The Conclave of Yutan: Return of the Jedi Order.

Dane saw the Padawan motion over for him to come along, and he accepted the call. The boy, maneuvering through the diverse aliens in the room, came to Kareem and thank her for letting him tag along. He clearly was in confusion just beforehand and perhaps a familiar face such as her's would help him understand things a bit more. Dane knew Karren and had met her a few times in the past, and had looked up to her as a role model for what he was to become in the future. He smiled back at Padawan Trask and wondered what all the activity was meant for in the Hall of Concordance. When the trainee saw the Padawan go up in front of the crowd, he was happy to see that there were those who were so willing to take charge of certain actions and make a meaningful change. When Trask asked her final question, Corran had hoped that swords such as lightsabers would be the main focus here.

"It is good to see you too little one," Calder would show his version of a smile to [member="Karren Trask"] . "However, I am no Knight. Not yet." He would fall silent as the padawan spoke, her words filled with wisdom beyond her age and rank. It was impressive, especially since in Beorni culture she would hardly be a cub. The differing orders and ideals came as a surprise to Calder however. During the time of the Netherworld event he had met a Jedi and from him the Beorni assumed there was only one order.

"Each is part of the whole." He would speak up as soon as Trask was finished, stepping forward. "The split was formed because there was no agreement. Instead of trying to be different from them, the Silvers who focus inward and the New Jedi who focus outward, we balance the two. We are not just the sword who strikes down evil or the shield that defends the weak. We are the hammer that will build the bridge needed to reunite all Jedi. Or, at least that's what I think the goal is."

"Perhaps not Calder, but you are not incorrect either and this is something we must stress of vital importance. The Jedi Order was splintered by difference of opinions that were allowed to grow into hostilities. These groups differ in how they operate but they are not bad people, they are Jedi as are we, following their own path. Somewhere along the line I fear that people have forgotten that it is possible to disagree with one another yet still respect and befriend their peers while doing so. Common Courtesy is what escaped the Order back then, the tolerance and understanding that should have been presented where instead they were met with defense and redicule. It's no wonder some felt pushed out; it's never been a Jedi's place to be the judge of others..." and nor would they start now. It constantly served as a reminder the frail goal that Veiere was striving for was marred with controversy in that every step towards fulfilling it, echoed the differences that they had with the rest of the Jedi in the Galaxy. His objective here wasn't to lead them to further separate from one another but to create a hub for all kinds of Jedi while too creating the foundations for a center of tradition and purity in the ways of the Lightside of the Force.

"They will not be shut out from our Temple. Quite the opposite, we will invite all Jedi to come and study, to learn and to live with us if they wish of it. We will adhere to the Jedi Code and follow in the path of the old ways, yet by doing so we will not forget those around us. Nothing will change for the better if that change is being forced upon others; nor can we exclude them from what we believe and strive to do. They are Jedi just as we are, they are merely following a different path trying to reach the same destination...I would prefer to share what we can with them, while keeping to ours".

She listened to [member="Veiere Arenais"] as he spoke about the other Jedi and acceptance of view while adhering to their own, not judging other by the way they decided to live their life. She could easily see why he was a master, consular as well as the grand master, he had wisdom and power but still seemed human bring himself down to the level of those not as afulent as he was, answering questions without delay. She mulled over any possible questions she could ask that could be considered important enough to bring up, she smiled as one came to mind.

"ummm master [member="Veiere Arenais"] what will be the specific role of the order besides teaching people the way of the Jedi, will we be acting a peace keepers as well like the Jedi of old, and what is the orders stand on attachments"? This could have been answered already but she was still inexperienced and needed clarification just to be sure.

Soryyn couldn't help but chuckle at Veiere's words. It was very similar to the speech he had given Soryn on Commenor not that long ago. That same speech of holding hands and singing songs while the Galaxy burned all around them. The same speech Soryn didn't fall for then and wouldn't fall for now.

"Tolerance and understand? Tolerance and understanding?"

Soryn paused.

"And which pray tell Master Arenais do you recommend seeking out in the last moments of our lives when the Sith or those peers you and your wife are encouraging on Commenor to study the dark side stick a lightsaber in our backs. Tolerance or Understanding?

I have a different theory one that I know you are familiar with. With equally fascinating buzzwords. Justice and Freedom. Justice and Freedom."

He paused.

"Freedom to live without oppression, freedom to live without slavery, freedom to live without fear. Justice for those oppressed, Justice for those sold into slavery, Justice for those who have only known fear."

In a single instant, he went from awe to confusion. The Jedi spoke on a level above and beyond his comprehension, though the subject matter was enough for him to struggle with. What is a Jedi? What is their role in the galaxy? What had he come to do, and what would they intend for him to become? So many questions were created in that moment that they drowned out any answers he might find. He let out a sigh and tried his damnedest not to lose himself in the chaos.

This, right now, isn't very peaceful, he observed.

What would his father, a man who he only knew by his legends and the heroic tales woven by his mother, say to all of this? The few times they spoke when he was a child, the man was distant, aloof, but loving in his own way. Thom had learned not to think ill of him for it. "A Jed's life is sacrifice," Durell had explained.

But what did that mean?

His mother told him it meant that his was a dangerous life, and that duty could take him from his family at any time. More than often, it did. The ancient Jedi had been forbidden attachments for that very reason- the struggle, the hardship, and the sadness were a quick, rocky path toward losing oneself in selfish sentiment. Durell had loved his wife and his son, and yet, he had understood that the life he chose was one that did not allow him the relationship they deserved from him.

In spite of that, his wife never thought less of him. It was an example he looked back on in that moment, and he remained quiet as the others spoke up. There was pointed protest, though the speaker was unfamiliar and his importance to the Jedi beyond Thom. What he could understand, was that [member="Soryn Solimar"] wanted a proactive approach to the injustice of the galaxy.

Instead of speaking out against that, or in favor, Thom opted to listen and learn. Understanding was the gateway to common ground.

But where did the Jedi Order itself stand?

"Be mindful of your feelings, my father used to say," Thom murmured as he watched the Padawan give his passionate dissension toward [member="Veiere Arenais"]. He wondered what the Jedi Master would say in response.

The light in the room remained strong and warm. Thom closed his eyes and eased himself into the soothing atmosphere.

Arisa would arrive at Concordance Hall with her apprentice Yuroic, comfortably dressed for the muggy jungle weather, in khaki shorts and a snug fitting navy tee, a white ball cap on her head to keep the sun out of her eyes. She carried a large blue cooler with her, full of all sorts of chilled refreshments to enjoy during what she hoped be a very productive meeting.

It looked as though the Grandmaster had arrived just as discussions had kicked off. Out of the loop, she would simply sit in the back of the hall with her apprentice as to not cause any unnecessary interruptions. Once settled, she popped open the cooler to retrieve a bottle of rootbeer. There was a low hiss as she twisted the cap off, then fizzing as she tilted the exposed end of the cold sugary drink against her lips for a swig.

As her trusty apprentice, Yuroic was always free to share in what she had brought in for the Conclave, and there would even be enough extra else present if they asked. (Maybe except for the
Beorni, quite a large fella.) A Jedi was nothing if not generous.

For the time being, she would just remain quiet, just listening to what her peers had to say and get caught up. Yuroic was free to chime in whenever he desired. Within this hall of fellowship, they were all equal.

[member="Yuroic Xeraic"]

Yuroic had joined his Master on another journey to the Temple on Yutan. Last they were here she shared her past experience on the Temple. In his opinion, it was looking much grander and back in its former glory, though he thought the overrun by nature and battle scars added character to the ancient temple. As Arisa pulled out a soft drink and took a sip, he grabbed a cold water and sipped that quietly. He remained silent, watching and listening to the proceedings.

The gathering was intending to unite the Jedi under one banner, a noble and worthy cause. Like many things in nature, they were stronger together than alone. With Sith fighting each other as they are seperate factions, now would be the time to stand as one and take the fight to them. However, it had been a long time since there was a single Jedi faction from what he heard. Being a new member to the Silver Jedi Order, he wasn't sure if he should chime in or remain quiet. For now he was choosing to remain quiet. Looking to his Master, he spoke in a quiet whisper, "Master, do you believe we should unite together? There are so many differing opinions on the Jedi way be hard to tell those of one way theirs is wrong..."

[member="Arisa Yune"]

"There is no question that we shouldn't unite against a common threat," she answered as she capped the bottle of her soda, voice also kept down to a whisper. "There is a clear and present danger to us all. The Ascendency, Resurgent Empire, Primeval...we either sit back and let them take over everything, or we resist. It's as simple as that."

She didn't understand what the fuss was about among her peers. There was a well-known template for how Jedi should comport themselves during ages where the Sith operated in the open. The Jedi and the First Republic they served didn't protect the people just sitting on their laurels. Tumultuous times required the Jedi to respond in kind.

"That said, it's something seeing everyone here today. With the Sith and Fascists on the rise, we'll see if everyone will finally come to their senses." She uncapped her bottle and took another sip. "Yuroic, if you have something to say, then please do so. I always have your back."

[member="Yuroic Xeraic"]

Rell stood by quietly listening to the master after he rose and spoke. Soon others started piping in with their opinions on everything. She listened closely to everything, observing before she would eventually speak up at some point. Things started peaceful until [member="Soryn Solimar"] had to leave a justified, yet snarky remark. Gabriella agreed with him to a point. He obviously knew the master better than she ever would, so their relationship was unknown to her, but respect went a long way.

She continued listening, hearing whispers all around her, until she had heard enough. As everyone had filed in, she wound up more towards the back in the end, so she made her way forward slightly and then spoke up.

"I partially agree with that young man's opinion."

She pointed over towards Soryn. Rell didn't get any names yet, so she physically addressed who she was speaking of at that moment in time.

"However, tolerance and understanding are needed in the Jedi order. Of course, not everything is built on that standard and it's not something to preach to, but there is always a certain amount of tolerance needed and a certain amount of understanding needed. How do we ever learn if these two things don't exist in our lives? Understanding goes to tolerance, to patience."

Rell responded calmly. She may have been responding directly to Soryn, but in fact, she was explaining things a bit further while also giving her own opinion at last.

"Tolerance is a terrible word. It suggests we simply bite our tongues instead of voicing our problems. That we harbor a grudge to our neighbors but we tolerate them enough to allow them to live next door. It is not tolerance the Jedi need, but acceptance. We are not an army, nor a judge, nor an executioner. It is not our duty to dish out justice on those who have yet to do wrong but head down a dark path. It is our duty to help them see the error of their ways, little one." Calder was speaking directly to [member="Soryn Solimar"] , his face as passive as a bear in the wild.

"To free those who have been oppressed and bring the oppressors to justice is another story. It is not the Jedi way to judge those who have done nothing wrong, only help to bring in those who have for a fair trial. At least, that is the Jedi I knew."

He listened to others and shook his head. Standing he made his presence known by a simple cough. The discussion had passed worthwhile in his mind, not one person had offered solutions or plans on what to do. I am a Padawan with the Silver Jedi, I find what Karen to say is incorrect. The Silver Jedi Order encompasses both fighting the dark side and protecting innocent lives with peaceful talks and meditation. What you all seem to forget is that the old Jedi ways did not work. If they worked then we would not be standing here today.

The old ways forbid marriage and romance, we now practise that. The old Order was blind to the corruption and infiltration of Sith in the Republic Senate. And the last Jedi Order failed to be proactive against the One Sith until it was too late, we need to be taking action. There are multiple Sith factions out there, and they are fighting each other. Don't you see, while I disagree with the direction you want to take us, united we can fight the Sith. End their tyranny, for that is our duty to protect innocent lives from the dark side. Nothing else matters beyond that. However, I cannot see a way to bring all the Jedi under one banner. I shall also point out that there are not many Jedi here, none that can speak for the various factions of Jedi bar Master Yune.

Sitting down after pointing out his master's presence to the meeting, Yuroic looked over to her and gave a nervous smile. Felt good to get that out Master, why are we here? Do you believe we should be united in the old ways as the Jedi here seem to want to be? Asking with a little hope that she would take his side on this meeting.

Asheda kind of sat there not rally sure what to do now, it seemed that a lot of the Jedi present had their own views on what they wanted the order to be like and stand for. She herslef viewed the Jedi as peace keepers who took violins when nessassary, but not always a last resort. She though the main purpose was to keep people safe and act as gaeudiens, not military leader going off to fight long wars and potentially fall to the dark side. She mainly agreed with [member="Calder Icehammer"] view of the order and what it stood foment but did not voice her opinion just yet, what caught her attention was padawan [member="Yuroic Xeraic"], who seemed to be angry with what people said about the SJO. She didn't know much about them aside the fact they pend awere made to directly combat the Sith treat. She did agree with what he said about attachment but felt he was unfaily baching the past Jedi, sure they let their guard down. It that was because of the rule of two the Sith made, with the TRE and SA and the FO around somthing like that wouldn't happen again anytime soon, the boy was very forthcoming, that was one thing.

Yuroic delivered a short but heartfelt speech that resonated with Arisa. He echoed her feelings on the matter precisely. That's probably why they worked so well as Master and Apprentice, just about in perfect sync.

When he finished and questioned her to share her thoughts, she would set down her bottle, remove her cap, and stand to address the group.

"I'm just
going to be frank here. I didn't come expecting much from this gathering. All the past conclaves held within the last decade have been fruitless endeavors. Every one of them has ended in shade fests and circle talk, perhaps the most egregious example happening within these very halls years before."

"So I'm going to mix things up a bit and move our discussion from the abstract to the concrete. In the North, the Sith Ascendancy, Resurgent Empire, and Primeval ravage the Outer Rim with brutal conquest and enslavement. In Hutt Space, violent gang wars rage from Nar Shaddaa to Klatooine. In the far east, the Galactic Empire rises, engaging in unspeakable acts of terror like the genocide of hundreds of thousands at Hapes. In the South, the ruthless dictatorship of the First Order spreads, serving as a sanctuary for the Sith and terrorists. With my own two eyes, I have seen the evil that each group has wrought upon the innocent."

"There are all sorts of interpretations about what constitutes a Jedi, but I'd like to think that we can all agree, just as individuals, that the behavior of the aforementioned groups is inexcusable. Does that mean we need to tackle every group with fire and blade? No, and that's something I'd like to avoid where possible and show some nuance and pragmatism, but we can all be doing a darn lot more than bickering about what makes a good Jedi for the umpteenth time."

"So let's try this," she said, beginning to pace around the back of the room. "What are each of you good at? What can you all bring to the table from you respective positions? Then how could we apply your various skills and resources in bringing about more favorable conditions for the oppressed all around us? It's not all about dealing with the Sith and the like, either. There are trillions of refugees and other disenfranchised folks out there that could use our help. The Silver Order has been doing well helping these individuals while we also conduct our peacekeeping operations in the Outer Rim, but every little bit can help."

From the start, Arisa hadn't had much in mind coming here except to enjoy some snacks while her counterparts blew hot air, but she couldn't help trying to redirect their energy into something actually constructive. She hoped she had made it clear with the shift in topics that she had zero interests in discussing matters of dogma and legalism any longer. If her peers wanted to keep going that route, then she was happy to leave with Yuroic and go back to doing her own thing leading the reformed Silver Order already taking action.

[member="Veiere Arenais"] | [member="Calder Icehammer"] | [member="Gabriella Rhayne"] | [member="Karren Trask"] | [member="Thom Arden"] | [member="Soryn Solimar"] | [member="Asheda Tyr"] | [member="Dane Teraan"] | [member="Cambria Zadira"] | [member="Lady Kay"]

Ah yes, one testament to how dangerously readied the Jedi had become to adversity that they would seek to take to it with their lightsabers. Veiere held a very strong opinion against the Sith Empire, their atrocities were countless and yet often the Jedi Order had been forced to meet them in conflict, taking part in the violence of warfare in order to deter them from bringing harm to society. They were an easy people to hate for the Darkside swelled around them within their practices making it difficult for others to distinguish the Sith from being real people, those brought into the galaxy through the Force just as everyone else had in this temple. It wasn't especially rare to find people like [member="Soryn Solimar"], those who believed that the Sith needed to be entirely defeated, beaten into submission and an end put to the Darkside but the fact was that this was an impossible feat, an military dream. The Light and the Dark side of the Force were two sides to the same coin and Veiere had already spoken to the boy back upon the world of Commenor about his feelings on the matter, to the extent that Soryn had left. He hadn't expected the lad to show up again today, yet the fact that he was here gave Veiere hope that the lad wouldn't so blindly throw his life into battle; after all the Jedi sought to avoid and deter hostility, not instigate it.

"At times, Jedi are often forced into conflict where action inevitably has to be taken, this is a part of our lives that we cannot control yet should always seek to make sure that we are justified in the decisions that we make when faced with certain hostilities. Now, typically, against most threats I would hope that a Jedi would refer not to their lightsabers but to diplomacy and wisdom, yet the Sith are no typical people and thus, to an extent I do recognize the need for assertive action" Veiere was obviously choosing his words carefully here, he did not wish to condone conflict where it could be avoidable. "Always we must question why it is we fight and always we must seek to negate the suffering of others but there is a line not to be crossed there. The Jedi do not go seeking conflict, they do not look for it, they respond to it and seek to end it. Keepers of the Peace, we are not soldiers of war and no matter how justified you feel you might be in taking a life, no matter what side of the fight that life is on, any unnatural loss of life creates a disturbance to the flow of the Force and the natural order of the Galaxy...-It is not that I would choose inaction, but that I would have the Order held responsible for its decisions. Part of that responsibility is knowing the difference between deterring conflict, and encouraging it" this he was speaking to them all. These words were meant not for the Jedi outside of what this Temple would become home to, but to reinforce some of the principles that would be taken up in the Jedi Order here on Yutan. As for Soryn's mention of the Order on Commenor however, Veiere too had a response from that though his words were far less condescending.

"As per your mention of Commenor Soryn, yes there is an Order there that serves for the hub of all Force Users, a place of practice that is meant to give all a controlled tutelage yet not turn away practitioners simply for their not being Jedi. It is separate from the Jedi Order, an entity that is run by the government of the commenori people and yes, it was my idea; a way to promote force practice to some arguably less restrained individuals and offer them a medium of security so that the Darkside is not allowed to manifest and corrupt integrity. This was, I believe, something that I could share as a Jedi to those whom couldn't find a place of neutrality and understanding of the Force on their own. It encompasses the ideals of Commenor and at the same time, minimizes the possible aggression that might have come without the proper encouragement to these people" Veiere smiled to the boy, his glance soon turning to the rest no doubt gauging their expressions. Alas, that in this day and age, a Jedi's mandate wasn't to help the misguided, but the common misconception was that they were obligated to fight and kill them all. Utterly ridiculous to Veiere's mind.

"The Jedi will stand ready to defend galactic society where ever it comes under attack, always our top priority will be the preservation of life and the balance and will of the Force. Rest assured, we will not stand idly by while people suffer where we could be there to offer assistance yet paint us not as soldiers either. Blasters are designed to kill, our Lightsabers are meant to protect and the Force flows through all life, regardless of their moral compass. Above all else is the Force and it's our duty to honor and serve it". There would be plenty more opportunities to come to discuss such implications of duty, classes on morality and the like for their students to study under Knights and Masters of the Temple in the future days to come yet this Conclave was to signify the Order's re-establishment here and after the last one, Veiere didn't have the mind to let this one be rail-roaded by what-if's or what could-be's.

"Moving forward, I would like to give you all the opportunity to speak on your own behalf. There are some here with experience, while there are others who seek it. Share with us what it is that drives you all to seek understanding in the Force, why you would call yourself a Jedi and the incentive behind it all...".

Arisa listened as Veiere spoke, but he didn't address any of the specific real world examples she had provided for review. She spoke again to bring them to forefront of discussion before they again regressed to abstract philosophical debates she was trying to avoid.

"
Veiere," she started, pausing and turning to address him directly. "I just pointed out a number of Sith Organizations, most notably the Ascendancy and Resurgent Empire, who war with their neighbors and have no interest in diplomacy, outside of using talks as a stalling tactic to prepare for their next attack. The people they conquer or coerce are treated like chattel. They stalk Jedi and hunt them down like game."

"You say that Jedi shouldn't go out seeking conflict, but I should point out that time and time again we invite conflict to our doorsteps with this dangerous reactive mindset. The Galactic Alliance and the New Jedi Order ignored the First Order until they were too powerful to defeat, my predecessors in the Silver Order failed to secure the Caldera, and now it has again become a seat of power for the Resurgent Empire with clear aims for galactic conquest like the One Sith before them."

"So then, how do you suggest we address these groups in particular?"

Veiere would respond quickly before anyone else could interject, he had moved to put this subject behind them and focus inward on the Jedi Order of Yutan itself yet for [member="Arisa Yune"]'s clarification he had to delve into what separated the Silver Jedi Order from the Jedi Order of Yutan, a conversation that perhaps could have been easier spoken upon within private. "Yours is an Order that governs a vast number of worlds Arisa, has fleets and armies larger than any congregation of Jedi has had before and consists of more people than most governments, your territory is larger than the Galactic Empires, rivals that of the First Orders and the Galactic Alliance. The direction your Order has taken has seen to a difference in methods and conduct that will differ from our own here. As I said, we are keepers of the Peace. I do not know the details of past crimes taken against your people and trust me when I say I am sympathetic, there have been a number of times I have stood and fought in the defense of Voss; I cannot however condone acts of war neither on their side nor our own. Should they turn their sights upon Yutan then we will defend it. Should they attack you again, then we will defend you and should things escalate then we will discuss further options then and there. By then it is my hope that a Council will have been appointed to mutually decide the Orders direction but until that time, we offer only protection".

The Sith Ascendancy and The Resurgent Empire were no different from the First Order or the Galactic Alliance, Pirates, Smugglers or even civilians. They had an equal potential to do harm to others, the only difference being the application of the Force yet Veiere knew that in an event of war, the Commenor Systems Alliance would be forced to intervene and the Jedi Order would likely be called upon to delegate between measures as peace keepers, unbiased mediators who could be trusted to act within reason. "I do not share your prejudice of the Sith, for I do not view them as an Enemy. They are people capable of right and wrong as much as any other, their views justified in their own minds. Their lives are no more important than my own, but their misdeeds would affect my judgement as much so as a common thief who would seek to take a life in order to gain from it. The fact is that I do not believe it is the Jedi's priority to defeat the Sith, our service is first to the Force and then to the people of the Galaxy. Show me oppression and I will move to help conquer it. Ask me to conquer a people and I will say NO".

As she put Veiere on the spot with direct questioning, she finally obtained the answer she had been looking for the whole time, and it was disappointing. She sighed before addressing him, all hope for the project lost.

"
Veiere, I'm not sure where you're getting it through your head that the Silver Jedi chose to militarize on our own because we didn't. Let me run you through a sequence of events. Once upon a time, the Silver Jedi of old held a neutral isolationist policy much like the CSA. It worked for a time, but only because the Sith were preoccupied with the Republic. When the Republic fell, my predecessors quickly learned that they would not be spared from the onslaught they tried to escape hiding out in the Outer Rim. The Silver Jedi would retreat and attempt to make peace with its enemies all the time, but that did not stop the attacks, and they only increased."

"Eventually, they understood that they had to make a stand to protect everything they held dear. For their very survival. So we fight as we must."

"I'm quite insulted that you would even attempt to insinuate that I'm asking you to conquer anyone. I am asking you to help me liberate the oppressed where there is clear evidence of wrongdoing against them. Against your fellow Jedi when we would like nothing more than to live our days in peace. Contrary to what you say, I actually don't have a problem with the Sith. Just a few months ago I bailed out the Dominion Sith and Dark Jedi when they were targeted for extermination by the Ascendancy. Today, the closest allies of the Silver Order is the Iron Empire, a splinter One Sith group made up of individuals that I've literally faced off against on the same battlefield. That's just a few examples. So please, spare me the talks about failing to express tolerance and nuance."

"What I have a problem with is how many Sith and certain other individuals, including other Jedi, choose to abuse their gifts engaging in pointless cruelties against their fellow sentients. How anyone could be fine with that is beyond me, when we have the power to stop it. I can and have pointed out all the current situations that meet your criteria for action. So then what's the holdup?"

"Perhaps then you are too easily insulted..." Veiere responded, looking back at [member="Arisa Yune"] rather surprised at her defensiveness. "I am not sure what you're expecting from this Conclave today Arisa, the Silver Jedi Order is not my place to judge nor do I intend to as I've had a strong standing with them for a good long time, the Heavenshields are good friends of mine. Your people also number in the hundreds where as this Conclave is about the establishment of a seperete entity of the Order here on Yutan. As I've said, we will offer help to those in need. If you would like to further discuss the Silver Jedi and the Order here, you can confer with me following the Conclave however this is not about the Silver Order. The refusal to accept other peoples differences of opinions is one of the major factors as to why the Jedi are estranged from one another. If you do not care for these talks then you are free to come and go as you please yet there are other Jedi here who will take much from this conclave and I intend to continue them" time was moving on and Veiere did not want this Conclave repeating after the history of the last; arguing and judgement over who was right or who was wrong would not be the image that would shape the conclave today. Their numbers there on Yutan were still so few, they had not the resources nor the people to take off to fight the political war of another people. Their capabilities were as of this moment small time operations taken to enrich the lives of those they could, yet war would see them dismantled faster than they could get off the ground and like it or not, Arisa Yune would have to make use of the hundreds of Jedi she had upon Voss if she sought to conclude the war that her people had found themselves in with the Sith Ascendancy and the Resurgent Empire; the bigger picture here was the whole galaxy that the Order would seek to reach out to. They couldn't risk a political movement so soon in their establishment, nor could they risk compromising the Systems Alliance; the implications would bring them crashing down from within their own world had they sought to act so swiftly. Patience was required here, the wisdom to fall heavily upon the guidance of the force for what was to be the right path, Veiere needed more than mere impulse.

"Now, please...-Everyone, introductions. Let us move this along. I would greatly like to know who we have before us today".
