The Freedom Fighters [Open]

Iris Tyrad

A man with no friends, only live for revenge
Iris stumbled down the street of the Coruscant underground, an all too familiar place. Already being kicked out of one of the two bars he'd entered on this seemingly uneventful night. He hadn't planned on going to another bar, he'd rather just head to his ship and brace for the oncoming hangover. But the bar that stood in front of him, full of flashing nights, caught his eye and peering through the crack in the door Iris saw something even more eye catching than the lights, flashing women.

Thinking he might aswell try to get lucky tonight, Iris dragged himself into the bar, his vision blurry, and voices surrounding him, a déjà vo at this point. The counter itself semmed empty, so Iris took the nearest seat to him, next to an armour clad man who'd just taken off his helmet ( [member="Regor Laxvan"] ), this man was talking to someone with an all too familiar voice. Looking up, Iris knew who it was "oh boy..." He muttered as he recognised the young boy , the same young boy who he had met in a bar, not too long ago. The same egotistic, boasting, ignorant boy who'd insulted Iris.

Regore looked between [member="Iris Tyrad"] and [member="Carden Lorps"] seeing carden's reaction, his hand slipt slowly to his weapon resting there just in case"i take it you knowe eithsother"

"No need." Iris reassured the armoured man, slurring his words, even half drunk Iris noticed his hand slip towards his weapon. Iris didn't want to fight, he didn't even want to move, he was tired. However he did also need money, and bars were a great place to make money, either in bounties, or acting as a mercenary for a mission. Due to his past, Iris didn't find it hard to get into good jobs, especially when he mentioned his part in the brining of the Alderaan forest.

Carden did not want to say anything around the man so he just shut up. He grabbed his helmet and put it back on then went to his normal routine of satrring at the wall thinking about his father, and who might have killed him.

regore calmd a littel leting loos the grip on his weapon, "i just asumed thad beceas of your reaction" [member="Carden Lorps"] [member="Iris Tyrad"]

"We met last night, he got mouthy, that's about it." Iris croaked, his throat burnt from all the alcohol he'd consumed this long night. This armoured man seemed professional enough, "you know anyone round here who could give a man some money?" He questioned the man, hoping for an answer, without the money Iris might not even be able to leave Coruscant. "Anybody look shady? Has anyone been approached a lot tonight?"

[member="Regor Laxvan"] [member="Carden Lorps"]

He looked at the man geting the feeling it was just a over payd merc "the kind of shady characters i meet, ofen dont see the next day, or are to scared to do anyting, so i cant help you there, if your looking fore thad go ask a hutt, they migt be abel to help you" [member="Carden Lorps"] [member="Iris Tyrad"]

"No!" Iris slammed his fist on the table. Quickly realising eyes were now looking at him he quietened his voice again "I don't have time to travel, I need money to get out of this retched hellhole" Iris held his head with one hand, his headache had got almost unbearable "Please" Iris started "if you've seen your fair share of criminal, you gotta be to tell me who looks like they're up to something" Iris couldn't, and wouldn't spend another day in the underworld drinking and getting thrown about. He needed a lay off.

Iris then looked towards the boy, "and you, I don't want to start this again, just leave it" he warned.

regore took pitty on the man "let me tel you one thing about corusand, on the lower levels, stumbel in any shady bar or club, and you can find the local crime boss, thoug you micht have to chek a other bar, as i have not seen somwan like thad around here." he looked sternly at the man "but if i find you involved in the slave trade, i will end you" [member="Iris Tyrad"] [member="Carden Lorps"]

"Don't worry, I'm not into any of that." Iris scanned the room, his vision still blurry the on thing he could really see was moving shapes, some blurry detail on closer objects. After looking for someone who looked liked they might be involved with the local crime, an without any success,mites turned back to the man, "I'm just a merc, but if you pay me enough money I'll do anything, everyone has their price after all." Iris informed the man, almost advertising his services he could offer.

[member="Regor Laxvan"]

Regore shook his head "somtimig done, they just have to muce of a cost on evryone, and if your offering your serves, no thank you i only use volunteers, no merc's are conscrips" [member="Carden Lorps"]

"Understood" Iris muttered under his breath, replying to [member="Regor Laxvan"] "well if you ever need help with something, just check the news, I'll probably be on there" he joked, referring to his more 'famous' past crimes. Blinking multiple times Iris' vision soon returned, well still only half as clear a usually. At least now Iris could see people around the bar, talking, drinking, just socialising altogether.

Scanning the bar Iris noticed a couple of people mysterious looking people. Iris didn't recognise them, but they were talking, well more like whispering, how suspicious. This couple looked like he what he was looking for, Iris mumbled to himself "and bingo was his name-o" these people definitely looked like they were up to something. Standing from his stool Iris began to walk to the group, but before he took another step he turned back to the armoured man and spoke "see ya around, man" he then continued on his way to the group.

The mandalorian had went into this cantina, after hearing a retired republic soldier was forming a group of freedom fighters. This group would fight against those who abused there power against the common people. As a mandalorian it seemed like the honorable thing to do, if Ragnar's loved one's where being mistreated by the code of the mandode, and because he would want to he would have to protect his family from the karking bastards to the death. Ragnar believed if anyone were to see the ways of the manda they would need to see them not just as legendary combatants but as the true liberators they were. A skilled , Physically Fit, deadly assain would definitely be able to represent his brothers and sisters in this new unit. Whether the leader be a man, or woman this would not matter the cause would be enough to follow.

Switch

Don't make me bite you...
Switch yawned loudly as she strolled into the establishment, feeling behind her to make sure she had her 9118 heavy carbine on her. Feeling secure that she had remembered to arm herself today, she walked up to the bar, slapping her palm down on its surface. "Whiskey! ...please?" She had heard talk of somebody who was trying to put some kind of team together. She didn't know the details, but her fingers had been getting twitchy lately. She would really like to get back to work.

She looked around the room, taking in all of the different faces. A couple of them she even recognized. Huh... small world... As her drink arrived, she reached into her back pocket, retrieving a pack of cigarettes. She lightly bit down on a smoke, freeing it from the rest, before stowing the pack. Tucking her cigarette behind her ear, she downed her glass in one go.
