"You want I should head over?" Domino asked over the comm while giving the group she was with an eye. They were already three posts into heading to the Harvester base and she doubted they were much further now. She had business there she wanted to check out. Plus this was the practically the only group that hadn't immediately done the one thing they'd been told not to and split up. Now she was hesitant to abandon them unless Matsu needed the help.

Using her wrist-comp, Domino re-tasked a trio of her own probes to the Jedi's location where their geological and metallurgic scanners might be of some use. "Sending some probes your way, they know to listen to you and one's equipped with a voice box." Finishing for now, Domino hurried to catch up with the others in the group and let them know that Matsu might have found something.

"Maybe in a bit, the base is more important and this might be a back entrance or some exit they made to avoid things." Her attention was on the seams while she was heading back a little touching the rock. as she reached in. her senses expanding out to the earth and her energies found the small almost invisible gap while she pressed more. her fingers shifting the rock around her to create grips before she was pulling with the force to scrap it loudly in the cave while the probes were coming. The ruined facility would serve Domino well she was certain to find something as there was a crack in the wall now she could slip through. THe heavy rock and earth she moved while the probes arrived and she sent it into the cave. "I'll let the probe go first and relay information back to you."

Nagate arrived late to a mission in progress. Once he'd departed from the Silver Jedi shuttle, he reached out with the Force for someone he knew was here, a familiar presence, his Master.

Through the art of Telepathy, he alerted his master of his arrival and requested orders. He was dressed in his traditional look of black on black coat and robes. His Mask was on and his focus was intense. The silver hilt dangled from Nagate's belt, the signature that stood out from the black contrast of his appearance.

Dagobah was a swamp planet full of mystery wrapped in the Force. The erey feeling of being watched was almost palpable. That and the darkside presence, would make anyone shiver in goosebumps, but the Adegan Crystal resonated within Nagate's soul and kept him centered and calm.

Traveling deeper into the ruined caves the jedi knight got to search and look over it. There was the sound of water dripping while her hands pushed some of the moss aside. Opening a way into a chamber while she used some glow rods to brighten up the area. Her eyes roaming over the larger sections and it went down from wires and cables into a black pit as tree roots were overhead. Water seeping down and making tiny pools below it before she started climbing. "[member="Domino"], I am below the facility, there seems to be cables heading down deeper into an area. I am proceeding forward." There were the others and she started climbing down with a look on her face under the mask.

Matsu continued to work on the door opening it while she reached out. Sending in the force her location to her padawans as she started to head down the carved stairs. The faintest light coming from her glow rods as she left them as a trail to be followed before she was going deeper. "The door is set in the back wall and blends in nearly perfectly. Be careful with it as it is heavy." SHe moved deeper down and was moving under the lake now as it was winding around and going deeper. The thick rock was making detecting in the force harder just with its pure thickness before she ws looking at lockers and tables with some basic traps and snares built into the rock.

Nagate fixed the location in his mind and took off at a sprint. The dew in the air made the robes stick to Nagate's limbs, he's definitely need a shower after today. He found the cave entrence rather quickly, a few swamp creatures could be seen scampering and fluttering about the area. Dagobah was a dangerous planet, that housed a Force Nexus in a cave not too far from his location currently. He would have time to visit later, first he'd need to report to Master Ike. Following the tunnel to a door, Nagate slipped through and began his decent to the area below the lake.

It was hard to breath down here but the Masked Jedi stayed vigilant. Secrets kept here needed discovery, it was his duty as part of the Exploration team of the SSC.

Matsu could hear the padawan and as she continued deeper down down looking at the piece of equipment. Another door and down here she could feel something more, her padawan moving when she got to the lockers and was opening them. There was more inside but not much while she found another door and slowly worked on opening it as she was feeling for what she could in the force. The door scraping against the stone and metal as she opened it listening for any signs of life inside, she slipped in leaving it open for the padawans while observing there were no electronic inside. "Something is here."

Nagate ran down the stairs as they reached further into the dirt. Finally catching up to Master Ike, he watched her slip through a door and the comment about something being down here, out came the knife that had been by Nagate's side from the moment he woke up in a crater on Coruscant.

"I can't really sense anything Master. What is it you see?"

It was damp and creepy down here, but Nagate's breath was unbelievably steady for a Padawan in a dangerous place like under the lake on Dagobah

Looking at him she gave a nod of her head to his feeling, down here they weren't really sensing or able to find things in the force. The rock was to thick and strange compared to the rest of the world while finally seeing her padawan. Matsu spoke crouching to touch the floor. "I am not certain, this is a strange thing to have in the swamp, we can only hope it doesn't have anything dangerous within it." She kept moving forward and looked towards different sections of it now, there were a couple of rooms and the bare minimum while her attention went to what else was inside the tomb.

He'd followed behind Master [member="Cathbodua"] almost silently, what few noises he did make masked beneath the sporadic drips of water from the roots above into the gathered pools below. Careful, calculated steps taken, finding any surface he could locate not-submerged, and stepping only on those. A hop here, and spring over there. To an untrained eye, one would assume him playing. While he was, indeed, enjoying himself, it was far more than a mere game.

Physical discipline was hand in hand with mental discipline. He wove both together seamlessly, his mind quick, sharp, and alert, taking in all of his surroundings, so as to enable him to preempt his next step smoothly, little to no pausing in his stride. His balance, and personal body control near perfect in their synchronization with his mental exercises. He landed softly, the sound masked by another drip, as he spoke softly to his Master. "I shall hold the cables steady here while you descend, Master. Shall I follow after?" He'd ask, as he took a careful grip on the cables, wrapping them about his arm in such a fashion to grant at least SOME stability to her descent. He'd await her response, and should she bid him follow, he would as soon as she finished her descent.

She was looking at him and at the cables while watching them. "They could have a live one, be careful." Looking down into the hole though she felt something less foreboding and more that internal warning you got in your head. Her attention going to the padawan while she looked in her belt grabbing one of the fiber cords and attaching it. "Head down with me but be careful." She secured it holding it while she started climbing down a little as she dropped a glow rod to try and find the bottom. "I do not know what is down there but be careful padawan." She continued going down leaving room for him and the fiber cord to let them repel down setting a beacon kicking off and dropping down.

That was it, there was definitely something hinky going on back at Matsu's location. Letting the padawans and the so-far silent woman know what was going on back there and that she was going to help out, Domino set off into the swamp. The recon data from her droids gave her an un-erring path to the caves the Jedi Master had discovered. Occasionally she had to jump over a pool or inlet of the murky water to move from one island of muck to another yet she eventually made it to the cave's entrance without picking up too much extra filth for her armor.

"Master Matsu, I'm heading in." Domino commed once she arrived. "Anybody with you or should I scream and blindly fire all over the place if I run into somebody else?" Waving one of the trio of probes she'd sent over to lead on, Domino followed it and the light it shined down the stairs after her friend. The rock surrounding her didn't garner any special attention, it was just more rock as far as she could see without doing any testing on it. Might have been a hunk of granite dropped off and sunk into the swamp to create whatever this place was supposed to be.

Location: Darkside Cave

It felt like he had scoured the labyrinthine tunnels of the cave for hours, searching through the darkness for what troubled him the most; he had always carried a deep rooted fear of the dark side and what it would mean if he were to follow down its path. On dathomir, among his fellow 'brothers', Coryn had borne witness to the intoxicating nature of the dark side of the Force, and that mere witness of such malevolence and darkness had scared him. The darkness was not a path that he wanted to tread, he had always felt the safest in the light, but even he knew that the dark side would claim its prize - maybe not today, or tomorrow, but it would have what it wanted; that much he could sense in the words that echoed through his mind on a daily basis.

"The darkness takes what it wants, as it shall one day take us and mold us into the very thing that you fear to become." Hair rose on the back of his neck, feet frozen in fear and his connection to the Force crippled by doubt -- Sapphire eyes searched the darkness until they found it, the source of the paralyzing fear and inciter of doubt. Twin, sickly, golden orbs glared out at him from the shadows of the nearest alcove of the cave, a hidden room that he had failed to notice because of his envelopment in his own thoughts.

In a sinister hiss and deadly thrum of energy, crimson light pierced the shadows as though it were a knife cutting a slice of cake, and its sinister light fell upon the face of true hatred and darkness. It was as though Coryn were staring into a mirror, only the mirror would show what he had become - a Sith. He knew that it was naught but a mind trick derived from the sinister energies of the dark side, but even the lightest of illusions could hold the greatest of power if given the proper form.

"N...No..." desperation and realization seeped from the word, as water would seep from a crack in the glass, heavily and without restraint. The dark reflection smiled cruelly at his lighter counter part, evidently enjoying the pain that could be felt radiating from within the true coryn. It was not just the fear feeding the darkness, no, it was his sudden realization that this was a part of who he was - who he could become if the darkness were to take him. It was a possible future, his future, and it was proof that he could turn dark.

"Pee..." a moment of doubt, "....Emotion, yet Peace" surety and strength began to grow.

"Peace is a lie, there is only Passion." seeds of doubt and fear sewing into his mind with every malevolent word. He must resist.

"Ignorance, yet Knowledge." Light begins to clash with the Dark, sub-atomic cataclysm occurs in another plane of existence, mental images of wolves of shadow and wolves of golden light clashing in an endless shadowed pit. The sinking feeling of fear clawing its way back into his mind.

"Through Passion, I gain Strength." a wave of despair rocks the cave around him, forcing him into a deeper state of self preserving meditation, forming mental barriers to prevent the darkness from entering his mind.

"Passion, yet Serenity." words echo of latent power, the wolves of light begin to be forced towards the edge of the pit, to fall into the abyss beyond. The darkness is winning. It cannot be allowed to happen. Brief flashes of good and light begin to take the forefront of his mind, desperation thick in the air of the cave.

"Through Strength, I gain Power." the darkness begins its assault on his mind, stabbing at his mental barriers, clawed malevolence looking for a way in. Shadow wolves swell in size as the darkness grows thicker.

"Chaos, yet Harmony." Flashes of Midvinter fill his mind, the face of Master [member=Coci Heavenshield] and her husband [member=Thurion Heavenshield] fill his mind, the feeling of good and hope as their arms encompassed one another in the symbolic gesture of their love for one another. Light begins to return to the darkness as Hope builds, the golden wolves begin to shine, shattering the darkness that bind them.

"Do Not RESIST!" anger swells in the darkness around him, his mind reels at the sheer magnitude of its power, but he will not cower. He will not be afraid, "NO!!" , the darkness begins to lose its hold over him. A new surge of strength floods his veins, he begins to feel the presence of those on Dagobah with him - his connection to the Force is returning.

"Death, yet...." Sapphire eyes gaze directly into sickly golden pools of hatred, a clash of willpower.

In his mind the golden wolves (representing his Light Side nature) swell in size and begin to force back the shadow wolves (representing his Dark Side). With each step the golden wolves make, pieces of the dark are banished from his mind. The broken, twisted, version of himself falls to his knees across from him - sickly yellow eyes filled with fear at the realization that it has lost. The golden wolves pounce on the shadowed ones, each falling beneath the might of the Light.

"Death, yet the Force." a brilliant white wolf appears on the mental battlefield, and large silver eyes turn towards him and blink intelligently as a voice of the purest goodness enters his mind, "Well done, Coryn Raxis." the wolf turns away from him and in a single step the shadow begins to disintegrate around its feet, and with a final look to Coryn, the wolf bursts into a supernova of white light, obliterating the darkness from his mind and freeing him entirely from its control.

Tears flow freely from his eyes as he find himself aware of the cave walls and his surroundings once again. He over came the darkness, he would not fall to its power today, he would still yet do good in the galaxy and this brought forth a sense of freedom and confidence. He stood and began to turn until a flash of white caught his eye, a light that did not belong in the darkness of the cave interior - a shining light.

He extended his consciousness to his immediate surroundings, and the same gentle voice touched his mind again, though it was quickly fading. "A gift to help you in the days to come. Your journey has only just begun Coryn Raxis. Do not falter in your strength of will, the Light will always be with you -- no matter how dark it may seem." and with that the voice faded from his mind and Coryn grasped onto the object left for him, before turning and making his way to the entrance of the cave and the light beyond.

He passed through the entrance of the cave and came out into the murky swamps of Dagobah, his heart full of hope and his eyes filled with determination. He looked into the palm of his hand, and he found a crystal laying there, and as his mind reached out to the crystal, he could feel the connection that crystal held to the Light side of the Force. It was to be the first of his components needed for his own lightsaber - the first of many trials to overcome.

A representation of his success, and his Hope for the galaxy.

He made no sound as he descended, managing once again to find (mostly) dry footing. His keen eyes danced about behind his mask, taking in every detail he could. As soon as he reached the bottom behind his Master, the padawans gloved hands fell to rest idly on the hilts of his twin long-knives, observing ever diligently, keen senses taking in every sight, sound, and smell his keen mind could absorb and process.

Eyes eventually fell to rest on Master [member="Cathbodua"] , as she continued moving forward into this new tunnel.

[member="Ryn'Dhal"]

She touched down on the bottom of the hole, the cables leading them down into the sections while she was looking at something there. The light wasn't coming down but she couldn't feel anything. The rock wasn't natural while she activated a glow rod and cast a blue glow on the casket. Large and over sized made for a person with an inner and outer shell that radiated nothingness. It was hard to explain as she touched it with her hand looking around everything. "I don't know what this is but it isn't natural, the force seems to be wrong when you touch it."

Keen golden hues narrowed as they fell upon the object. Had he known any better he'd assume it held a person. But why would someone be contained down here? It made no sense to the padawan. But, regardless, in response to his Master's feelings off ill-ease, Ryn tightened his gloved fingers slightly in reverse grips on his long-knives.

Continually glancing about to keep stock on their surroundings, the padawan stood guard over his Master as she investigated the object. He personally felt that given his significantly lesser understanding of the Force, it would be unwise for him to go poking and prodding an object giving off a 'wrongness' in the Force. "What would you hazard to guess it is, Master?" He inquired, his eyes and ears never ceasing from their vigilant watch over the present environs.

Waiting for the arrival of an incoming ally, Nagate didn't know where to go from this point. He knew nothing about this planet and its secrets. He was out of his element in a cave underground.

"Our guest has Arrived master, how shall we proceed?"

Nagate looked to the Twi'lek as she approached. An erey signature dropped off this woman. She had a dark past, but it was to be expected when the Galaxy was in its current state. Nagate didn't judge her, he couldn't as he had no memory of who he was before waking up on Coruscant.

[member="Ryn'Dhal"]

"If I had to guess, I think it is an old sith casket. Not the kind they put the dead lords in but the kind they used to preserve their lives. From notes recovered the strongest of them could survive until the end of the universe at least as far as the creators of them claimed and no one would ever know who was inside." She was looking it over and prodding at it to just see how large it was, oversized and looked like a massassi with its width while she was marking the edges with a glow rod. "We'll need more equipment but leaving something like this here is dangerous, someone could tumble upon it and if there is someone in there release them or worse."

Ryn heard his Master mention that a Dark one surely resided within the casket, and immediately his eyes moved to the object, narrowing sharply. He concentrated, willing the Force to reach out, and 'feel' the object gingerly, carefully. The shock of such concentrated malice was like placing ones palm onto freshly heated steel. The padawan physically winced as he dropped his concentration and broke contact with the object.

"Tsk!!" A sharp intake of breath, as a hand flew to his masked face. "Such..... Hate? Rage? I.... I don't know.... I have much more growth ahead of me, Master." The padawan stammered, shaking his head clear. "I kept in mind what you had taught me of reaching out with wanton abandon to unknown objects, but even when guarded and prepared...." Hand rising to mask again, "whomever.... Whatever.... That is.... It is strong in the darkside. You are completely correct, we cannot leave it here."

Matsu laughed a little and spoke. "No there is a padawan with me Domino." She was moving now towards everything when she saw Domino and her padawan watching them. "I am not certain what is here, it is strange but looks like it was built after the harvesters were here." Matsu was moving around all of it and it looked like someone could live down here but no one was home as she stopped looking at a door. A massive metal and stone door while Matsu got some glow rods while she was looking it over. "This does not look like it is meant to be opened.... like ever. Which is good for us, it might have something worthwhile in there or something dangerous."
