Intent
:

To create a heavy-duty sledgehammer to make up the armed forces of the Agents of Chaos. I plan to use them as an element to introduce to a story, a large-scale enemy to fight or flee in terror of. To add tension since they're an unstoppable unreasonable horde about to fall upon their heads. I've often seen that wars to take planets are often very small scale with only a few dozen individuals on booths sides warring for the faults of entire worlds. Using this, I think I'll be able to take it to a larger scale. I also plan for this to create a moral question for the AoC, to be their dark side. They may be an insane band of cultists that shall slay all before them but how can you refuse millions of soldiers pledging themselves to you, especially when you can't fight most Galactic powers on the open ground? How much will they tolerate in the name of their cause?

Role: They serve as a massive military unit for the Agents of Chaos, numbering in the millions. They are the sledgehammer of Discordia to brutally bludgeon worlds into bloody submission or raze entire sectors to ash.

: The Pact of Chaos or The Chaos Pact

Classification: An organized zealous cultist army.

Affiliation: High Eroch Festerruman Sachiel and the Agents of Chaos (for now)

Army Symbol:

The Chaos symbol is what the Pact refers to as The Holy Star of Chaos that serves as their main battle banner. It is the image of their God manifest and the banners it is placed on is considered sacred. It is most typically displayed upon the flayed skin of the most loyal servants of the Warmaster whose bodies have been recovered from the battlefield after a heroic death. It is one of the greatest honors for a Pact trooper to ever achieve. For an Un-pacted to lay a finger on a Holy Star banner is a heresy that will result in the purging of the offender in holy fire. Units of repute within the Pact have their own banners created to celebrate their noble achievements and legacies.

Description:

The Chaos Pact is a massive extremist cultist army dedicated to seeing the Galaxy plunge into anarchy with their primordial truth, to be stripped of their heretical governments, and to purge the false gods that have tricked all with promises of peace and order. Unlike most of their kind that has come before, the Pact prides themselves on the supreme and unbreakable discipline of the common grunt and their carefully constructed organization modeled on the best armies of the Galaxy. Soldiers of the Pact are indoctrinated for years to obey their commanders in all things, without question, hesitation, or doubt. These things, combined with their zealous and absolute loyalty to their God and Warmaster, means they will almost always fight to the last man, giving nor expecting any mercy. The only thing they may ever fear is dying before the achievement of their objective, thus failing their holy deed in the eyes of Khoas and their Warmaster.

Many of their officers are battle-hardened and trained, often routinely using standard military tactics rather than relying on blood-crazed berserkers that simply rush head-long on the battlefield to attack their foe until they or their foe have died. They understand combined arms and the importance of regiments working together in order to achieve a goal. It was such iron-discipline and organization that allowed them to conquer multiple continents on their homeworld in barely a decade, standing firm and uniform against the barbarians that blindly threw themselves on their line, and watching their foes break and flee for fear of their lives. Well organized, they have an established chain of command that allows them to co-ordinate easily on a massive scale. This makes them very dangerous because as a result of this, they can match themselves with most Galactic armies on the open field.

The Pact, despite its professionalism, advanced organization, and staunch discipline, they are still fervent insane religious extremist that cannot be reasoned with. In the aftermath of a victorious battle, often commits massacres and atrocities of a repulsive level. They are not tolerant of non-believers and heathens, often flaying their skin off, bleeding them out, or burning them on stakes, purging their sins with Holy fire. Often, many innocents are rounded up and used for their sick debauched sacrifices and rituals to their God. If one currently trapped within Pact occupied land does not accept the word of Khoas, repent their sin of following false ideals, and fight with all dedication for the Pact and the Warmaster, those individuals are as good as dead. Only the most faithful and zealous survive.

They have all pledged themselves to Warmaster Festerruman Sachiel, their supreme leader, and are named after the Pact all members take in order to swear to the goal of Anarchy. This ritual involves them grasping a burning branch in order to understand what it was like of their Warmaster when he made his very own pledge to Khaos Himself.

  • Goals: To bring anarchy to the Galaxy, to tear down the false Gods that have deceived the people, to bring true freedom by teaching all the primordial truth, and to assist the Agents of Choas in the operations since their goals align, for now.
  • Reputation:

    Having to yet commence large-scale operations throughout the Galaxy, they are not well known by most Galactic citizens. However, in the few raids, they have carried out against minor settlements to capture resources, and information, they have become known as living demons. A wave of soldiers and steel that constantly advances no matter how much firepower is being brought down upon them and no matter how many of their numbers die beside them. Where one falls, ten more shall take their place. And one hundred each of them. They have never surrendered, broken, or fled in fear on the defense, holding their line with iron discipline. The only way that their foes have learned that it is possible to stop them is to kill every single one for each one posses inspiration and zeal beyond belief. They are known as a highly-disciplined army rather than the disorganized warbands of berserkers that normally characterizes most extremist religous cult armies of the Galaxy. They are also known to be gibbering insane madmen who butcher entire populations, sparring no-one, not only the elderly but the women and the children, too, slaughtering them like animals in oceans of blood on altars to their God. However, they shall only do on orders of their superiors and commanders to allow them to plunder.
COMPOSITION INFORMATION
  • Army Size: Huge - Intelligence suggests that currently, the Chaos Pact ranks include an estimated three thousand divisions within their ranks, thirty million current active soldiers with the unknown in reserve, though it seems that most personnel are active soldiers. Most of the population of the massive land conquered by Sachiel during the Unification Wars on Herodor was mobilized when he received the vision to launch a great crusade to bring the Galaxy to ruin. The rest that could not follow were all killed when Sachiel ordered the razing of his entire world in the name of Anarchy and in a strategic bid to ensure that no other Warlord would simply take what he had conquered and turn it against him. It is possibly one of the largest cult armies in existence but its true danger does not just come from its overwhelming numbers but rather how they choose to use those numbers, their advanced organization, veteran leadership, fanatism, and strict command structure.
  • Composition:
    • Crusade Army - The largest official formation of Chaos Pact that currently exists. They are commanded by those with the revered rank of High Seraphim, the Warmasters very chosen few. Composed of four Warbands, about ten and a half million soldiers, it is considered the absolute minimum for multiple-continent campaigns. For full planetary conquest, which is considered unlikely due to the nature of the Agents of Chaos and the absolute number of Choas Pact soldiers, it is recommended to bring up to four Crusade Armies to the forefront along with the direct command of the Warmaster.
      • Warband - The Pact's version of a Field Army with the commanding rank of Seraphim. Typical Warbands consists of about four Legions within their ranks, rounding the number of their soldiers to about two and a half million. These are massive formations that are considered the minimum requirement for seizing continents or major cities of resistance.

        • Redeemer Battalion - Made up entirely of Redeemers who wish to atone for their sins and transgressions, this unit serves typically as the first suicidal wave before a major Pact assault used to calculate the position of enemy emplacements with analysis of their deaths, sparring the more valuable troops and giving them a chance to redeem themselves. They are placed under the command of a Warrior-Priest which shall judge the deeds of those attempting redemption and may, rarely, declare their sins atoned for in the eyes of their God.

      • Troop - A Pact Troop is composed of four squads under the command of a Cornith who serves Platoon Leader and a Platoon Arluk who serves as their second-in-command. The exact organization can sometimes differ from Warband to Warband or depending on the situation and resources at hand but they typically have forty soldiers within their ranks. Specialization at the Platoon level offers commanders more options for the deployment of a platoon which can include heavy armor or artillery support.
        • Line Troop - A basic infantry formation composed of at least four infantry squads. These units are used to support more specialized units but can operate on their own. They serve as a decent at everything, master of none unit.
        • Assault Troop - This blended type combines two Line Squads, a Line Heavy Weapons squad, and a Pioneer Squad. This formation is used to assault known and possibly fortified enemy positions. They rarely act alone and co-operate with other formations such as Mechanized and Armour Troops. They are also fairly flexible with the possibility of a Line Squad being swapped out in favor of a Flamethrower Squad.
        • Pioneer Troop - Composed of three Pioneer Squads and a Heavy Weapon Squad, these formation is used to tackle large obstacles in the current path of advance. The Heavy Weapon Squad serves as a supporting element to cover Pioneer troopers as they complete whatever has been asked of them. At this size, they can also be given heavy-duty equipment such as engineering vehicles, bulldozers, mine-clearing tanks.
        • Light Mechanized Troop - Composed of Four-Light Mechanized Squads, Light Mechanized Troops are typically used to rapidly exploit a breakthrough, contain a breach of the line, transport V.I.Ps, or used for harassing skirmishes in a bid to disrupt enemy positions.
        • Heavy Mechanized Troop - Three Heavy Mechanized and Heavy Weapons Squads combine to create a formation ideal for breaking through enemy lines or eliminating positions of fortification.
        • Anti-Tank Mechanized Troop - A Anti-Mechanized Troop is made out of three Anti-Tank mechanized sections with the possible inclusion of a heavy destroyer to supplement the offensive capabilities of this unit. A light mechanized squad is also included to maintain security for any possible counter-attacks.
        • Anti-Air Mechanized Troop - Much like the Anti-Tank troop, together with three Anti-air squads with a single light mechanized squad for screening. A unit of this size may include heavier options for sub-orbital high flying bombers or even star-ships.
        • Armour Troop - An Armour Troop consists of four heavy infantry tanks or walkers or eight MBTs. Each Troop is followed by two heavy transport vehicles that serve repair and resupply duties. They can both act independently or supporting infantry operations. Current Pact doctrine states that armor is to typically form the spearhead of rapid-attack offensives whose sole goal is overwhelming their foes into a rout with their supreme firepower. Though they are to support infantry in defensive or mop-up operations.
        • Artillery Troop - Composed of 16 light guns or 4 heavy pieces, the Artillery Troop typically has heavy vehicles to assist in the transportation of their equipment. They often work in close conjunction with Reconnaissance elements to find and target enemy positions to pummel.

        • Breakthrough Troop
      • Section/Squad - The Section is one of the most important units of the Chaos Pact, having massive flexibly during active combat situations and able to maintain command cohesion. It consists of ten troopers with an Arlurk who is the commander alongside with a corporal who is his second-in-command who will assume command should the Arlurk fall in the line of duty. Each Section can be subdivided into two fireteams. A squad's specialty training during induction defines their combat function. During induction, members of a Section are often told to treat all as equal and as fellow comrades that will be at their side until death and beyond. They eat from the same pot, live in the same tent, and die on the same ground. The Pact currently contains the following types of squads:
        • Line Squad - The basic Pact infantry unit. Almost all members are equipped with rifles but are required to have at least a light repeating blaster or an anti-tank weapon.
        • Heavy Weapons Squad - Each fireteam within the Section posses at least one Heavy Repeating Blaster utilized by a gunner, loader, fire-director, and two security/support troopers. They can also be equipped with anti-tank guns in order to destroy enemy armor and other crew-served weapons, such as homing anti-aircraft rocket launchers. They're built to provide front-line firepower and suppression to support other units.
        • Marksmen Squad - Every other member of the squad is equipped with a sniper or marksmen rifle while the one without serves as support and security. The members of such units are often drawn from the best shots within the Pact, being able to make rapid-fire accurate shots with ruthless and merciless execution.
        • Pioneer Squad - An specialized constructer unit, the pioneer troops of this formation are equipped with engineering equipment that suits the task at hand. It is their duty to repair or construct support structures and demolish or disarm any obstacle that stands in the path of the main advance. The ten troopers in this formation are typically equipped with carbines and grenade launchers for protection as they most often perform their deeds while under heavy fire.
          • Flamethrower Squad - A sub-type of pioneers, the flamethrower squad is made up of the most elite of the Pioneers. They are amongst the most feared types of squads due to their lethal specialization. The squad focuses on two operators which are equipped with flamethrowers. Extra tanks are carried by four other soldiers. The other members of the squad are either equipped with grenade launchers or carbines in order to support them. This unit is most often used in order to incinerate enemy positions, purge settlements and burn down a heretical place of religion to false gods.
        • Light Mechanized Squad - Using two lightly armored personnel carriers to go where they are most needed, this formation is typically used as a rapid-response unit to react to rapidly developing situations. They prioritize speed, using light yet fast transports that may lack heavy armaments.
        • Heavy Mechanized Squad - Much like the Light Mechanized Squad, this formation uses two heavily armored transport carriers packed with extra firepower in the form of heavy autocannons, repeating blasters, flamethrowers, and grenade launchers in order to support an infantry advance on a heavily fortified position.
        • Anti-tank Mechanized Squad - Akin to the Heavy Mechanized Squad, this formation's two vehicles are equipped primarily with anti-tank weaponry such as heavy laser cannons, solid-shot cannons, and wired guided HEAT missiles. They are deployed in order to counter enemy armor during an offensive push or a defensive hold.
        • Anti-air Mechanized Squad - Equipped with three light vehicles, the job of this formation is the following in the footsteps of larger forces to provide them cover from attacks from the air. They serve more as deterrence for aircraft than a destroyer, making sure they don't come close to harm ground forces. They can be equipped with a 360-degree rotation flak-pod or missile launcher that can track down airborne targets and bring them down with shrapnel shells and homing missiles. They can also be equipped with rapid-fire quad auto-cannons to bring down strafing fighters that can be turned against ground targets, ripping apart exposed infantry until they are nothing but piles of smoking meat.
        • Reconnaissance Lance - The basic Recon Lance of the Pact consists of five troopers equipped with fast yet silent all-terrain vehicles in order to observe enemy activity and report back information. Two scout lances can combine to form a scout squadron, often for long-term operations or for message deliverance if comms are down.
        • Jump Squad -
      • Fireteam - The smallest organized unit within the Pact. Consists of four men and one squad leader. These groups are often split off from squads only - with the Section leader and his second - temporarily during combat to achieve tactical mobility or to pincer foes from both sides before once more joining together into a squad. There are more permanent fireteams that exist however those are for specialized jobs such as marksmen, suicidal bombers, and religious/moral enforcers.
  • Military ranks of the Chaos Pact
    • Warmaster - The highest rank in the Pact, it belongs to the absolute Supreme Commander of all units of the Pact and whoever holds the title is to be granted respect and obedience. Only one person in the history of the Pact that has ever held such a name.
      • Officer Ranks - Those that hold these ranks are those that have graduate His most praised Academy which is a school where promising cadets are groomed for high-ranking officer roles. Here they go through three years of grueling teachings as they are educated in the way of command and affirm their loyalty to the Warmaster. Those that have graduated are given a Letter of Academic which is their commissioned to this special rank.
        • High Seraphim - This is the elite rank that is only held by those who the Warmaster has personally chosen. As a result, there are only around half a dozen who hold the rank at any given time. They possess the ability to command the Crusade Armies but some are relegated to more specialized tasks. Such an example is the most famed person amongst the High Seraphim Selaphiel Shamshel, Sachiel's right-hand, who commands the feared Death Brigades and serves as his personal executioner. The rank is modeled on the Galactic equivalent of a Grand or Lord General.
        • Seraphim - General
        • Cherubim - Lieutenant general
        • Ennenhim - Typically commands Battlegroups-sized units.
        • Chervertim - They command the feared Division of the Pact and are basically Colonels in most state's armed forces. Many of those that hold this rank often have a decade of experience in the field. On an administrative level, they are the head of Battlegroup-level staff agencies.
        • Archcommanderim - The commander of Brigades with a command Arlurk Archcommanderim as the principal NAR officer on the field and an Astdevim as their executive officer. Unlike officers below their ranks, they are recommended not to heavily participate personally in front-line combat. Despite the values of the Pact going against it, it is in the best interests of an Archcommanderim not to place themselves in undue danger, and with commanding a unit at such size, co-ordination can be very hard if one is occupied fighting.
        • Astdevim - The Galactic equivalent of an Army Captain, these officers command cohort sized formations with a NAR to assist them in their tasks. These often help instruct at Pact training centers and is often a staff-officer at the Battalion level.
        • First Cornithim - A experienced Cornithim with up to 18 to 24 months of front-line experience. These lead more specialized weapon Troops that require an intimate knowledge of their capabilities or command artillery directory centers. They are often selected to be Executive Officers in Cohorts.
        • Cornithim - This is the entry-level rank given to most officers that have received their Letter of Academic. These officers lead the Troops with a Second Arlurk and four squads.
      • Non-Academic Ranks (NAR) - NAR officers are the backbone of the Chaos Pact. They handle the day-to-day small-scale operations of the Pact. They ensure the maintenance and improvement of the common soldierly. They take vital commands from above and execute them with ruthless and uncompromising vigor.
        • High Arlurk - Those who hold the rank of High Arlurk are the absolute epitome of what it means to be an Arlurk and oversee all Non-Academic Ranking Officers. Those that hold this rank are the absolute most veteran of the Pact, having been at its side since it's inception and been through the dozens of battles that have forged its name in fire and blood. They serve as the senior advisors, consultants, and adjutants to High Seraphims.
        • Arlurk Archcommanderim - A person holding this rank is typically a subject matter specialist in their field and the primary advisor and reviewer of Pact Regulations. They are amongst the most veteran of the Pact, having served for possibly decades within the Pact. They are the senior NAR officer at Brigade or higher levels. They supply recommendations for actions to be taken by the Archcommander and his staff during actions. They enforce the policies and standards that have held up the Chaos Pact from its creation within their units such as the performance, discipline, and conduct of Troopers.
        • Arlurk Chervertim - They are the senior Non-Academic Officer in Cohort Formations. They serve as assistants and advisors to Chervertons. They help oversee logistics, be a personal counselor to the men, be the commander's connection to the grunts, and be the harsh watcher who doles out discipline where he sees it most needed.
        • Second Arlurk - Given typically to long-time veterans who have fought for at several years in multiple combat engagements, they serve as the key assistants and advisors to Troop Leader Corniths. First Arlurk's are also typically given a command to more elite and special mission squads due to their experience.
        • Arlurk- An Arluck holds a rank above the Parlurk and corresponds to commander rank of a Squad/Section. They also serve as a Troop's Cornith as the second-in-command. These are the first line leaders that have the most direct impact on the common grunt troopers and oversee their daily tasks. They typically have one or two Parlurk's under their command.
        • Parlurk - The lowest official commanding rank, Parluk's serve as adjutants and the second-in-command to Arlurks. They serve as team leaders for fireteams or the smallest units. They are responsible for the actual management of each soldier personally within the Squad. They oversee individual training, personal appearance, and the maintenance of both discipline, loyalty, honor, and brotherhood between the troopers of a unit. The later tasks being a large reason for them being one of the most important, though lacking respect, ranks within the Pact.
        • Specialist - The rank of Specialist, while being able to manage Troopers of a lower rank, is not an official command position. This title is given to those that have been trained outside of the basic training of a Trooper in order to focus on a type of task. Such examples of those that hold these ranks are Pioneers, Martial Musicians, or Flamethrower troopers. Those with this rank can qualify for promotion to Arlurk after eleven months holding rank and one a half year in service to the Warmaster with at least three separate combat engagements.
        • Trooper - The lowest and most junior rank of the Pact outside of Induction and at which a soldier gains the right to make their full Pact to Chaos and the Warmaster. They are eligible for promotion to Specialist after four months with the rank and at least six months of service.
  • Chaos Pact Troop Variation
    • Rifleman - The common grunt of the Pact that makes up the majority of the Pact and the backbone for their Holy infernal war engines. Unlike most extremist cult armies that have formed in the past, a pact trooper is highly drilled, trained, and disciplined. They are all exactly uniformed in their heavy grey overcoat with the band of Anarchy over their left arm. All of them have their faces obscured by either gas masks, hoods, or face scarfs. They believe with their faces covered it makes them all equal under the eyes of their God for they are all near-identical servants of His will. To their foes, it serves to blot out any humanity or emotions that they may have ever possessed, leaving no question to their indomitable will and resolve. This also gives the impression that no matter how many are killed within their ranks during a storming charge, that it is replaced by ten more identical to the last, a never-ending unstoppable uniform tide of insanity thundering towards them.
    • Pioneer - These troopers are demolition and repair experts. They construct structures for infantry soldiers to cross natural and man-made obstacles as well as breaching of enemy fortifications. They build and oversee the construction of defensive or offensive emplacements, such as bunkers, support weapon firing positions and etc. They are experts in the use of demolitions, planting land mines and booby traps, as well as their clearing them for the path of advancing forces. Often deployed in the first wave of assaults on heavily fortified enemy positions, using their skills and equipment to support the attacking force in crossing and breaching the enemy's defenses, they have earned a reputation of dead as those that oppose them hear their deafening battle cries and look on in horror at their unstoppable charges of valor. Due to their nature of often encountering close-quarters combat, they are often equipped with melee weapons that include axes, Vibro weapons, hatchets and billhooks, picks, shovels, and even repurposed chainsaws fashioned for use against armor and meat.
    • Flametrooper - They are often used to smoke enemy strongpoints that are showing heavy resistance to normal units. However, their reputation has come not for their ferocity in combat but rather the atrocities they have been observed to partake in. The Chaos Pact believes that their flamethrowers and holy and purifying, washing the unclean in waves of blessed flames. As a result, they have been used to purge heretics that have foolishly surrendered or houses where the occupants have been locked inside.
    • Marksman -
    • Recon Trooper - The scout trooper of the Pact, they are made from soldiers showing extreme discipline and stealth as their operation often take them behind enemy lines. They are famed for their use of their long silver trench knives to slit throats, making entire enemy formation disappear forever without a trace, without a single shot fired.
    • Redeemer - There are disappointments and failures, that is the truth of the Galaxy, and the Pact is no stranger to such truths. Having failed or fallen short of their duty, they had been stripped of all titles they may have once held and their honor. They however are given one last chance to re-earn the God of Anarchy's grace once more through self-flagellation and find a worthy death in the heat of battle. They cast off their holy armor and weapons in favor of simple robes and melee weapons. Most often they are deployed in the first wave of attack against an unknown enemy as disposable assets. Tactical analysis of their real-time deaths provides valuable intelligence to commanders. Such data allows the more proper units of the Chaos Pact to take positions with minimal losses. Often as well, they are equipped with bomb vests so that they may take their foe with them. One man for a tank or an elite infantry squad is a good trade. Those that have been atoned for are allowed to return to their units and are often treated by others with respect for having passed the trials and redeemed their sins in the fire of combat. These redeemed are often battle-hardened and unwaveringly fanatics. They are recruited by more elite sections of the Pact, most notable being the Holy Order as personal retinues for their Warrior-Priests or as members of the dreaded Death Brigades.
    • Suppression Trooper - Made up of the most ideological sound of the Pact, truly believing in their Holy Mission and in the superiority of the Warmaster as His prophet, their mission is the reestablish obedience in populations brought under their control know who their master is. They are equipped with flamethrowers, riot shields, pikes, lung-eater gas, and other crowd-control weapons. They possess the highest discipline of the Pact and will not act unless ordered to do so. Such formations are exclusively commanded by the Discipline Master to ensure that the correct protocols are followed. They prefer close combat weapons with vibroswords and do not fear being overwhelmed by superior numbers. Most often, they simply massacre protesting crowds if such populations are foolish enough. Slaughter a hundred to frighten ten thousand into submission, as they so often say.

Warmaster Festerruman Sachiel - The Warmaster, the supreme commander of the Chaos Pact and High Prophet of the God of Anarchy and the Holy Crusade.

Appearance:

Two meters tall, long-limbed, and broad-shouldered, Selaphiel Shamshel is most often seen by his men clad in a charcoal suit, leather riding boots, and an intricately knotted red cravat, and a red frock overcoat with a cape trailing behind him. All of them are a faded red, dyed by the blood of great warriors that he has slain by his very own hand. As a result, he constantly reeks of drying and decaying blood at all times, surrounded by the foul scent of rotting flesh that none have yet identified its source. He has an extremely gaunt face, with several scars to proclaim his years of constant war, with his possessed blood-red eyes covered with round wireframed rose-tinted spectacles. Possibly the most memorable part of The Blood Warlord is his smile, impossibly wide against his blindingly white teeth, large and triangular in a manner somewhat reminiscent of a great sea predator. It is an insane smile that drives an iron stake of fear into all foes that gaze upon it and inspire endless zeal and cheers in his Death Brigadiers

Loyalties: To his Warmaster Festerruman Sachiel, to Cheaos - his God of Anarchy and Chaos - to the Chaos Pact, and to the Agents of Chaos (for now).
Wealth: High. He posses nearly all the resources that the Pact has at his disposal, including much of the plunder that they have gathered over the decades. But he does not consider himself wealthy as he rarely ever uses such reserves for his own self-gain.
Notable Possessions: Collections of Holy Books pertaining to long-dead religions or cults on Herodor before the Pact purged the world of its heresy and claimed it as it's own. He regards them with curiosity and wonder. He also has a pike that he wielded when he was but a simple warlord.

Skills:

Shamshel is an extremely dangerous combatant on the field, having battled almost constantly his entire life from birth.

  • Twin ornately carved K16 Bryar Pistols with elongated barrels for extra firepower and range. Shamshel uses these with great power, ripping apart multiple targets at the same time in a whirlwind of destruction. His speed and perception boosted by his force sensitivity make him a lethal opponent for a non-force user and non-augmented individuals to confront on their own.
  • E-11 blaster carbine with a pullout stock and a large-bore reinforced barrel in order to maximize its rate of fire and intensity. It has a drum magazine that holds a hundred standard rounds. He most often fires it from the hip, mowing down dozens with chattering fire.
  • Dual short vibroswords
Combat Function:

High Eroch Shamshel is one of the Warmaster's most trusted individuals in this cursed Galaxy and as a result is Sachiel's personal executioner when it comes to targets who displease him. He often takes the field alongside his men, fight side by side with them as they tear through all who stand before them. He is an inspired leader that has been a veteran in the art of war-making for almost fifty years, constantly tested with deadly trials that have left millions dead in his wake. He commands his Death Brigade with fantastic charisma that makes them almost unhesitatingly willing to do anything in his and the Warmaster's name.

Weaknesses:
  • Flames: If there is one thing the Crimson General fears it is flames. He does not mind fire being used against his foes as it purifies them of their sins, but he fears if it used against him. He cannot heal heavily cauterized wounds using his ability as they have ceased becoming legitimate flesh. As a result, lightsabers and flamethrowers are very effective against him and might be the only way to kill him without destroying the majority of his body.
  • Force Assaults:
  • Blood denial: The other side of the coin that is Shamsel's extraordinary regeneration, he cannot live long without consuming blood. If he is denied the use of the blood, the soul which he has sold to Khoas is slowly whittled away, the dark side beginning to claim his flesh. If denied for long enough, he begins to suffer heavy withdrawal systems and an inability to further regenerate, and finally, his entire body is claimed and turned to ash. He attempts to get around this by having fresh blood on his on all times, either by killing foes, Redeemers or if the situation turns desperate, even his own men.

I just needed a thread where I could gather all posts related to the Chaos Pact since I'm planning to at least have a half dozen more to come before I submit for judging and I need a place in order to store all the posts for organization purposes. When the time comes I'll make sure each has its own thread.

: To create an elite shock trooper unit for the Chaos Pact in order to shatter points of heavy resistance and also to be a potential branch of the Pact that players could join.

Role: The elite stormtroopers of the Pact used to break fortified positions in a hail of blaster bolts and flamethrowers. They also serve as the personal retinue of High Eroch Selaphiel Shamshel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Unit Name
: The Death Brigade

Affiliation: To the Warmaster, to their commander Selaphiel Shamshel, to the Chaos Pact, and, for now, the Agents of Chaos.

Classification: Elite Stormtroopers, special operations, and guard retinue to important Pact commanders.

Description:

Possibly the most dangerous section of the Chaos Pact is the Death Brigade, made up of the best that the servants of Anarchy can provide, the Death Brigade is as their name suggest, a brigade that promises death upon all those who dare face them. The Death Brigade serves as the elite special operations and assault branch of the Pact. The Brigade is made out of the finest and most ruthless servants of the Pact with promising candidates drawn from all over its divisions, from the common grunts of the main army to the warrior-priests Most Holy Order, to even high-ranking officers. They only pick up the best of the best, ensuring that they are veterans of combat who have proven themselves on the field of battle and that they are absolutely loyal to the High Eroch and the Warmaster.

Members are put through a harrowing training period that lasts for two and a half years. There

COMBAT INFORMATION:

Unit Size: Medium - 5,000 at current estimation. Though there are possibly another thousand in reserve.

Unit Availability: Uncommon - More recruits can be drawn from the pioneer squads of the Pact though they are often rare and hard to find. Training with the complicated power armor and the stringent co-operation needed often takes a long period of time. None to speak of the period for the installation of the bio-augmentation and adjustment period.

Combat Function:

Though they may be few in number compared to the endless unified marching ranks of the common infantry grunts, they often serve as the vanguard for larger forces, taking important strongpoints with their firepower and zeal. They serve as the special operations branch for the Pact, such as undertaking deep strike assaults, in-depth reconnaissance, infiltration, sabotage, assassination, airborne or orbital insertion behind enemy lines, and a myriad of other operations that require their specialization.

I read over the history. As such I’m moving this to pre-codex and not modifications. My expectation here is that you create three separate submissions into live judgement, essentially starting over.

Once those are complete tag me here I will archive this thread once more.
