SPECIAL FEATURES
- What is a God to an Emperor?: Created with the express purpose of making sure the volatile Darth Vulcanus is kept under sway The Graugothian Chain is enchanted in such a way as to obey the Force signature of Emperor Carnifex, Darth Prazutis, and Joycelyn Zambrano. However as is his want the Chain obeys The Shaper above all others, should it ever be necessary to assert more absolute control over Vulcanus in opposition to his peers. An undesirable precaution.
- Bound Forevermore: It should go without saying but the Graugothian Chain cannot be removed by conventional means and, in accordance with the ritual that formed it, only the Shaper's own power working in accord with one of the Zambrano bloodline could release it's grip on Vulcanus.
- Tug at his Heart
and BrainString: The Graugothian Chain is seamlessly melded into the flesh of Vulcanus, both along his side and at the base of his neck, to his heart and brain respectively. The power of the embedded Sith Amulet uses telekinesis to keep the chain from pulling on them, meaning Vulcanus will not die should the chain be caught on a door handle, but serve another altogether sinister purpose.
- Made to contain a God: Infused with the excess energy of a ritual conducted by five of the most powerful Sith Lords in the galaxy and the entirety of a Sith Amulet's energy reserves, the alchemy that binds the Graugothian Chain together is truly legendary. It was made with containing Vulcanus forever in mind, regardless of assistance or enhancement, and is among the most durable alchemical artifacts ever born.
- Snuff the Flame: Fully aware of Vulcanus' absolute Mastery of fire the Shaper enchanted the Graugothian Chain to absorb extreme amounts of heat and, in turn, convert this heat into chilling cold. It can be surmised that this would also help keep Vulcanus cool in hot weather too.
- Cold Snap: Should the Graugothian Chain be suffused with enough frigid cold then Vulcanus could brandish it as a weapon and, upon striking a surface or individual, the Chain would flash-freeze wherever the chain strikes. Though the chilling touch of the chain does not go beyond where the chain itself strikes.
- Look Vulcanus! No hands!: Should Vulcanus wish it the Graugothian Chain can tap into the power of the Sith Amulet sustaining itself to respond to his commands, whipping and lashing at foes without the need for physical manipulation.
- The Will of Others: The Graugothian Chain is not a willing adornment of Vulcanus, nor one of his creation, and will respond to the will of Carnifex, Prazutis, Joycelyn and the Shaper above Vulcanus' own. Most simply this can be used to cause the Chain to dig it's obsidian edges into his flesh as a punishment, causing him immense pain.
- Fail-Safe: Should a part of the Graugothian Chain be exposed to a Force-Dead area or a Ysalamiri field the Chain will no longer be able to manipulate itself telekinetically, causing it to do Vulcanus immense harm and pain by tugging on his brain, heart and digging obsidian into his flesh. Also should the Chain ever be broken, or an attempt be made to remove it improperly, it's alchemical bonds will explosively disintegrate causing it to break into a spray of metallic shards inside Vulcanus' body.
- A Constant Reminder: Even whilst being manipulated by the Sith Amulet the obsidian edges can still hinder and cut into Vulcanus while he moves, keeping him in a constant state of pain and alertness, and denying him comfort completely.
- Unnatural Burden: The Graugothian Chain is, simply put, MUCH heavier than it has any right being. Truly a work-out regiment fit even for a monster of Vulcanus' swol stature.

Formed from materials on-hand at the site of Vulcanus' resurrection the Graugothian Chain is nonetheless an impressive display of artifice and skill. With it's abilities constantly fueled by the embedding of a powerful Sith Amulet into Vulcanus' reborn body it was made specifically to both restrain, contain and humble the Graugothian God to the new powers of the Sith Empire. At least, those the Shaper considered to be such present at his resurrection. Implanted both into the Graug's skull and chest the Sith Amulet imbued into the chain exerts just enough telekinetic force to keep the chain from pulling on Vulcanus' brain and heart, but was not designed to spare him the chain's immense weight or cutting obsidian edges and in fact was designed to keep them ever there as a reminder to Vulcanus as to his new confines. The Chain will also absorb and convert even incredibly heat subjected to it into chilling, arctic cold. Capable even of snuffing and smothering even Vulcanus' mastery of flame since it's inception was at the hands of five Dark Side Masters. Altogether the Graugothian Chain, as it's name would suggest, was built for one unbreakable purpose, and will perform this purpose until the eventual day it is removed. If it ever is.......
