The Balmorran Offensive [TSE vs. FWC]

Alderaan, the bright beacon of hope for Republics throughout history, and now the capital of a Coalition of Free Worlds. For too long Alderaan had served as an affront to the Sith Empire, harboring enemies of the state and serving as an untouchable redoubt for pro-Republican corsairs to harry Imperial trade convoys moving between the neutral worlds just beyond the Coalition’s borders.

But no longer.

The tides had begun to shift, spies embedded within the Coalition’s territory spoke of opportunity. They had begun to stagnate, mired in complacency. The Coalition deigned to leave planetary defense up to its individual member-states, neglecting a national military in favor of planetary self-determination.

The Sith Empire held no such noble sentiments, its military was centralized and vast.

So the Sith Emperor and his villainous war council had drawn up plans to deliver a series of knockout blows to the ailing state. A tripartite strike at the Coalition’s most important planets, Alderaan, Kuat, and Balmorra.

A13ICV3.jpg
They would come without any warning. No mercy would be given to those on Balmorra as vessels came out of hyperspace and amassed over the sphere of Balmorra. From the reports of spies embedded within the Coalition, the time to strike was ripe. A loose confederacy of planets independent from any central authority, yet cooperating with each other had its pros and cons. A central army was one of its many disadvantages and with the current state of the Free Worlds Coalition it would only be a matter of time for someone to raid and pillage their worlds.

And that time had come now.

Invited to the Dark Lord’s war council, Vilaz Munin along with those that attended the council discussed over strategies and plans about what to do when they struck at the Coalition. Took several days to find and calculate the best efficient way to attack as they planned on unleashing their wrath on not just Alderaan, but to Kuat and Balmorra.

The latter the veteran Mandalorian would lead as Darth Carnifex appointed and blessed him with such command.

The Warlord’s forces was diverse with Mandalorian warriors, Imperial soldiers, and Sith Knights. He had promised his clansmen the glory of war as he and Dark Lord were firm allies. Now he had delivered them that promise and they were off to paint Balmorra in blood and in destruction.

No doubt were alarms sounding off, alerting the defenders of the massive invasion force that looked down above from the heavens. But the Munin also made sure to have everyone at the ready as swarm of fighters came out from the hangars along with assault transports containing infantry, vehicles, and artillery would be delivered to the earth. Artillery and vehicles would be delivered on the outskirts of Bin Prime, the capital of Balmorra, where the defenses wouldn’t compromise them. Daring troops would try to land within the city limits of Bin Prime or near it. Other soldiers that were more relaxed and passive and join with the assault vehicles.

Vilaz rode with his elite warriors within the comforts of Bin Prime, testing his luck and chances. He had desires to attack and burn the worlds of the Free Worlds Coalition for personal reasons.

And now he would, and he’d made sure to leave behind him ashes and corpses.

ORBIT | STEAL DROID FOUNDRY PLANS

The Free Worlds Coalition? Fett had no gripes with them, and thus nothing was personal- only business. Yet then again, it always was. It took a lot for a man such as himself to make something a personal endeavour. Contractual obligations had brought Koda to the planet of Balmorra. Two contracts, actually. One from the Empire itself, whilst another from Darth Excidium. One to participate, and another to perform something a little more... special, if not personal. The Droid Foundry had plans that were desired, and what better man than the best bounty hunter the galaxy had to offer?

It was a somewhat uneasy feeling being aboard a Munin Vessel. Whilst both Clan Munin and Clan Fett had deserted the Mandalorian Empire, the events that transpired left a rather deep animosity between the two, especially when it came to Koda Fett. Fett was looked upon with glances of hatred, disgust, and perhaps a snippet of fear. Rightfully so. If Fett was anything it was a feared man. His T-Shaped Visor only stared back. The Bounty Hunter cared not for petty rivalries right now, only about the almighty credit that was soon about to be bestowed upon him.

The Mandalorian stood with both arms crossed over his armoured chest, red atop a green. The black of visor reflecting the chaos that unfolded before him. A blaster carbine slung over his shoulder, a blaster pistol holstered on his hip, a flamethrower, missile, whipcord, dart launcher, blaster rest within his gauntlets. Each weapon capable of being used to it's fullest extent. Fett was most definitely a dangerous man.

BALMORRA

Outskirts of Bin Prime
The small transport known as the Ruin descended through atmosphere, using the focus of the large invading fleet overhead to effectively hide in plain sight. The piloting droid, Fee-Too, ensured to maintain a safe distance from the convergence of attacking craft, if only to avoid unwanted attention initially. As the ship touched down, landing struts planting firmly in soft ground, the ramp lowered and allowed the occupant to exit. Draped in a flowing hood and cloak, Darth Excidium stood out in his dark attire compared to the relatively terrestrial surroundings. Not wanting to waste time, knowing he only had a handful of minutes before considerable force was raised to repel the attackers, the Sith Lord began marching toward the capital of Balmorra, Bin Prime.

The purpose of Excidium's presence was simple enough; he had two objectives, which involved disrupting the droid factory yonder, and to confront a specific individual. The first would prove to be simple enough, considering it was wanton destruction. The latter would prove more difficult, given that the Sith Lord had to locate his prey within the confinement of a city, while it was under attack no less. Still, there was nothing gained from effort, contrary to what many uninformed individuals said about the Dark Side...

"Follow my location, droid," Excidium said into the comm on his wrist, as he held a gloved hand up to his mouth, speaking to the pilot of his transport. "Be ready to travel to me when I give the signal."

Moving through patches of grass and dirt, stepping over debris from nature that surrounded him, Excidium thought about the confrontation to come. He was looking forward to it, finally having a chance to see what [member="Ra'a'mah"] was capable of. There had been less combative meetings in the past, of course, but now things would finally be revealed that had otherwise been unknown - and if was one thing Excidium enjoyed, it was gaining new knowledge and information.

Above, the attack craft began landing in earnest, clearly intent on impressing the Dark Lord of the Sith. It was amusing, really, watching as the plebs raced eagerly to death for an honor they would never feel, from a leader that didn't know their names. Still, without that kind of simplistic thinking, there wouldn't be many willing to attack planets in the name of the Sith, so it was a necessary aspect of the churning machine, really. Nonetheless, Excidium had his own tasks and goals to achieve, and pondering over the feasibility of the attacking forces wasn't going to quicken his steps...

I suspect the bounty hunter is nearby, also, Excidium thought to himself as he glanced down to the comm. He has my frequency, if we don't convene prior.

Bad Moon Rising.

Ishana would be the first to admit that growing up on Balmorra wasn't all that glittered. It would never be Coruscant, it would never be Corellia even after it's cataclysm. It would always be Balmorra, the factory world - Balmorra the Wartorn. To this day the planet's inhabitants were often split and when the Free Worlds came knocking no one really blinked or battered an eyelash of worry. But today? Today was different. She looked to her left and then to her right, Kaalia was with her on one side and the other? Emptiness.

She reached out for the small comms device Kaalia handed her, the first one she called was her mom. Of course, her mother was stubborn, yes but Ishana knew Munin by reputation alone. And that reputation wasn't a good one, they stood to lose their lands yes - but Ishana would rather lose their lands than her family. It would be no easy feat to move the large family out of their ancestral homes but it seemed they would not get a chance. Lest they suffer the same fate as their ancestors when the Republic and Empire fought over it.

The couple rode the trams alone, Greater Sobrik's alarms of warning - get in deep or leave, preferably leave. "She's not listening," Ishana's face was drained of color as she handed the comms back. "I talked to dad maybe he can convince her, they're getting gramps now." Panick struck, if her mother was too stubborn, Heavens Ishana didn't want to think of what would happen. All the worst scenarios ran through her mind and instinctively she reached for her wife's hand. They needed to be level headed about this, "and you're sure we can get them out?" Not that she doubted her wife's words, she doubted the words of those who employed her. If working for the First Order had taught Ishana anything? Trust wasn't an easy commodity to come by.

Darkness swarmed the Balmorran skies. Combined Imperial-Mandalorian forces blotted out the light as they moved to Bin Prime.

With luck, Bin Prime could give them just enough time to get everyone out.

The situation at hand left Kaalia with mixed feelings at best. Although the downfall of the Free Worlds Coalition would mean the elimination of an enemy, but now that campaign had become too personal. It was for that reason that she did not arrive to Balmorra as Darth Avacyn- unlike how it normally was she did not come here to aid in the attack of the Sith Empire but had another objective, one that was far more important to her. Family lived on Balmorra and there was absolutely nothing that could stop Kaalia from keeping them safe. Despite that she could do nothing but share the nerves her wife showed. However, if given no choice, Avacyn's face would show to do what was necessary.

It was for that reason Kaalia had brought along her pair of lightsabers, concealed within her coat. Balmorra was now a warzone and being unarmed would be the last thing she wanted to have happen. She actively kept her breathing steady, keeping the whirlwind of emotion that swirled around her in a tight grip but always within reach. Imperial forces would most certainly back away at her command but any other being that would threaten any kind of harm would get no mercy.

"People under my direct command have a ship ready and waiting. It's not far and everyone can leave the moment we get there" Kaalia replied as she turned her head towards Ishana. "And no matter what they decide, I will let nothing happen to them." She slightly squeezed her love's hand to reassure her, the redhead's tone making it very clear there was no doubt in her mind. "Hopefully she can be convinced. Your dad is a wise man, he will find a way."

When Chekita heard she would be on protection duty she had thought it would involve some high priority senator, perhaps one of the Organa family members, no what she had gotten was much more important. Keeping the foundry plans safe from the Sith Empire who had just launched a huge assault on FWC space, yer like that will help their public image as peace keeping restoring order to the galaxy, 'hmmm, i wonder what the death toll will be this time, maybe a few billion'? What ever the case it seemed most of the Sith forces where concentrated on the capital and Kuat, but still intelligence reports had stated the enemy had diverted some military presence to this world, in what form she did not know, made things more interesting either way.

Donned in a black cammo variant of the battle master armor with a skull insignia over the face plate, just the usual everyday get up, a heavy revolver on side, carbine rifle and the array of smaller gadgets on hand. More than that the Mando held the home turf, knowing the in's and out's of this place, memorizing them to almost to almost the finest of detail, a little skill one picked up while in the body guard business. No all there was to do was wait until some nosy Sith or mercenary came by, the anticipation gnawing at Chekita's nerves, it being far too long since her last proper fight. Heck if she was able to repel the attempt on here there may be enough time to zip on over to Alderan, that was if the Sith froces had not already been decimated.

Her situation was tricky if there was a need to communicate with the sith. Her position and role within the Coalition prevented her from openly showing what her alignment was. Ra was a secret sith lord, but was estranged of that empire. However, she had a few contacts and connections that weren't estranged from them. Being an assassin alone was enough, but there was newer group that had recently made its appearance she had joined the ranks of.

The Dark Magus. She had explained to [member="Darth Excidium"] her situation with of being estranged and how she had to keep a cover on what she was. With this knowledge, they would need to find alternate methods of meeting up if they had to take place within the territory of the Coalition.

She had reason to be on Balmorra the day the fighting started. This was a surprise to her. Not being a part of the Sith Empire had benefits, but there were drawbacks too. This was the case with almost everything though. The good must be taken with the bad and when she heard of the incoming force of attackers, she knew she would quickly have to finish what she was doing and meet up with the bounty hunter sent to collect her and take her to Excidium for a meeting.

Many years ago, Ra had collected the plans to creating Dark Troopers and kept those troops hidden on Helska IV where the facility was to produce them. In her time with the Coalition now though, she had learned of the Balmorran Arms Factory. What plans it might have interested her. Another factory and facility that had the ability to create arms and armies.

The Coalition lacked a standing army and now this was being exploited by the sith and their allies. Narrowing her eyes, she wondered what had brought this invasion on. Not for the first time, she was glad to not be a part of that great and vast empire. However, it might make her an enemy of the state. She didn't think that was the case though. What were they doing here?

Luckily the vast invading force was focused more on the capital city and not a single facility that was out on the Sundari Plains.

The small team of operatives were standing on a hill with a clear view of the Balmorran Arms Factory, their menacing black armour concealed by sophisticated camouflage cloaks. The Lieutenant finished his holocall and turned towards his four men, as they snapped to attention. "The invasion is proceeding as planned, all necessary information has been relayed." He was pleased everything was going according to plan, but then again, he expected nothing less from the well-oiled military machine of the Sith Empire.

They had arrived planetside in a reflec-coated drop pod concealed as a malfunctioning cargo pod a few days ago and had, after making sure that the pod detonated properly to remove any evidence of their insertion, made their way to the factory and commenced their scouting mission. The factory was well defended, of course, but that was only expected for a facility of its magnitude and importance. Something made him slightly uneasy though, perhaps there was slightly more security than usual, perhaps it was merely the importance of the operation.

Ordering a final equipment check, including the camouflaged speeders hidden nearby, the Lieutenant resumed his observation of the factory. His orders were to observe only, but things didn't always go according to plan. If [member="Darth Excidium"] needed his assistance, then his team would be ready. Besides, they were no mere scouts; he was confident they had been sent in place of the regular milksops in order to provide fire support if necessary. Of course, his orders had been phrased in such a manner as to avoid bruising the Sith's ego, but then again they always were. It never ceased to amaze him how the Sith, despite their indisputable power, had such fragile egos. That didn't mean he didn't greatly respect them, he very much did, it just meant that one had to account for the things left unsaid when they were around.

"Thanks," she gave Kaalia a small smile. They had left the tram station and had rented a speeder probably the last one as the even the droid manning the station headed off to safety. Sirens continued to blare, and what had once been a small community of farmers with their vineyards and groves. A trickle of fear began to crawl through her body, and she shivered at the thought of what would become her home when it was all said and done. The pilot's hand slid over the handlebars of the speeder. Heaven knew how many times she'd taken this route, and heaven only knew what the outcome of this day would be. The darkened clouds that followed after the Sith-Imperial forces felt as unfavorable as the wayward winds across the seas.

Part of her took comfort in the fact that her wife had the authority to ensure that their family would be evacuated. The other part? The other part just worried that her family would be too stubborn to leave. And if they didn't, who could blame them? Generation after generation they had lived and worked these lands, only to be driven out by Sith-Imperial forces? As if that wouldn't push her already pro-Republic family into the next great big 'Republic' arms. Ishana guided the speeder past the trees and the cobblestone roads and fences. The way the Groves curved into a deep valley and you could see the dairy farms with their livestock on the hilltops on most days, but not today.

Not so long ago, Ishana had brought Kaalia here where she told her wife about the days of racing speeders across Sundari and to Markaran.

The Sundari Groves, where what had once been filled with factories and craters of crashed ships and the infamous anti-orbital cannons. All now rested with the scars of the centuries that had since passed. In place of the factories now were the aforementioned vineyards, and groves - where once had rested those downed ships of old were now silos and barns. And where the anti-orbital cannon had been now sat as a reminder of what had happened on this day. The former flatlands surrounding the groves still held the vicious scars from the ancient wars. Although now it had all been grown over, but one thing that had not succumbed to the hands of time. 'Droid Graveyard,' is what Ishana always called them but they were the ancient Droid factories, mostly held old ghost stories and boogeymen like creatures to keep the kids in line.

It was over by the Markaran Plains, opposite side of the country but even now. Ishana wondered just how ancient and decayed it really was, and if the invaders would make use of them today. The rest of the ride to her family's estate was uneventful of which the Balmorran was glad. "Mama!" Ishana shouted as she began to cross the estate. Loose gravel and dirt made most of the 'paved' portion of her family's land. "Mama!" She called again, "mama!"

"Mimi!" Daveeq called to his daughter, "we are here!"

She turned to see her father calling from their cellar. Ishana turned to her wife and waited until she could hold her hand before setting off for the cellar. "Here, here down here." He motioned for them to head down while he locked the cellar doors behind them. Ishana's hands held the old wooden railing as she stepped down and sighed with relief to see her grandparents, parents, and siblings all huddled together. "Mama," she rushed to the older woman's side and gave her a hug.

"Yasmirah, my Yasmi," her mother returned the hug, "and Kaalia, it is a welcomed sight to see both of your faces."

With her arms clasped tightly around Ishana's waist Kaalia sat on the back of the speeder as it shot through the landscape, retracing the landmarks she had seen the last time she had visited the planet. It was likely that soon most of those places would be gone, in whatever way it would happen. Perhaps they could not be saved, but if she had to, she would protect the Pavanos estate by any means necessary. If Balmorra was going to burn, the fires were going to keep clear. Things would be rebuilt, it had happened before and was going to happen again, but her family would be spared the grief.

Kaalia hopped off the speeder the moment it came to a standstill, booted feet causing the gravel beneath them to crunch. While Ishana called out for her mother she herself remained silent, taking the moment to reach out to the Force to make sure that when the battle got too close, she was prepared. There was a certain sense of urgency in her pace but still did not hesitate to take her wife's hand before setting off towards the cellar. The silence was not yet broken when the two were let in, instead flashing Daveeq a smile and nodding in greeting.

When the brunette rushed toward her mother Kaalia stayed back and watched, the sight giving her yet another reminder why she was going to raise hell to protect what was perhaps not family by blood, but just as much family as her own parents. "I just wish it was under better circumstances," she replied with a slightly saddened tone. "But it is good to see you all. Is everybody alright?"

PLANETSIDE, DROID FOUNDARY | STEAL DROID FOUNDRY PLANS

The Great Galactic War ravaged the Core Worlds, and as soon to see the end of the Free World's Coalition at the behest of the Dark Lord of the Sith. An individual Fett had not encountered, and didn't particularly share an eagerness to meet. Stereotypically, you simply could not trust a Sith and Koda was often one to cast blanket statements and generalisations. The Emperor of the Sith, however? The Bounty Hunter would much prefer to keep him at two arms length rather than one, despite the ludicrous amount of credits the man was being paid to fight their wars.

Time had passed and the Mandalorian no longer stood aboard the Munin Vessel, and instead found himself on the ground. In the process of infiltrating the Droid Foundry, the exterior defences not holding up to the seasoned hunter and his lethal intent. A series of advanced equipment allowed Fett to enter the facility, and from there he crept about. Intent on reaching a control centre, retrieving the plans before advancing onto the secondary objective.

Although, tasks like this were never all that easy now were they?

Her time with the Metal Lords had given Ra some knowledge on slicing into systems. However, Balmorra was a world she had every right to be and all she had to do was request the information. No need for her to sneak around or steal what she was looking for. This also left it fully intact for others to come by and take it from the Coalition.

Requesting what plans they had from the past as well as present, Ra paced the office space of the man charge of the factory. His name she was told is Kelan Fayar. Right now he seemed distracted dealing with deployment of the goods they had and sent one of his aides to get for her the information she requested. The reason she gave was a logical one and not one that would raise questions from somebody that might be looking into her activities. If record was kept, she was seeking upgrades for the droids she used to help man her merchant fleet.

The aide returned with the data for her and she was on her way. Leaving the factory, Ra had not an idea anybody out there observing the comings and goings of the people. If she had a greater military mind, she would have thought of it, but she didn't. Just something she would have to work on once she realized her weakness.

"I wish it were under better circumstances as well, Kaalia." Mama Pavanos responded, "and we are all right physically but our spirits."

Ishana took in a breath and exhaled, "but we're all here?"

"Yes," Daveeq answered, and moved out of the way as Ishana started to get a headcount while giving each member of her family a hug. The Pavanos Estate had been the Sinope Estate, inherited by Daveeq's wife Aalicya. They grew olive-like fruits which they then turned into oils or sold as they were to their high-end customers. Daveeq moved to speak with his daughter-in-law. "Tell me, Kaalia and be honest with me, how much will we lose?" In his voice, there was a sadness and his eyes there were hints that he was prepared to hear the worst. The sounds of the Sith-Imperial forces landing on the Sundari Plains could be heard.

"Ali, Dal help me with grandma and grampa." Ishana called to her two sisters, "babe where's the ship again?"

Ishantos rose to his feet and took his wife by the hand, "come darling."

"Why are we leaving?" She asked him again, "this is our home, Ishantos."

"I know Adena, I know but we must go."

"No, I will not. I will not leave my home, I will die here if I have to," she refused, "I am not afraid of these men and women, I am a Balmorran!"

Ishana's heart sank and it was a wonder where the Pavanos women of her generation got their stubbornness, of course, they all jokingly said their mother but the truth was right in front of them, Adena Sinope their maternal grandmother had been the true source of this. "Grandma, please we can come back we are just going for a little bit," Aaliyah pleaded. "It is good to be proud of where we come from, but we are no match for these armies."

"Ma, c'mon," Ishantos the Second echoed his niece's plea.

As the oldest daughter, Aalicya took her mother's hand. "Mama please, we must go."

"No, no this is my home, I will not." The elder woman's voice shook, "I will not."

[SIZE=9pt]Well whoever just knocked on their door did it quite hard, many of the automated [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]defences[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] outside the complex now messed up, sure made mister arsenal look tough, but it also gave Chekita and idea of what this individual was like. Approaching Balmorran Arms Factory,
Sundari Plains
While making his way to the city, Excidium knew he had to find a method of reaching the more distant Sundari Plains. Not wanting to be flown in a mere transport above a battle, despite the skill of the droid pilot, the Sith Lord instead preferred to borrow a speeder. Such as it was, when the small vehicle was procured and the individual sent back into it's home with a strong suggestion and activation of lightsaber. Now, skirting the enemy combatants, avoiding as much of the military operations as possible, Excidium began making his way to the Balmorran Arms Factory; and once there, he would be able to meet with Ra'a'mah and put the plan they had into place. The ability to maintain public separation from the Sith was integral to Ra's operations, and Excidium was more than willing to go to lengths to assist in maintaining that facade.

It took several small detours to avoid enemy troops, and given the vehicle the Sith used, he doubted he would garner a second glance with the Sith-Mandalorian forces a ways off.

Before long, Excidium pulled up near the factory itself. There was clearly some confrontation evident, judging by the damage and defeated enemies around. Perhaps the bounty hunter had arrived earlier than expected, given his reputation and capacity for overcoming odds, both of which seemed to be a factor presently. Nonetheless, it made Excidium's job easier, and as he exited the speeder, the Sith Lord pulled up his hood to conceal his face, before walking pointedly toward the factory itself...

However, the Sith could't shake the feeling he was being watched. And while the sensation wasn't dangerous to himself, it was still evident, if subtle.

Deciding to keep the thought in the back of his mind, Excidium continued his trek, having parked the speeder some distance away behind a hill, so as to avoid stumbling into any sort of enemy forces unwittingly. It wouldn't do to drive straight into a defense force protecting the factory, as even with Ra's knowledge of the plan, she could be hard-pressed to leave the structure undefended simply with her say so. Chances were there was enemy presence, but hopefully it was limited, as soon it would be dealt with to maintain the secret between the two Sith Lords...

First, the Mandalorian had arrived, being as disruptive as one would expect, even activating the Factory's electronic countermeasures, rendering all but the most sophisticated short-range communications systems inoperable. Then, the Free Worlds Coalition's head of state had shown up from inside the factory. He had checked. Then double-checked. It was either her or a strangely placed body double, either way, it was something he would normally have relayed directly to Command. Finally, as a last spark of sanity in this mess of an operation, the Sith had arrived as he was supposed to. On a civilian speeder. A speeder he then left behind in order to walk, alone, across the plains towards the factory. The Lieutenant was not normally one to question his orders, but this was spinning out of control quickly. A firm hand would be needed to wrest the situation back under control.

"Zerek Three, stay here. Maintain visibility on the Factory exit and give us half an hour to extract the enemy VIP. After that, or if she moves to vacate the premises without us, you are to terminate her." The sniper nodded and began to set up his STA Gewehr with its bipod. "Zerek One and Four, approach from the rear, Zerek Two, with me. The extraction of the VIP and the security of the Darth takes priority over the original objectives, but if both are possible then I expect nothing less. Move out." Moving with the calculated precision of experienced soldiers, they left nothing to chance, nor did they stall deployment. After a quick equipment check, they left the hill by means of their camouflaged speeders, moving as close as possible to their respective targets before leaving their speeders behind and proceeding on foot. As reflec-coated boots moved soundlessly across the grass and the camouflage cloaks covering their armour adopted the colour of the horizon behind them, the Lieutenant suppressed the feeling of annoyance at having been forced to divert from his orders. He had a feeling he would need to be fully focused for what was to come.

PLANETSIDE, DROID FOUNDRY | STEAL DROID FOUNDRY PLANS

A moment of reprieve had been offered, the commotion calming for but moment. The flesh of the recently deceased continued to sear from the heat, ventilated and emitting steam- much like the carbine in Fett's grip. Commotion had definitely been created, and more were going to be attracted soon enough. As a result, there wasn't much time to gather his bearings and pin-point his approximate location within the Foundry.

It soon faded, however. The encroaching sound of rapid footsteps came his way, unsure of the exact location or who the person was. The Bounty Hunter temporarily removed his right hand's grip from the carbine, using it to press a singular button upon his left gauntlet. A pulse scan emitting from his helmet, placing an outline on everything within it's range- even through solid walls. Fett knew she was coming.

The Mandalorian positioned himself behind a low piece of cover, his blaster trained on the area Chekita approached from. It was always better to be prepared, no matter who you were.

I'm smiling, this should scare you
Location: Droid Factory
Objective: Protect Droid Foundry Plans
Opponents: [member="Koda Fett"] [member="Darren Quinn"]
Allies: Ra

Coming closer to the corner Chekita stopped her advance, no one in their right mind would be silly enough to go guns blazing against such a well armed and very obviously gun ho target. Seemed the man had fun taking out the stations staff and personal along the way, the delightful smell of burn corpses wafting it's way through her armors respirator, 'ahh what a nice scent, still shut it off lest muster char-grill has some gas grenades up their sleeves". Switching on her suit filtration system she decided to make the first move, though not in a way that one would think, well unless the man was a bouncing enthusiast.

Taking her high caliber pistol she aimed around the corner, firing off several shots wildly into the steel frame work, the high but not armor piecing round bouncing off the walls and through the hall way, not a clean way to clear a corner, but it was fun. Next step would be confirming any enemies around the corner, Chekita rolling out of cover in a rather flamboyant manner, but not stooping, no the woman kept her role until the other side of the room taking cover at the next corner, "oh what fun, someone has come to play".

Location: Outside the Balmorran Arms Factory, Sundari Plains

She knew of the upcoming meeting with Excidium and looked forward to it. To maintain her cover, they would need to have some sort of spar. The eventual outcome would have her be captured by Koda and that bounty placed on her turned in. She wouldn't be seen conversing or leaving in the company of a sith. So the plan was to exchange a few blows in a mock confrontation and move on to getting captured. However, a new player was on the field that would have to dealt with first.

There were a few details wrong with who he thought she was and the role she played within the Coalition. Ra didn't have any political power, however she wasn't powerless. She lead the merchant fleet for them, so controlled the flow of goods to and from these worlds. The loss of her would pose a challenge in getting those good transported. As these attacks happened across Coalition space, that flow would be needed to recover from them.

Ra was a trained assassin though and was familiar enough with what was used to accomplish certain things. Giving no sign of her knowledge, she did not visibly react to noticing the advance of these new and unexpected people. There was a chance they weren't after her. Somehow she doubted that though.

The unmistakable sounds of conflict were around her now, but there was nothing she could logically do to help or hinder those involved. Unless they got in her way of accomplishing what she was here for. That line of thought brought her attention back on those approaching her. Excidium's arrival happened at almost the same time. Were they perhaps working together? Betrayal was common among sith, but Ra didn't think he would do that. At least not this early in things. What they had planned out hadn't yet come about and both of them still needed the other.

Soon it was clear these new people were indeed coming in her direction and not heading for the factory. They would have to turned away or dealt with. Stopping, it would be clear she knew they were there and Ra waited for what was going to happen. What was uncertain was who would meet her first. Going off the lay of the ground, it seem Excidium would be along for their confrontation first.

The Bounty Hunter remained pressed against the low wall, his weight shifted upon it. The Carbine held firmly within his grip trained against the open area ahead of him- the only feasible entry point, and the location of his would-be adversary. Fett continuously activated his scanning pulses, allowing him to track Chekita's every movement with ease. Even when she approached the edge of the hallway, blind firing and rolling. Each movement coming as no surprise, predictable to a degree.

Fett's finger slammed down upon the trigger with aggression, releasing several blaster bolts at a high rate of fire with deadly accuracy. With exceptional training and all too much experience, Fett became a one-man army- or so the intentions of his creation was all those years ago. Bolts were sent back his way, but the inaccuracy of the blind fire proved ineffective against the Mandalorian. Koda anticipated quick movement on behalf of the Awaud, but if she hunkered down a missile was certainly going to find it's way there with time.

For now, however, Fett remained unmoving with a weapon trained on her location.
