Devotion & Honor: He is incredibly loyal to Lord Grayson and the Crusade, willing to do whatever is necessary to see their holy mission carried out.
Follow My Lead: Heinrich’s dedication has made him a strong leader, allowing him to inspire confidence and boost morale in those that serve under him.
Lingering Sorrow: The pain that he suffered at Sith hands has left him scarred, both physically and mentally.
First to Jump: His tendency to act in the moment can be an advantage, but can also often put him into situations that are difficult to get out of.
APPEARANCE:
Heinrich is a confident man, and it shows in the way he carries himself. His commanding demeanor is befitting of a true Essonian knight. He has short blonde hair and dark eyes, and a small scar on his chin. He can often be seen wearing traditional Essonian military garb, sometimes accompanied by his Ashlan armor. His eyes show a clear determination, driven by years of pain and suffering at the hands of the Sith.
PERSONALITY:
Many Essonian knights carry a strong sense of purpose with them, and Heinrich is no different. He is strong-willed, confident, and possibly a little too stubborn. His devotion to the Ashla is as strong as his loyalty to his homeworld. Despite these traits, there is a hint of lingering sadness that hides deep within him. Many years spent as a prisoner to the Sith have left him with a considerable amount of trauma, causing him to become more stoic in recent years.
BIOGRAPHY:
To be a knight of Ession is to answer a call to higher purpose. From a young age, Heinrich knew that his would be his path in life, spending many years learning the skills needed to serve his homeworld. His Force sensitivity was discovered at a young age, allowing him the time to develop these skills over the course of many years. As Heinrich got older, he discovered the Ashlan faith. He naturally gravitated toward the religion, seeing it as the purest form of Light Side practice. This newfound belief caused him to dive even deeper into his training, honing his skills further to better serve Ashla.
As the years went on, the Sith threat to the galaxy grew. Heinrich found himself spending many years fighting them on multiple fronts. When Ession fell, Heinrich was one of the last to remain standing in defiance of the Sith threat. He fought valiantly, but in the end was captured. The following years were the hardest that Heinrich had ever experienced. The Sith sought information about the Jedi that had escaped their onslaught, and continuously tortured Heinrich for information. He refused to give up his comrades, which only caused the Sith to torture him further. For years he suffered at their hands as they sought to break him, but he never faltered. Only by his faith in Ashla did he manage to endure. Eventually, the faith paid off. While in transit on a prison ship, Heinrich was liberated by a fleet of resistance fighters, allowing him to finally be free of Sith chains.
After recovering from his years of imprisonment, Heinrich finally set out to find others that survived the Sith attack, eventually meeting Cedric Grayson on Ruusan. He was impressed by the man’s ability to lead, and instantly pledged his sword to the man. Rising through the ranks quickly, he found himself in Cedric’s inner circle. Now he fights alongside his brethren in the Crusade, hoping for a day where the galaxy is finally rid of the darkness forever.
