OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Holocron Name: The Holocron of Seeping Darkness
  • Alignment: Dark Side
  • Origin: An ancient Sith crafted this holocron on the world of Nathema sometime during the War against Zakuul, more than likely towards the latter days of the conflict.
  • Affiliation: Alisteri Haxim, The Dark Wonosa Cult
  • Gatekeeper: A dark robed figure, seeming always surrounded by some sort of dark smoke or fog that exudes from their hood. Said fog hides all of the gatekeeper's face and also seems to persistently cover the hands of the figure. As such, the species is unidentifiable, but it seems to be a Near-Human of some variety. In terms of personality, the gatekeeper is a mysterious yet insidious character. They seem to almost always speak in vague terms yet at the same time make note of the user's inner thoughts and fears in an almost threatening manner. Its intentions are unknown, but it does not seem to cause harm unless it deems the user unworthy of learning the secrets of the Dark Side.
  • Description: The main purpose of the holocron is to teach future generations of Sith in the ways of Sith Alchemy with some minor notes and lessons in the realm of Sith Sorcery.
DEFENSES
  • Accessibility: Simple touch of a Force Sensitive being.
  • Security: Can cause vicious hallucinations to those deemed unworthy, usually causing hysteria. Has also been known to cause significant amounts of thick, dark fog that obscures vision.

CONTENT INFORMATION
The Holocron of Seeping Darkness contains the ancient, dark secrets of Sith Magic and Alchemy. It contains little in the way of historical information, seeming to only have scattered references to the War against Zakuul as well as general facts about the old Sith Empire. Its main content is a fairly in depth storage of information about Sith Alchemy and some elements of Sith Sorcery. Although the information in the holocron is rather vast, it only holds fairly standard and traditional rituals and methods of the Sith. Nothing too special when compared to other, more secret and coveted holocrons.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Holocron of Seeping Darkness seems to have been created sometime during the War against Zakuul by a currently unknown Sith Lord. The purpose of the holocron was to act as a learning device for future generations of Sith gifted with the ability to use Sith Alchemy and Sorcery. More than likely, the creator was paranoid about the collaboration against the Empire of Zakuul between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic and sought to ensure that the ways of the Sith wouldn't become diluted and corrupted. The holocron was hidden away in a vault on Nathema, more than likely constructed closer to the end of the war.

For thousands of years the vault sat undisturbed, awaiting for a new owner worthy of its knowledge to claim it. Finally, it was rediscovered in ancient archives by Alisteri Haxim and he set off to recover it for both him and his cult. He found it in the darkness and successfully passed the trials in the vault to obtain it. Although the gatekeeper was reluctant to allow him to take possession of the holocron, seeing him as too enslaved to his own emotions, it relented. Now it rests in his hands, both to teach him and whoever else it deems worthy of its dark secrets...

Sweet, this is good to go save for one thing:

Per Codex Rules (link and screenshot for reference), template fields may not be removed. As is, this sub is currently missing the 'Canon' field.
