OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Guzijeij
  • Designation: Semi-Sentient
  • Homeworld:
    Panatha - Planet of Creation
  • Togoria - Original Homeworld

[*]Language:
  • Broken Basic, Togorian, and Sith

[*]Average Lifespan: 20 GSY
[*]Estimated Population: Rare
[*]Description: The Guzijeij do resemble the original Togorians from which they were fashioned through alchemy and magic, albeit vastly more bestial and horrifically twisted. They are great lumbering tanks of bulging muscle and sinew who were bred for one purpose; war. They were created by Darth Carnifex for that reason and that reason alone, and they know, and are incapable of knowing, any other life than that of beasts born to kill and die.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I Atmosphere
  • Average height of adults: 4.6 - 5.1 meters
  • Average length of adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Stone Gray
  • Hair color: Various shades of black, gray, and brown
  • Distinctions: Unlike the Togorians from which they were made, the Guzijeij are hulking brutes barely capable of intelligence let alone cognitive thought. Their bodies have been engorged by the dark science and magic that wrought them, their feline faces contorted into something more bestial and savage. Male Guzijeij have developed misshapen antlers that sprout from their foreheads and are used to battle other males for dominance over females, with the losers frequently losing one or both of their antlers in the violent confrontation. Females do not possess antlers which is the only way to tell the two sexes apart besides the obvious difference in sexual organs.
  • Races: N/A
  • Strengths:
Powerful: The Guzijeij were made for one thing in mind, war. Thus their bodies had been expanded with alchemy and filled with bulging muscle alongside razor-sharp claws and teeth to tear through armor and shred enemy soldiers by the dozen. They can shred through most non-restrictive material.
  • Dense Bone Tissue: A leftover from the original Togorians, the Guzijeij inherited their dense bone tissue that allows them to endure greater physical trauma than other beings. Coupled with their increased size and musculature they can take even more of a wallop than their predecessors.

[*]Weaknesses:
  • Unintelligent: The Guzijeij were made for war and not much anything else. While they can speak, they are unable to form complete sentences and usually just resort to saying a single word that describes what is on their devolved minds. Because of this they cannot understand complex commands or intricate battle tactics and are often used as battering rams and shock troopers to break up enemy fortifications and lines with sheer force in lieu of other Sith-Imperial soldiers.
  • Drastically Short Lifespans: The original Togorians could live up to eighty years old and beyond, but these mutations have only typically lived up to twenty years at most. This is due to their gestation periods being far faster than any other mammal, they only take a month to reach full maturity, but as the years drag on their bodies start to break down at a higher rate as well. They don't typically live up to their maximum age anyways and are often slain on the battlefield.
  • Weakness to the Light Side: As with all alchemically born creatures, the Guzijeij possess an innate weakness to the opposite side of the spectrum from whence they were born; the Light Side of the Force. While they can be rallied against the Light Side in the presence of a powerful Dark Sider, they will ultimately flee if confronted by a greater quantity of Light Siders, especially when exposed to Force Light.
  • Soft Underbelly: While most of the Guzijeij is all tough muscle and sinew, there is but one glaring and obvious weakness to this race of tanks. Each member possesses an extremely soft and vulnerable underbelly that can be pierced with any bladed weapon or blaster bolt or slug, although to somewhat mitigate this weakness the Gujijeij will often have crude Graug-fashioned armor strapped over their midsections.
  • Weak Legs: The Guzijeij is all upper body strength, and they are slow and cumbersome creatures. Once they get running they can't easily maneuver or slow down their momentum. One good bolas or tripwire can send these beasts careening towards the ground as they charge forward haphazardly.
  • Low Finger Dexterity: These beasts were not meant to wield weapons, their claws are strong enough to rip through most standard armor. However; they cannot operate controls or perform any complex tasks with their fingers.

CULTURE
  • Diet: Guzijeij are strictly carnivorous unlike their predecessors who were omnivorous.
  • Communication: Through the magic that gave them life the Guzijeij know a smattering of verbal languages that allow them to communicate, but often resort to primal vocalization when communing with one another.
  • Technology level: The Guzijeij are monsters born of Sith Alchemy and thus possess no aptitude for technology.
  • Religion/Beliefs: They have no religion, no system of belief. They are beasts bred to kill and die for their creator.
  • General behavior: The Guzijeij are generally ferocious territorial hunters and have been shown to be highly aggressive towards anything that disturbs what they perceive as their territory, especially against other male Guzijeij. When not being used as weapons of war by their creator, the Guzijeij form small conclaves typically comprised of one male and several females to maximize breeding efficiency. This type of behavior is not natural to the people from which these beasts were created from, and is something that was programmed into their genetic makeup so that they could perpetuate their species for use in war. Unruly and barbarous, the Guzijeij can only be properly controlled by powerful Dark Siders who have an intimate knowledge of Sith Alchemy and Magic, specifically that which was used to create such vile beasts as these.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Togorians had always been a target of oppression and destruction by the Sith since the Old Empire annexed their homeworld shortly before the onset of the First Imperial-Republic War. For the next several decades their planet would be subject to occupations, mass murder, deforestation, and saturation bombing until most of the landscape resembled an arid waste rather than the sprawling plains and forests that had previously spread across its surface. It all came to a head during the Second Imperial-Republic War when the One Sith Empire wrestled control of Togoria away from the Republic in a battle that brought further ruin to what remained of the Togorian's capital city.

In the aftermath a massive prison-city was constructed called New Caross, and by the orders of the Sith Lord Darth Vornskr all of the surviving Togorians were forced to live in the ghettos built within its massive walls. Many were killed through starvation, torture, and death squads while many more were taken for experimentation by the Sith Lord's vile scientists on Panatha. Many would not survive the atrocities committed upon their flesh, and those that did would never be the same again. They were transformed into hulking aberrations who would be used as cannon fodder for the Sith war machine, often sent to fight and die in the most pitched combat zones against Republic soldiers and Jedi.

When the One Sith Empire fell and New Caross was destroyed the supply line of Togorian test subjects was cut off, forcing Vornskr, now self-christened as Carnifex, to have his bastardized creations breed with one another to maintain their dwindling population. He confined them to large paddocks deep in the Panathan wilderness where they could thrive, breed, and fight one another to cull the weak and allow the stronger specimens to pass along their genetics.

This submission is very well done as usual of your work. That being said lets get started:
  • Strengths/Weaknesses: Under "Powerful" could you elaborate on what types of armors these creatures are able to tear through?

Interesting creation.

To note: you have two very strong physical strengths and two very not-physical weaknesses. This is not balanced and I would hardly consider their shorter life-spans an actual weakness as much as it is simply a by-product of their creation. A shorter lifespan offers no balance to their physical strengths in combat.

Given that they are creations of Darkside magic/alchemy, you have one physical weakness handed to you on a silver platter: a major weakness against Lightsided powers / artifacts. Add that in there.

I would like an additional physical weakness other than that as well.
