  • Notable Crewmembers:
    Command Staff:
AQUILA: The captain of the Behemoth II, AQUILA is a highly advanced and highly intelligence program built on the AXIOS artificial intelligence program developed for the Old Sith Empire's mightiest warships. In the years since he fell into Carnifex's services, AQUILA has developed his own distinct personality capitalized by his unwavering devotion to his organic master's agendas; his delight in carrying out atrocities bordering on sadistically gleeful.

[*]Support Staff:
  • Queen Gordana: Queen of the winged Vanr, Gordana has pledged her eternal service to the Sith Emperor after he saved her people from extinction at the hand of the Mandalorians. Though growing decrepit in her old age, she remains a fierce combatant and dedicated proponent of the Emperor's authoritarian policies.
  • Highlord Osbasid: The anointed leader of the brutal Blackblade Guard, Osbasid has served faithfully for many years following his predecessor's demise during the Core War between the One Sith and the Galactic Republic. Outfitted with dozens of strength-enhancing cybernetics, Osbasid is a ferocious force of nature in battle, which is only exemplified by his unwavering cruelty towards the enemies of his masters.
  • Major Tiamat: Considered by many to be Osbasid's strong right hand, Tiamat was taken in at an early age by the Sith and molded into a weapon worthy of their use. Resplendent in shiny chromium armor, she will stop at nothing to ensure that the Blackblade Guard secures its supremacy in the annals of history.
  • Odo Quiroga: The Emperor's Head Of Interrogation, Odo Quiroga is a cybernetic surgeon who finds immense pleasure in the dismemberment and dissection of other sentient creatures. When an individual needs to be broken physically and mentally, they are sent to the blood-stained halls of the Butcher's Nail himself.
  • Dr. Vitra Zyn: Once a member of the Lianna Institute for Advanced Medicine, Doctor Zyn's voracious hunger for exploration and experimentation lead her down many dark paths. She was expelled from the Institute for dabbling in forbidden research regarding necrotic reanimation and was recruited by the Sith Empire shortly after, her potential put to use to further their dark agenda.
  • Cristoff Dorn: Cristoff Dorn was the fifth son in a family who could trace its history back to the earliest days of the Galactic Empire, a proud lineage that he had no chance of inheriting due to his low station. Seeking power, Cristoff allied himself with the future Dark Lord of the Sith in eradicating his entire family until only he remained. Triumph, however, has soured in the years since, and now Cristoff serves the Dark Lord as little more than a slave.

[*]Accessibility: Being the Emperor's personal flagship, only the highest ranking officials of the Empire are allowed access to board the ship. The only other method of gaining entry is illegal infiltration or being personally summoned by the Emperor.
[*]Description: The Behemoth II is the culmination of thirty years of development and engineering carried out by the Sith Lord Kaine Zambrano and his closest allies. Measuring in at ten kilometers from prow to stern, the Behemoth II is one of the largest space-faring vessels to be constructed in the modern era. Equipped with the firepower of an entire planet, it was an exceptionally powerful foe in ship-to-ship combat. The vessel's heavy Impervium hull plating, strong shields, and anti-concussion field also made it possible to use the ship as a ramming device against virtually anything, destroying enemies through sheer impact force. Though the Behemoth II was a powerful warship in its own right, it was also designed as a psychological weapon. Its enormous size and black hull made for a powerful effect against enemies, and in battle, it handily demoralized the opposing forces. The vessel's resemblance to ancient naval ships further enhanced its fearsome image.

The interior of the Behemoth II was similar to that of other Sith-Imperial warships, thought it was also outfitted with repair facilities and docking bays reminiscent of those found on space stations. These stations were outfitted with molecular furnaces and automated construction modules, allowing the ship to produce its own starfighter complement without the need for supplying at planets or other fixed locations. The main hangar bay of the Behemoth II was located on the ventral hull towards the center of the vessel and was large enough to carry a cruiser six hundred meters or smaller.

This bay was reserved for the massive ground force complement that accompanied the Behemoth II wherever it traveled, while fighter bays were located on the aft section of the dreadnought. In practice, the Behemoth II held a complement of forty-one starfighter squadrons, comprised of two-hundred-and-fifty-six TIE Fighters, one-hundred-and-sixty TIE Interceptors, forty-eight TIE Bombers, forty Shadow Droids, and sixteen StarFortresses.

Its main command bridge sat upon a massive structure towards the rear of the ship and had access to displays allowing 360-degree views over everything around it. Though larger and more visible than most command towers, it was protected by hundreds of weapon emplacements arranged in concentric circles around the tower. The vessel had several war rooms suitable for high-level meetings of military and government officials with the Sith Emperor. Troop quarters were located near the bow, at the aft end of the keel-like structure.

For offensive weaponry, the Behemoth II was outfitted with 3720 point-defense weapons, 1607 turbolaser batteries, 580 missile tubes, 380 ion cannon batteries, 60 plasma railguns, 60 solar ionization cannons, 42 hypervelocity cannons, 10 orbital strike cannons, and a superlaser mounted along the spine of the ship, the equivalent of a planet's worth of weaponry. Other combat-oriented technologies included ten gravity well projectors, able to prevent enemy ships from entering hyperspace, a hundred tractor beams, and an enhanced shield system.

Though the Behemoth II was primarily designed for space combat, the vessel was geared for ground assaults as well. Every trooper on the Behemoth II, 140,000 in total, was specially selected. The soldiers on the vessel included a defense corps of 100,000 Gelian Sentinels and a division of 40,000 Blackblade Guardsmen. A cadre of 100 Crownguard served as the Emperor's personal guard. There were at least four military staging areas, each of which could accommodate a division of at least 20,000 troopers. Three prefabricated garrison bases and thousands of ground vehicles; repulsorlifts and military walkers, rounded out the Behemoth II's ground assault forces.

404,840 crew members were assigned to the vessel as well, including 2,385 gunners, though the ship could run with as few as 50,571 crew members. The majority of the crew were veterans of past galactic conflicts, fully indoctrinated into the Sith ideology of a chaotic galaxy requiring a strong, unflinching order to control it. The Behemoth II had a tonnage of 342,857 metric tons, consumables capable of lasting 5.7 years, and was entirely self-sufficient.

The ship's communications tower sat atop the bridge, its main communications array jutting from the top of command tower, and the long-range communications system extended downward from the prow. The communications systems on the Behemoth II were powerful enough to broadcast over all frequencies and drown out other signals. These systems were also used to monitor HoloNet traffic throughout the galaxy.

An array of eight drive engines on the Behemoth II's stern allowed the massive warship to trudge through the vacuum of space slowly, while the ship's hyperdrive was rated 0.5x.

The Behemoth II used active tracking equipment that allowed it to pursue its targets through hyperspace using a combination of technological advances and brute-force data crunching. The Tracking Control Complex, which was built into the prow of the Behemoth II to be as close to the long-range communication systems as possible, boasted the data-shifting power of a planetary intel hub, linking huge computer arrays to data banks loaded with centuries of combat reports and astrogation data. A static hyperspace field generated around the machines accelerated their processing power to unprecedented levels. A target's last known trajectory yielded trillions of potential destinations, but the system could assess these locations with terrifying speed.

POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Command Bridge: The command deck of the Behemoth II resembled other Imperial model warships with a single walkway bordered by sunken data pits to denote the hierarchy of authority. Large glasteel viewports and displays offered the bridge crew a 360-degree view of the surrounding superstructure and space around the dreadnought.
  • Emperor's Sanctum Bridge: Located deep in the heart of the Behemoth II was a sealed secondary bridge lined with holo-screens, control consoles, and other delicate instruments connected to every external sensor located on the dreadnought's hull. Manned solely by Tsudakyr, this bridge was entirely coordinated by AQUILA
  • The Overbridge: Situated over the superlaser emitter on the prow of the Behemoth II, the Overbridge serves as the firing control center for the dreadnought's central weapon. Protected by multiple layers of reinforced durasteel overlain by a protective layer of Impervium plating, the Overbridge is one of the most secure locations on the entire ship. For good reason as well, for the Overbridge serves a singular purpose in firing the superlaser at the discretion of the command bridge; as the command bridge itself does not possess the controls to fire the weapon.
  • Qabbrat: Hidden behind the Emperor's luxurious throne room was a chamber complete with a meditation sphere and a collection of Sith artifacts and override commands for the dreadnought's controls. The chamber also contained a HoloNet transceiver projection pod with a signal powerful enough to allow the Emperor to commune with his subjects across the galaxy.
  • Throne Room: The unofficial heart of the Behemoth II, the Emperor's throne room serves as the Empire's true seat of power. Situated over a vast pit of darkness, the octagonal platform is dominated by a massive throne constructed out of polished black iron laden with runic symbols and seething with the Dark Side of the Force. From here the Dark Lord of the Sith could coordinate every aspect of his vast Empire, meet with his subjects in person, and humble his chained enemies through intimidation and torture. A grav-lift can raise the throne up through a hidden shaft that leads right to the command bridge, allowing him easy access back and forth. When not in use, the shaft is blocked off by hundreds of meters of beskar.
  • Isotope-5 Reactors: Situated within the bowels of the Behemoth II are massive generators that convert Isotope-5 energy into highly volatile and destructive energy that is then channeled along reinforced energy conduits and focused through kyber crystal lenses. This energy is then condensed and fired out through the Behemoth II's prow in the form of a superlaser beam.
  • Ventral Hangar Bay: Reserved only for the disembarkation of ground troops and vehicles, the Ventral Hangar Bay is a massive cavernous hold located on the underbelly of the dreadnought. Large enough to fit a cruiser six hundred meters from end to end, the hangar could hold thousands of vehicles and their associated dropships, making the Behemoth II capable of invading entire star systems by itself.
  • Fighter Bays: Located near the aft end of the dreadnought are rows of fighter bays, packed to the brim with the Behemoth II's forty-one fighter squadrons. Connected to these hangars are a multitude of maintenance bays and assembly lines, allowing the Behemoth II to not only repair its fight complement but completely replace it should the need arise.
  • Tracking Control Complex: Buried deep in the Behemoth II is a complex dedicated to powering and maintaining the hyperspace tracking technology employed by the Sith Empire. Protected by Imperial Sentinels and Dark Side Adepts, the complex is thoroughly safeguarded against would-be saboteurs and other boarders.
  • Conference Rooms: Several rooms situated throughout the Behemoth II are dedicated to meetings between the upper echelons of the Sith Empire, primarily military officials and directorate bureaucrats convening with the Sith Emperor. The rooms are protected by multi-layer Impervium walls, ray shields, and a permanently stationed company of Gelian Sentinels.
  • Brig: The prison complex within the Behemoth II is almost as a large as a Star Destroyer, entrenched like roots in the bowels of the dastardly dreadnought. Only the most important prisoners are transferred to the Behemoth II, including but not limited to Jedi, traitors, political opponents, and captured heads of state.
  • Tram System: A ship as massive as the Behemoth II had not been seen in the modern era, and in order to better facilitate movement throughout the ship's interior a system of mag-powered trams and stations were built to allow the dreadnought's multiple defense legions to properly patrol the gargantuan warship.

INTERNAL DEFENSES
  • Please cut the size of the Imperial Sentinels. Set at Minor deployment, three full legions with a single mission isn't feasible. If you have another unit set at Mass deployment, that would be more appropriate.
  • Am I correct in my assessment that these defense legions are explicitly for the purpose of defending the ship? They are a part of the crew, not passengers on call for deployment elsewhere?

Clarified the wording better.

And by my estimation of Star Wars army sizes and the scale of star systems and sectors, the Sith Empire can field around fifty million soldiers to defend its vast holdings and to conquer new territory. The addition of around ten thousand soldiers from the Emperor's own private army, as well as an additional twenty thousand from the Imperial Legion, wouldn't be much in terms of the overall strength of the Sith Empire's military.

And yeah, their purpose is to defend the Empire's strongest warship and the Emperor's personal flagship.
