STRENGTH
  • Moderate Defenses: The Gravus' true strength lies in its ability to keep its occupants safe and secure even in the middle of a dogfight. Thick armor plating and powerful deflector shields allow the shuttle to shrug off plenty of hits.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lack of Versatility: The shuttle only has one purpose, and that is to transport noticeable officers and Sith of the Sith Empire from point A to point B. It's not a gunship or anything of the like and is ultimately lackluster in any sort of confrontation.
DESCRIPTION

The Gravus-class Imperial Shuttle was designed by the Sith Empire's Ministry of Logistics and was inspired by both Imperial and Sith shuttle designs dating across the centuries of galactic history. The main fuselage of the shuttle was narrow and wide, ending in a sharp point at the prow while flattening out into a wide bank of ion engines at the rear. Two adjustable wings were attached to each side, which would be locked in the forward position during flight and then rotate up until each wing was completely vertical from tip to end when landing. These wings would aid in stabilizing the ship as it landed alongside two landing gears which extended from the ventral hull of the shuttle, while occupants would enter and exit the shuttle from a single disembarkation ramp between both landing gear.
Twenty passengers could be fit comfortably into the Gravus' compartments, with a larger primary guest suite connecting to smaller suites near the rear of the vessel. The Gravus could be piloted by a single individual, though most Gravus in the Empire's service held a permanent crew of three; a pilot, co-pilot, and communications officer. The internal cargo storage could carry up to eighty metric tons of material. The shuttle's weapon complement included two medium dual laser cannons affixed to either side of the cockpit, which could independently rotate 360°. Two light laser cannons were mounted in the shuttle's wingtips, one at each end of the wing, and were only effective during flight mode.
The Gravus' sleek profile and dominating presence allowed it to become a fixture of power and authority across the Empire, as the Empire's authority figures in both the civil administration and the military utilized the Gravus as their personal transport.
