R E S O L V E
The galaxy had spent weeks waiting for the next blow.
Since the Sith Order's devastating strike against New Cov, the frontier had become a battlefield without a front. Warships vanished into hyperspace, only to emerge somewhere else along the Blackwall. Border outposts reported fleeting contacts, convoys disappeared, listening stations went dark, and raiding forces struck isolated systems before melting back into the unknown, leaving behind burning installations, shattered defenses, and a hundred conflicting reports. No two attacks looked the same, yet together they formed a pattern no strategist could quite decipher.
Some believed the Sith were testing the Republic's response times. Others argued they were searching for weaknesses in the Blackwall itself.
Every alarm forced another fleet to redeploy, and every distress call forced commanders to divide their attention across an ever-expanding frontier as cries from the Senate demanded more resources to strengthen the Republic’s defenses. Whether by design or coincidence, the Republic found itself responding to crises instead of dictating the pace of the conflict, never certain whether the latest engagement was the true objective or merely another diversion as attention was split between the Sith Empire and the Covenant's Core world raids.
Then the waiting ended.
The next strike did not fall upon an isolated colony or forgotten frontier world.
It fell upon Thyferra.
As the beating heart of the galaxy's bacta production and trade, few worlds rivaled Thyferra's strategic importance. The High Republic's control of the planet ensured a steady flow of the healing substance that sustained its citizens, restored wounded soldiers, and kept fleets fighting across known space. Every shipment that departed its refineries represented lives saved somewhere else in the galaxy. To seize Thyferra was not merely to capture another Republic world. It was to threaten one of the Republic's greatest strategic advantages while placing one of the galaxy's most indispensable resources within Sith hands.
Without warning, hyperspace ruptured above the planet as Sith warships poured from the Blackwall in numbers unseen since the conflict began, sending a wave of alarms and alerts throughout the system. Wave after wave of cruisers, carriers, transports, and escorts flooded into the system, blotting out the stars as invasion fleets descended toward the surface. In that instant, the weeks of scattered raids and probing attacks revealed their true purpose. Every feint, every diversion, and every seemingly isolated engagement had helped create the opportunity for this assault.
Now the fate of Thyferra hangs in the balance.
Above the planet, fleets wage war for control of the system while, below, Sith armies descend upon population centers, refineries, and the vast bacta facilities that have become the lifeblood of the High Republic. Every kilometer gained or lost carries consequences that will echo far beyond Thyferra itself, for the battle is no longer simply over territory. It is over the resource that has saved countless lives throughout the galaxy and may yet determine how many more survive the war to come.
The Battle of Thyferra has begun.
As Sith and Republic forces transform Thyferra's sprawling Alazhi farms into bloody battlefields, the refineries and factories responsible for producing the galaxy's supply of Bacta have become some of the most fiercely contested locations on the planet. Every processing facility is now a fortress under siege as Republic defenders struggle to hold the line against relentless Sith assaults.
Yet the Sith objective extends beyond simply capturing these vital installations.
Strike teams and entire battle groups have begun forcing their way into the refineries while transporting large, sealed containers under heavy guard. Rather than withdrawing stores of Bacta, the invaders appear intent on delivering these mysterious cargoes into the heart of the production facilities, suggesting a purpose far more calculated than simple conquest.
Republic soldiers, Jedi, and local security forces race to intercept these incursions before the containers reach the refining systems, while Sith forces fight to secure corridors, breach defensive positions, and ensure their cargo reaches its destination.
Will you stand among the defenders desperately holding each refinery against impossible odds, or carve a path through the resistance to see the Sith's mission fulfilled? Every corridor secured, every shipment intercepted, and every factory won or lost will shape the fate of Thyferra's most precious resource.
Above Thyferra, the war is not fought solely between warships as High Republic Command rallies to coordinate a unified defense of the system against the enemy forces threatening to overwhelm it.
Several transport freighters, only recently loaded with freshly refined Bacta, remain trapped in low orbit as the invasion engulfs the system. The largest of these vessels carries enough Bacta to sustain an entire sector through a month of unrelenting warfare, while several smaller transports hold cargoes valuable enough to alter the course of countless battles yet to come.
Neither side can afford to destroy them.
Instead, the freighters have become the center of desperate boarding operations as Sith strike teams, Republic defenders, marines, commandos, and security forces fight deck by deck for control of the vessels. Around them, capital ships and fighter squadrons wage careful engagements, attempting to protect or seize the transports without reducing their priceless cargo to burning wreckage.
Every corridor, cargo bay, engineering section, and bridge has become its own battlefield. Some seek to escort the freighters to safety. Others intend to claim the shipments for the Sith war machine. A single transport secured or lost could determine how long entire campaigns continue across the galaxy.
Participants are encouraged to take part in boarding actions, starfighter escorts, marine assaults, security operations, and limited fleet engagements centered around the Bacta transports. Whether fighting through the cramped interior of a freighter or battling in the void just beyond its hull, your actions may decide who controls the galaxy's most valuable resource before these ships ever leave Thyferra's orbit.
