Objective: Extermination
Post 4

It proved to be more difficult than he had anticipated to determine which angle he ought to use in his attack, or what form of armament would be sufficient in annihilating the traction of the APC. He was uncertain as to whether the firearms carried by his Sraelvun would be enough to properly annihilate the vehicle's mobility, though he did feel confident that it might at least damage it. Still, the APC was not completely alone, and this was a battlefield, not a sterile testing laboratory. Far better for the chaff to focus on the enemy's weak infantry and to leave the destruction of the APC to their wiser and more experienced leader.

Perhaps a couple of shells from the Pulverizer would suffice in annihilating the traction... or perhaps it would suffice in doing essentially the same thing by opening up wide pits to entrap the vehicle. Osam offered something akin to a grin to himself as the diabolical plan came to fruition. The Pulverizer side-arm was drawn, his finger gingerly fiddling with the trigger as he guaranteed that the recoil wouldn't break his fingers - it was important to hold such a powerful tool with both hands.

The shell shot out with an immense bark, sailing through the air under it had impacted into the ground near the APC, spraying out a rain of detritus and dirt and occasionally chunks of stone or gore which had fallen into the path. The rain subsided after only a minute or so, but in the place of level ground, there was now a significant pit. Another few of those scattered around the vehicle and its heavy weight would become a detriment more than an advantage.

The Kraemonen growled some nod of understanding, the worms that formed up its body shaking against each other to echo sound as it nodded. With its multi-tendril hand connected to the ship, the creature generated a map through the Mind Stone. Suddenly doors were opening, others closing to curtail as many of their forces as possible.

The Kraemonen released its control of the console, turning to the Titan and pointing down the hallway ahead. The group was lead by he and the Adapter, alongside the Juggernauts guarding the Brumak charge. Ahead of them was a larger open room, two doorways on the other side. The Kraemonen pointed to the right door, the group moving across the room as the left began to light up.

The Juggernauts stopped at his side, it seemed the ships defenders were preparing to break through. Without a word, the Titan pointed to both of the Juggernauts at his side - commanding the group to continue on to the right door whilst he hid to the side of the left.

Focus fire on the Jedi.

The order was given, his instruction clear. The Jedi needed to die, Quoron leapt up and above the shield barrier. His sole interest in the Jedi Knight of them. The vandal crossed the distance with speed, propelling himself from side to side with his powerful legs.

In that moment the warfare around them became little more than a tunnel, background noise as the two began to fight. Quoron took the Glaive into hand, he held the weapon in a reverse grip in an overhead thrust.

The Jedi raised his saber, catching the blade of the Glaive and pushing it aside and swiping for the vandal's throat. Quoron activated the hidden blade in his left wrist, raising the serrated blade to block the Jedi's saber.

He began his entry, slowly moving forward with his focus held on the maintaining of the barrier as his fellow invaders rushed in to the control room. Two naval officers moved to the top of the staircase leading to the second level.

They began to open fire, cutting down one or two Drones with high-penetrating marksmen rifles. In its current state, his barrier would be too spent to be reliable whilst also protecting against the rifles.

He clutched hard onto the Staff in his right hand, its white pearl helm glowing as he harnessed its power to shift his position. Time waned, the distance between he and where he wished to be was manipulated.

Yet he rose immediately, taking a hidden blade from his gauntlet and slashing open Galak's kneecap in a incredibly fast low strike. Galak growled in pain as he swung wide and outward with his wrist blades; with the small space between all the Jedi could do was raise his blade in defence.

The strike knocked the Jedi down, rolling on his elbows into an upright position as the Warlord closed the distance with wrist blades drawn. Galak hacked and slashed at the Jedi's defences until an opening revealed itself.

He caught the Jedi's blade on the end of his shield, pushing the saber into the Jedi's shoulder as he thrust over, the two blades cutting into the Knights chest as he pulled up, tearing away flesh on either side of his collarbone, snapping bone.

He darted back two metres, swiping at the mid-section of the Jedi with the Glaive. The jedi brought his saber to his left side, blocking in a hanging parry as he delivered a kick to Quoron's stomach.

The strike didn't hurt as much as stagger, allowing the Jedi to close in with a thrust for his chest. The vaydralen slid on his left foot, falling to a knee as he narrowly brought the Glaive in the way of the strike.

Taking the Glaive into a two handed grasp he pushed up, putting the blade underneath the saber and thrusting; slashing the side of the Jedi's right leg before rising, using the length of the Glaive's hilt to push away the saber.

One place became another, convoluted like misplaced parts of a jigsaw. In a shining blast of white light, Drek'ma teleported behind the two snipers. The first he simply struck as he turned around, making himself the most prominent thread for the Primarch.

Drek'ma titled his head, dodging a rifled slug. He swiped with the heavy weight of his Staff and cracking the man's skull as he was thrown over the railing. The second he reached out to. A singular finger outstretched toward the man.

Harnessed from the force, a hyper-volatile ball of fire was pushed out from his hand. He lit the man's head entirely on fire, slowly spreading to the rest of his body. The Primarch's attention turned to the third floor.

He didn't stop there, bringing the Glaive into a two handed overhead strike down on the Jedi. The metal blade came crashing down on the Jedi as he brought the saber up to defend himself, mobility hampered by the wound to his leg.

The Jedi had managed to stop the blow, bringing his lightsaber up in a diagonal defence above himself. But the sheer strength imbalance of the Vaydralen allowed Quoron to apply pressure.

The momentum of his strike carrying through, pushing the saber down to the Jedi's shoulders. Quoron acted with haste, thrusting forward to slash the Jedi's face as he side-stepped, pivoting as he back-stepped and slashed the vandal's side.

OBJECTIVE: EXTERMINATION

The Shaman-Overseer had nearly arrived at his destination.
Up ahead, a series of large steel walls loomed, marking the outer perimeter of a military facility. Once Ostak arrived just out side of the range of their sentries, he would halt and allow the vanguard to join him in the glory of a final siege. So far, hostile resistance had proven relatively minimal, the assault on the Lakonia system too widespread to devote large chunks of defenders to any one area. Numerically, Ostak suspected that the defenders may have an advantage. However, due to the sheer size of the urban sprawl and the quantity of the population that needed to be evacuated, much of their resources were already likely greatly strained.

As Ostak marked a kilometer's distance away from the walls, a sudden presence caused him to stop his steady stride. A single humanoid soldier rushed out from behind a large pile of debris, rifle raised. It was a young one, a male perhaps barely past boyhood. Corpses of his comrades, victims of an earlier artillery strike, lay scattered around him. His body was visibly bruised, his armor dented and his skin dirtied with blood. Yet Ostak sensed not a grain of fear or hesitation in the young man's eyes, not a single shred of doubt that he could grab onto with his invisible vampiric hands.

Intrigued, Ostak stood still and allowed the male to make the first move.

The door was forced open, a combat team of naval troopers led by an officer pushing through the gap. One of them without a helmet, easy pick for a first target. Tathra switched the upper end of the Axe into his right hand, the lower half in his left as he raised it to his chest.

Tathra swung down, the pommel crashing into the man's head, exploding into a bed of flesh and blood splattering across the other soldiers. The naval troopers turned in shock, one blinded by the blood over his visor as he fired wildly at the Titan. Following through his momentum, he stepped inward with his right foot.

Tathra pushed the Axe into his dominant hand as he swung the Axe's head down on the trooper to his left, the Axe was on the move again as the chest came apart like stretched thread, blood exploding out as the trooper fell to the ground. The blinded trooper wiped away the blood just in time to see the extended fingers of a black gauntlet ram through his chest.

The Jedi fell, crashing to his knees as he turned away from Galak. He saw this as his advantage, his moment to strike and impale the force user on his wrist blades. He raised his arm, building momentum before the plunge.

The Jedi pooled into the force, calling on what reserves remained for one final strike. A thrust with his saber in a reverse-gripped stab to his abdomen. The golden blade, several inches deep inside his armour and flesh.

The jedi had little strength left in his arms, broken collarbones and bruised limbs tend to lead to that but it seemed something else entirely was pushing him to the finish line. He rose, turning on his heel and swinging downward at Galak.

He began to make his way up the metallic staircase, a hellish combat ensuing all around him as the Juggernauts and Zealots mercilessly dispatched everything in sight. He could hear the crushing as one stomped the head of a trooper into the ground, exploding out in chunks, sliding in a pool of its own blood.

Drek'ma extended his hand, redirecting the blaster bolts fired toward him with the palm of his hand. The first caught a trooper in the chest, killing him. The second missed, the third hit an officer. But not accurately.

The blaster bolt took half of his cap and all of his left ear, screaming in agony as he fell to the ground. He turned the corner, eyes set on the stations commander. An older navy man, adorned in medals and carrying some sort of ceremonial vibroblade.

Quoron roared in pain as he turned away, taking the lower half of the Glaive into a two handed swing as he spun round. Swinging the Glaive with all of his strength at the Jedi, knocking the lightsaber from his grasp.

He pulled the glaive back into his left underarm, darting forward as he thrust the blade of the Glaive into the stomach of the Jedi. He didn't give him any time to recover, nor a moment to breath as he simply ripped the Glaive from him.

The vandal turned on the others, striking another officer with his Glaive. The man's jaw was taken from his face as he savagely slashed at him. Above, the Primarch had the command in hand. Those on the button floor were handling the security officers. He wondered what the Primarch planned to do with the station.

The commander removed the sword from its sheath at his side, charging across the distance between his seat and Drek'ma and swinging for the Shamans right side. Drek'ma blocked with his stave once and then twice again.

The Commander stepped right and swung from the wrist at Drek's left shoulder. The Primarch crossed his arms over each other as he switched from one side to another to block. It didn't take much effort, pushing the blade up as he fuelled his body with strength.

He struck with an open palm into the chest of the Commander. The old man was flung back into his chair, rising almost immediately as Drek'ma moved close. Blocking another strike before ducking under and overhead, thrusting his stave foeward and striking the commander in the chest.

The wound to his knee was party to his fall, dropping to one knee as he blocked the strike. Two more came, hacking and slashing at his wrist blades. The edges of which glowed hot, near molten for the repeat pressure applied.

Galak raised his left, catching the final strike - his fingers grasping at the Jedi's wrists in his hand, pulling them close together in his clench. He rose, slashing from right to left through the Jedi. The man fell, collapsing onto the ground as the other Juggernauts finally moved the wreckage out of their path.

"Took you just about long enough." The Warlord grumbled, huffing with exhaustion.

Their captain, his friend; Mord. He shrugged in response. Not much to say on the subject, but they had more work to do.

The man staggered back, falling halfway into the chair and using his right arm against the armrest to steady himself as he swung low with his left. The Primarch brought the staff low, blocking with the helm.

He stepped closer as the commander went to strike him again, backhanding him across the face as he crashed against the railway beyond his seat. The sword falling from his grasp, rolling once over his seat and landing a metre away from them.

He looked up at Drek'ma, blood dripping from his mouth over his jaw.

"Stop this." The commander pleaded. There was desperation in his eyes, his voice. Even his broken old worn body was crying out for finality. Drek'ma would deliver it.

Ribs shattering in an instant as the crimson monster moved with incredible speed. The fourth and fifth backed up toward the doorway, the one they had broken. The doorway further behind them, shutting. Their reinforcements locked behind it by the Kraemonen adapter.

With one last ditch effort, one of the troopers took a thermal detonator into his palm - priming it as the other got between them, firing his blaster. Tathra pushed aside the lower half of the blaster with the shaft of the Axe, cocking his wrist outward as he cut across the man's arms and chest.

The body, falling to the floor with only the distorted remains of each. The last, finally threw the grenade. Tathra knew he could survive the blast, but undoubtedly wounded. He had to act quickly and correct it to his advantage, dashing forward as he caught the thermal detonator in the palm of his gauntlet.

The soldier grabbed his assault rifle and fired upon the unmoving Ostak.
The bullets from the rifle were interrupted by a large, thin rectangular barrier of spiritual energy half a meter in front of Ostak, absorbing every impact without as much as a crack. Compared to the great collapsing caves and boulders of recent battles, the rifle was no more than a brittle slingshot. Yet the soldier kept recklessly firing, not stopping until his gun overheated and could no longer fire. Yet instead of taking flight, retreating from the superior physical form before him that would surely annihilate him in melee combat, he drew a combat knife from a belt on his waist.

For a mongrel, his bravery was admirable.

Still intrigued by the man's determination, Ostak lowered his barrier and allowed the man to rush his way, a fierce battlecry erupting from his mouth. When the man was a meter and a half away from Ostak, he lunged, knife pointed at his torso. However, it was an easy task for the veteran warrior to sidestep the desperate thrust, bringing a fist down on his flank hard enough to break bone. The man flew several meters away, tumbling to the ground. Surely a blow of that force would have shown the man how hopeless his fight was, surely such a blow would have given him sufficient reason to surrender his will to Ostak and be drained to fuel his power.

Yet when Ostak reached out with his energy to drain the soul of the man, he found his mental forays repulsed once more.

He crushed it as it exploded, the gauntlet absorbing all of the explosive energy bar a few streaks of flame riding his arm. The soldier seemed in disbelief, standing there as glowing aureate eyes reaffixed on him. He tried to move as the Titan fired a directional beam of energy directly into his chest from the gauntlet, burning a solid hole through the troopers chest.

Tathra retraced his steps, following the group lead by the Kraemonen as they neared the centre of the ship. The room was clear, the Kraemonen had locked the soldiers out of their own ship and there were far too many doors between them and where they stood now. All that was left to do was set the bomb.

Four minutes was all they would need to evacuate, then the flagship would be taken out of the equation alongside the control station. After that, the fight for the system would be theirs.

No doubt the captain had expected his words to be cause for deliberation. A moment of moral discovery, however he was wrong. The weakness of their leader only lead to one thing. It quickened the Primarch's actions, grasping the Commander by the throat as he raised him above the railing, struggling in a chokehold for all to see.

The life draining energies, already having begun to burrow into the commander through his fingertips.

"Rejoice, you are all about to become children of Khaeus. Glorious sacrifices in the name of our grand conquest."

The Primarch reached out to those being slaughtered on the bridge, all that remained were dying men. He hoped his words would soothe them as they passed. But now, their duty was complete. Drek'ma used the Kraemonen to utilise the command console, turning the weapons of the orbital platform against the enemy.

"Sire, the deed is done. Their fleet will be in ruins momentarily. See yourself removed from the flagship in due time."
