight off another round of 8 legged hellions.

As soon as the shadows rounded the corner, he let loose with disruptor fire, hitting as many spiders as he could. Cortisol running the show now, it made him fight harder than he ever did before. He never noticed a medium spider crawl up his leg and dig its fangs in through the leather until the bite hurt.

<"Kriffing Hell!"> He roared, shaking it off and stomping it. He now hated them even more. Still, he kept firing and doing his bit. They needed to stay alive and get out. <"Get Frank out, quickly!">

Whatever made the spider a eldrich creature seemed to be doing something to Tovald. Tovald was somehow able to hear the voices of the spiders talking to each other. the name Sypher keeps crossing their words constantly mostly out of fear. Frank would seem to be getting weak from bloodloss as someone or something seems to be walking up to them but frank would see him however in his state would seem unable to even lift his gun. to help the anyone. the individual seemed human albeit with old cybernetics slotted into his body in ways that shouldn't be possible. walking up to Frank the man reached out his human hand fazing threw frank causing franks to pass healing and closing open wounds. as he retracted his hand he looked to Torvald. "be mindful of the voices the will deceive you." Torvald would be able to hear him clearly however Heinrich would just hear static.

turning to heinrich the persons face hidden behind a steel faceplate with crude eyeholes leaking black fluid. "Tell my son im proud of his actions today." unaware that only Tovald can understand him.

down the hall the flame troopers began moving past heinrich frank and Tovald. "detination charges planted. we should leave now unless you like the idea of being cooked alive."

The pain from being bitten subsided, he waved away a concerned comrade. It was fine, he didn't seem to be feeling any effects from venom, well the more orthodox Spider Venom that is, his ears rang and hissed a bit as if he had an airhorn blown into them. That too, passed and his hearing returned to normal, but it wasn't, it was different, but the Ubese didn't know exactly why.

Then here came the voices, he's hearing voices, oh this is it, he's going mad and right in the middle of a mission too. His lower leg throbbed painfully, and the fight has tipped in their favour. Still, he needed to find out where they are coming from. No, they don't sound Human or Ubese, Tovald began to realise with growing horror that these words were coming from the spiders. He can understand Spider-Language, he was really unlucky today.

Wait for a second, they weren't angry with Spider noises anymore, they were scared, just like he was. Something else is going on here, and he didn't like it one bit. Then another voice interjected giving a warning about the voices and a message about a son.

Tovald wasn't scared, but instead very confused. He needed to voice his concerns, with a degree of subtlety and calmness.

<"I'm hearing voices."> He states, clearly lacking tact. He knew damned well how crazy he sounded. <"I can understand that guy too I'm going mad.">

He was slow to think of much else.

They managed to get Frank through the door, allowing it to slam shut behind them. As they tried to move their comrade further away from the danger, more spiders rounded the corner into the hall. Heinrich extended one hand, unleashing emerald lightning at the first few that came near him. The last one got close... uncomfortably so, prompting the crusader to kick it away. The creature went flying through the air, catching a stray shot from Torvald's disruptor and falling dead to the floor.

As they continued their fight, something seemed to shift in the air, though Heinrich couldn't quite discern what. Torvald spoke of hearing voices, prompting Heinrich to shoot a confused look in the Ubese's direction. As he did, Heinrich noticed the man approaching, prompting Heinrich to reach for his lightsaber. He stayed his hand, however, for he didn't sense hostility from the man. As the stranger reached forth and healed Frank, Heinrich felt ever the more puzzled as to who he was. Perhaps they had more friends here after all.

"What do you hear, Tovald?"

He couldn't understand the stranger's words, but perhaps their Ubese companion would be able to shed some light on the situation. In the meantime, Heinrich looked to the men that set the charges.

"We'll be right behind you. Get the others and make your way out."

As the troopers moved to the ropes frank had fallen unconsious from his injuries. one went up first as the other secured frank on the rope while Tovald and Heinrich could go up the next rope. "Im going to hosent with you people I have no idea what others your talking about, mabie the whole panic of the situation is getting to you but our forces are the only ones here..." as everyone was climing up the ropes the youngest memeber of the flame trooper team was climbing the ladder when one of the creatures grabbed him and began to pull. this member was the same one who was panicing earlier.

"Guys it got me help!!" he cried out for someone but as the words left him a gurgling could be heard before a quick ripping sound. withing a flash he was pulled out of his hardsuit threw the leghole killing him instantly.
"we gotta move theres nothing we can do for him now." as they made their way twords the exit. the flame troopers traggin the wounded frank with them a shot rang out Hitting frank dead center on the head venting its contents backwards into Tovald. the shooter seemed to be a blond male with a tattered leather jacket and glowing blew eyes.

"Max You fething traitor, he was-"
"he was dead weight in his current state and had a bounty of 2000 credits on his head. Im just cashing it in and freeing you guys of the problem."
Turning his back on the crew dispite how two of them now had guns trained on him he bagan to walk away.

the older one of the flame troopers set his rifle back on his sling and began dragging the now lifeless body of frank.

"fething bounty hunters...fine cash in your credits im not leaving him behind in a place like this."

So it was true... they were all that was left. Heinrich cursed under his breath as they made their way out. The enemy was hot on their tails, claiming another victim as they made the climb. Heinrich instinctively reached out to help, but it was too late. Another whispered curse escaped his lips as he continued toward their exit, to potential salvation. As they pushed onward, one of their companions turned toward them... and promptly shot Frank in the head, causing Heinrich to grab the falling body of Frank. His gaze slowly turned back toward the shooter, anger beginning to boil within him as he stepped forward. He took a deep breath, calming his rage as he began to speak.

"You're lucky we need to get out of here. You pull something like that again though, and your life will be forfeit."

Heinrich motioned for one of the others to help carry Frank as he turned his attention to Tovald.

"We make for your ship. Mine can't hold many passengers, and we can't afford to separate our forces."

The creatures could be heard below, scurrying about like a pack of rodents in the walls. As one began to climb up through the hole, Heinrich quickly cut it down, his lightsaber arcing through the air as it sliced through carapace and bone.

"We don't have much time, they'll be on us again soon."

Having climbed to safety and without stepping on the fingers of anyone below him, Tovald was glad to get away from the Spiders. He'll need to speak to medical to figure out what is going on here. Everything is suddenly derailed as a shot rang out...

Tovald stood stock still, gore now dripping off him in gooey strands, Frank was dead, he was shot while he was down. The Ubese shakily picked the skull fragments off his helmet and threw them as far away as possible. His horror turned to a rare flash of anger, so bright it hurt between his eyes. This is going to be a headache that will linger. As for Frank, he was not so far gone that he could not be saved. Now, Frank was gone, a life taken that had a chance no matter how slim it may have been.

<"We are on the same side, comrades don't kill - don't do this to one of their own. You had no right."> The usual warmth was gone from his voice, there was only coldness and restrained rage. He gripped the disruptor tightly, considering retaliation against Frank's killer, but Heinrich lifted the haze and shook him free.

<"Yes, the Venomoth has space and we can get 99% of the survivors in but they may have to go into the cargo and Hangar spaces."> He replied grimly as Frank's body was taken away. "Be careful with his body, be respectful.">

Ty would open a portal to Heinrich and tovald. stepping out he would be in his Omni lockdown form. Protosaber in hand and sniper rifle in the other.
"my void soldiers have moved some of the civilians to our ship once we Evac with the civilains we will regroup and come up with a plan to secure the artifact. wheres.." looking down he would see the now dead frank looking over to who shot him and back to the swarm of angrey spiders rushing their position.

Reaching down he grabbed the back of franks head bringing it to his own. "Rest ahead of me old freind, Ill see you soon." standing up he would look to heinrich. "You want to see what happens when I go all out then watch..."
hoisting up his sniper rifle he would make multiple portals between the spiders before mag dumping its anti tank amunition into a potal as it rippd threw their lines dissapearing into more portals and slamming into a tunnle wall callapsing it.

from the direction of the forward operating base a flood of von lead by a huge eldrich beast nearly touching the ceiling of the hanger giving off a roar of defiance twords the group the same roar as the one heard on the distress call.

at this point Ty's power was bleeding threw the omni lockdown armor begining to melt it showing the bones of the real ty underneath as he looks to Max his eyes no longer giving off a calm blue but a pericing crimson red hue. "you kill yourself or leave i dont care which." the mercanary in question born in the nether would turn his neatherborn form and faze threw the ship into space as the darkness Ty gave off scared him as he felt like the nether itself.

Ty returned his gaze to the forces running threw them. "Heinrich....Tovald you still got some fight in you im gonna need your help with this group as im not sure i can handle them all." dropping the siper rifle on the deck he would extend his hand in front of him gripping the air his fingers seeming to tear the fabric of realspace itself before ripping it open as energy seeped into the walls and floor. "Units of the the old world, Rise to the ocasion join me for one last fight I demand it!" from the walls and abandonded hallways file out the corpses of troops wearign the same armor and gear as heinrich and tovald saw the ghosts of this station have. old archaic armor and weapons. the corpses began opening up on the von helping tovald and Heinrich with the enemy numbers. before Ty ignited his saber and charged forward into the fray. "death to all who opose me!" he shouted as he began cleaving threw a section of von to get to the big creature in the back. His movements were fast steeped in skill and practice of over 300 years of combat experince. this would be Ty at his fullest potential. the omni armor falling off in chunks unable to put up with the power Ty gave off as he pushed his body to its breaking point redlining his own heartcrystal as he did so.

There was little time for them to breath, let alone sort out the mess of what had happened to Frank. Heinrich nodded to Tovald as he spoke of the ship.

"Whatever we can do, as long as we can get out of here in one piece."

As soon as he spoke, Ty appeared to them once again, causing Heinrich to feel a sense of hope. For a moment, he had worried that his friend had also been lost to the onslaught of the enemy. Those worries were quickly dashed aside, however, as Heinrich remembered just who Ty was. He was a warrior much older than any he had met before, and had seen his fair share of combat many times over. As he began to unleash his attacks on the approaching spiders, Heinrich once again ignited his blade.

"Indeed we do. Lets end this."

His free hand extended forth, and emerald plasma began to arc forth from it, taking out several of the spiders as Heinrich moved to his comrade's side. As he pressed forth, Heinrich saw the images of the dead manifested in front of them, answering Ty's call as they gathered within the room. It seemed that, despite all of this time, Ty was still full of surprises.

Heinrich called out to Tovald, slashing at a spider as it came in from the right, taking its head as it lunged at Heinrich.

"Tovald, cover our flanks! If we get surrounded, we'll be in serious trouble!"

Another swing of his lightsaber followed... and another... and another, each blow taking down another approaching beast. This would be a difficult fight, but Heinrich believed that as long as they coordinated, they would perhaps stand a chance.

The lumbering monster bellowed a frightfull roar as it charged forth against Ty slamming him with its oversized hand slamming him against deckplating as he fell from the wall with a Ty sized dent in it. a red glow could be seen coming off his body. as he hit the ground. coming to his feet the moster tried to strink him again but as its arm swung down, in a split second Ty moved with such speed and grace he lopped off the hand of the creature with but a flick of his wrist.

Realing back the monster ended up charging ty again pinning him to a wall before throwing him at a nearbye vehical the scarecrows were using as fire support. the impact from such a hit caused the vehical to explode launching ty about 100meters from Hinrich. as ty lay there unmoving the creature terned its attention to Tovald and Heinrich. letting out another roar As Ty struggled to get up he was finding it harder and harder to move. so he opened a portal straight to hinrich sending him his lightsaber. "Heinrich End it hurry.." Ty weezed out before slumping back down into the deck plating.

Big swords swung low as an eldritch horror leapt at them, the brain matter all but forgotten. This is more of a run for your lives than a rescue mission. Tovald wanted to get away and get the smell of brain out of his clothing but for now, he had a job to do. He gently nudged/shoved evacuees towards the portal leading to the Venomoth. All the while watching for escapees from the other end. Plenty of space and hopefully not too cluttered with cargo.

Tovald for his part helped keep as many of the monsters at bay, at least he hoped, they seem to be spawning everywhere at the moment. Which left the Ubese to be cornered by one of those huge spiders, Tovald was reciting an old prayer in his head as the Spider lumbered forward.

Then it stopped when a terrified Tovald held out his hand in a stay back gesture. That was unexpected, the bite wound now felt cold and numb as he advanced pushing the Eldritch Spider back. It was surreal and he needed to get his head around it. He seemed to control fear personified itself.

<"Heinrich, on your left, ambush!"> He shouts in warning as he joins back into the fray.

The beasts were cut down one by one, yet there was no end. The trio and what little support they had continued to hold them back, but the situation was looking ever-grim. Heinrich's attention shot over to the vehicle as it exploded, sending shrapnel in every direction. Heinrich ducked out of the way of a piece of what was once the vehicle, only to see Ty on the floor.

"TY!!!"

He had little time to respond at first, as Tovald called out just in time to warn Heinrich of an unforeseen threat. Heinrich whipped around just as one of the creatures lunged at him, and in the wake of its attack, Heinrich slashed with his blade. The creature roared in pain, yet it came at him again. In a moment of desperation, Heinrich jumped onto the beast's back, stabbing downward with his blade until the creature ceased to move.

Not long after he felled the abomination, Ty called out to him as he opened a portal nearby. Heinrich reached through the empyrean, catching the saber in his hand as he ignited its blade. He looked to his injured friend, closing his eyes for a moment as he prayed for strength from Ashla.

His body shot forward, drawing upon the Force to enhance his speed as he ran straight for the beast. As he closed the gap, Heinrich dropped to his knees, sliding underneath the creature's swinging legs as he lashed out with both blades, cutting open its abdomen. Jumping back to his feet, Heinrich turned to face the injured creature. Each blade began to slash to and fro, cutting any piece of the creature that he could reach. After many such swings, the beast finally went down.

Heinrich rushed over to Ty's side, taking a knee next to him as he tried to help the man.

"Stay with us, Ty!"

With the best finally destroyed a portal opened in its wake to the dark recesses beyond the veil. those others of Aboleth's kin started getting cut down by the various spiders as Tovald warned heinrich of a ambush seemingly helping everyone because of Tovalds new found power. Ty coughed. as he looked up to Heinrich. "Unfortunately, Child this is my time. For what it's worth I thank you for the time we were friends. I can't keep coming back anymore My power is all but used up. Take care of that blade Heinrich I cough wheeze cough cough I entrust it to you its powered with my soul stone."

Ty leaned back laying on the ground he could feel himself slipping the bones in his legs slowly dissolving and blowing in the artificial wind of the station. "Heinrich listen to me, you're a great man, a brave man Don't let the darkness taint your soul use it in conjunction with the light. you showed me this...I've lived far too long in the darkness you were my light in all this hatred. you showed me the way back. Thank you but now its my turn. Save these people and get them off this fething station." reaching into his pocket he fishes out a very old pendent inside was a picture of Ty as a human alongside his late wife.

"I was never a soldier or a hero Heinrich I Died a thief holding the line against Abeloth long ago please Heinrich keep these people safe....that portal leads to Aboleth. My final request to the both of you for Frank and I take that portal and take the final battle to Aboleth free us and my people so we can finally rest." Forcing The palm of Heinrichs hand open. he puts the pendent in Heinrichs hand. "Until we meet again in the next life I want you to know you were the greatest friend I've ever had. My son will assist you in your mission and if you ever see the man who killed frank....put him in the ground for him Tovald." the bones in Ty's arms and hand faded to dust casing him to close his eyes and slip backwards. as his back hit the deck plating his burst to dust leaving behind his old sniper rifle a data pad with how to use his gift he gave Heinrich and his old Berret along with his old uniform.

the spirits and undead in the hanger bowed their heads as they faded back to the nether. Nix fell to his knees and wept being all alone in this world now.
A risen mynock the last of its kind and the pet of Ty landed on the chest of his old uniform and screetched at anyone who tried to seperate it from him.

Heinrich held one hand on Ty's chest, offering him a smile as a tear streamed down his face. The man had a troubled past, that much was true, but Heinrich always held out that his heart was in the right place. In the end, he was proven right.

"You're a good man, Ty, and a better friend."

He took the blade in his hand, clenching it tightly within his fist as he watched the life begin to fade from his friend. There was so much left to do, he thought to himself. So much that the pair had yet to accomplish. Yet, it appeared that would not come to pass.

"I'll see it done, I promise. We will put an end to all of it."

As the light faded from Ty's eyes, Heinrich stood, taking a few steps over to Nix as the mynock found its way to its master's body.

"We'll get through this, Nix. It's time to end it."

Turning back to Tovald, Heinrich quickly motioned for him to join their side.

"Together... for Ty... for Frank... we'll see this through, one way or another."

Tovald knew death, he has faced it twice. His wife's death from a potent fever, he was helpless as she faded and passed away in his arms, and his brush with Skin Cancer, he thought he was going to die. But they caught it before it spread and became untreatable, he was grateful for his survival.

He still has the large unsightly scar to prove it. But still, it catches him off guard. The sheer violence of the act and the carnage it spirals into. Now Ty was also gone. He has to make sure he was in the right headspace for the task Ty has set for him, avenge Frank.

But now there is a pressing matter of getting everyone out of here. Without any more casualties and unwanted brain matter all over the place. It is fortuitous that the Spiders were milling around and not attacking. Sensing the unspoken thought that swirled in the Ubese's mind of "Stay back".

Their priority is to get survivors out of here and to medical treatments and once that is done, they can go and find the one who killed Frank. It wouldn't be hard, they knew enough to start the hunt. No, this is not revenge, this will be justice.

Death was a pollutant that also needs to be taken care of.
