Points of Interest: Scattered throughout and between the large pools of boiling blood are spires constructed from the bones of every conceivable species that had ever existed. Some are small crude piles of bone, while others are towering constructs rising far beyond the sight of men into the darkened endless void above the wastes.
Description: The endless expanse known as the Blood Waste is littered with pools of burning, bubbling blood that scalds flesh down to the bone in a matter of moments. Scattered heaps of bone and jagged rock act as natural (And unnatural) bridges across the expanses of blood that dominate the area. The sky that lingers above the waste is a black void tinted a blood scarlet by the occasional downpour of burning blood in lieu of any form of natural rain. While not as dangerous as the congealed pools of the blood, the blood rain is no less painful for the unlucky denizens of this foul realm.
Said denizens can be found aimlessly wandering the wastes, howling in eternal agony as the rain sears their flesh, and jagged rocks carve fissures into their flesh with every step. It is said that the wayward souls of this realm perpetually see a land of fresh water and tall grass just over the horizon of their sight, but no matter how many miles upon miles they trek in any direction they never get any closer to salvation.
