“It’s about dang time someone smacked that fool girl out of her own mind.” Ambrose growled, rushing around the burned up outpost to fortify the position by Yasha’s new Warmaster. He saw the tag-along Verd girl go down, and for a second, Ambrose wished she’d stay that way.

“Cade! Move your squad to the warehouse!” Ribcage still. Firing on the pirates attempting to fortify a warehouse not far off, where thermals are bringing up a firefight inside.

“Why’d you bring the verd’goten-bait, Warmaster!? I thought you were smart!” Ambrose roared, firing over another placement knocking heavy fire on our troops.

“‘Cause Asha hangs off him like a Shriek-Hawk in mating season, Ambrose. DOWN GET DOWN!![member="Ginnie Dib"] rushed from a troop transport, shouldered a rocket launcher, aimed and fired. The rocket shell whizz-popped and exploded into a tank, a second explosion knocking the tank into one of its’ brothers.

Tossing the rocket launcher, Ginnie yanked her blaster rifle from her back webbing and fired into the enemy position, retreating to put her back against a crumbling barricade.

“The feth’re you doing, Asha? Come out for walkies? Either fire your karking gun or get out! You’re going to get Alkor killed by hanging off him like a bad date. Smarten up, or go back to the ship!” Ginnie snapped. Mere days since the birth of her twins, Ginnie was nowhere near ‘medically cleared’ to enter a battle zone. The truth was, if [member="Keira Verd"] caught Ginnie firing rocket launchers and leaving two less than week-old neonates on the Infernal, Ginnie would be in more trouble than Asha.

But that was the point. Asha shouldn’t have been there. Glaring at her brother from under her buy’ce, Ginnie wondered what possessed him to bring her along in the first place. Maybe it was a teaching moment, maybe she hung off him like a leech.

“Have you even had a Verd’goten, Ash? What did you think we did, when we went off and came back with scuffs on our gear? What is it you think Alkor does, when he sends home those payments? Get off the fething ground! Use your HUD to target, and fire!”

The world was red, and the screaming of her HUD was not helping. She had been over this sort of thing a million times, and she had done her Verd'goten. For Asha, this was one of a handful of times she had ever seen conflict that was not a hunt. Her role had always been one of support, and she had never fought alongside the Frontline combatants. In many ways, the dream was over and the nightmare had begun.

"She's going to fight," Alkor told both [member="Ambrose Cadera"] and [member="Ginnie Dib"] calmly. "I don't care if I have to drag her back half dead. She is going to learn this lesson."

There were a thousand snarky comments she could have made, but Asha could not conceive of a single one. A shot caught her in the chest, and though it did not burn the impact took her wind. She doubled over in pain as her mind raced. She tried in vain to comprehend what the Yaliyr had said to her, and Ginnie's words on top of it. She only understood their tone- disapproval and contempt. She could feel tears at the edge of her eyes as she forced herself to a knee.

Cover. She needed to get back behind cover. In her surprise, she had stumbled out into the open and away from safety. Another bolt took her in an arm. She felt the nerves go numb and her fingers spasm. Why did everything fall apart so quickly? Why was no one helping her? Why was all of this happening?

It must have been one of the schemes planned by [member="Keira Verd"] for... Kad only knew why she had done it, but it didn't matter anymore. Was she going to die? Were the other Mandos just going to stand there while pirates shot at her?

Alkor continued to fire one shot after another into the maelstrom of neverending targets, and what seemed to Asha like a threat to her life was in reality completely under control. Two of the most deadly killers under Yasha's banner were overseeing things.

"Aim," Alkor clenched his teeth. Her entire body was rife with tremors as she listened to the only thing that made sense. Someone giving an order. Something familiar. Something simple. "Fire."

And she did. Again and again. She was screaming, firing, falling backward under a barrage of blaster bolts. She tripped over the garbage pile, landed on her back but still continued to fire. Seconds passed as she started to act irrationally, righting herself and aiming her weapon toward the enemy. More pirates died.

Her mind was blank.

Another bolt caught her in the buy'ce, and the world went dark. Alkor pulled her down behind cover and took over, concentrating fire on the enemy position. "Mishuk gotal'u meshuroke, pako kyore," Alkor told them. "She's had it easy. Keira knew it. We talked about it, and for a long time, she was against the idea. Asha contiributes a lot to the household chores, she's good with the children, she handles a good deal of the responsibilities neither Keira or I have time for."

He took one last shot, then glanced to the other two. It had been an open frequency when Asha and he were speaking before. They most likely heard something he would normally not have shared. Alkor did not mention it, however.

"She's a Mandalorian," Alkor finally added. "Whether or not she will constantly see the front lines, she should know how to fight there and survive. I may have pressed the issue more severely as Warmaster rather than Alor'ad." When Keira outranked him, Asha had been spared this humiliation.

He glanced down at the girl, and while he felt no pity or remorse, he was concerned for her safety. "Let's finish here," he said to the other two quietly. "I apologize for not telling you about this."

Objective Three: Reintegrate Mando tech & Bring in engineers

The ground shook, booms filled the air and Deius pounced at his targets. Both hands held tightly his pair of daggers, his eyes gleamed as he felt the blades sink deep into the backs of these pirates and Deius slowly pulled himself back up. Softly he released his breath and walked over to the controls and a datapad left forgotten by one of the dead pirates guards. Let's see what I can find. This area was no where near ready for the Engineers to come but a simple mark for after the battle certainly wouldn't hurt. Can't be called lazy if I map out the area for them.

Deius eyed his own datapad but paused as the sounds of the approaching battle broke his focus. The pirate's defenses were a non-issue for the rest of his comrades, shock and awe tactics really makes short work of light defenses. The young Mandalorian slithered his way back of the Warehouse, his new objective required a bit less tact now that he had marked the Engineer's objective. Time to sweep away the trash, as the saying goes.

Light steps, Deius swiftly sunk into the shadows of what the Warehouse provided, not that he needed much to hide from as much of what remains of the pirates mostly appeared as a dying grasp than a second wind. Deius waited a moment, his HUD tracked some nearby movement, but still he waited. More explosions and quickly Deius fired a single shot, one the pirates was bringing up the rear of a group fell to the ground. Carefully Deius moved around and ducked behind cover a tad deeper into the Pirates defenses.

Aedan sighed as he strode forward waving his sword as he directed his units using it to point in various directions as yet another wave of Drop pods impacted the ground disgorging another flurry of Red Fang. Looking back at them Aedan thought for a moment before nodding to himself and pointing his sword off to his right quickly towards where Alkor and Ambrose themselves were. "Go and reinforce the right flank you are to take orders from Warmaster Centaris or Ambrose Cadera while over there." The leader of the group nodded his large head before they all turned and started to all but stampede in that direction a sigh surged forth from Aedan as he turned back towards the fight at hand tilting his body backward to evade a blaster shot. He started to walk forward sheathing the sword as he focused on the force drawing it out and letting it roll off of him like a violent wave of death and darkness his goal was to dishearten those before him with sheer overwhelming strength and presence. He held his hand out to one of his troops who handed him a test weapon it wouldn't match up to a lightsaber but they shouldn't run into any force users in the enemy ranks so this was the perfect place to start training with a scythe. Holding it in one hand the haft resting against the top of his arm as he held it away from his body and walked forward the blade curved down towards the ground sharply. His other hand reached up tearing off the eye patch as his mismatched eyes leveled against those opposite him. Smirking as his eyes glinted violently he continued to walk forward watching as various members of the pirates simply dropped to their knees eyes wide as his mere force presence seemed to fill the air around them making the air heavy.

Finally he broke into a sprint the weapon coming up so both hands could grasp the haft a malicious grin coming to his lips as he arrived at the pirate lines and planned his feet swinging the weapon around with all of his strength as the weapon all but cleaved through the front line. Smirking he spun the weapon in his hands before starting to swing it rapidly back in forth occasionally spinning his whole body around and using the end of the haft to create space. Finally it happened a pair of the pirates unaffected by his presence or the way he was ripping his way through their ranks drew blades and darted forward to engage him in melee combat. A savage smirk appeared on Aedan's lips as he brought the scythe around catching the blades on the rear of the wide sweeping blade. He grinned and pushed them away from him before darting forward spinning the weapon around and swinging at the one on the right quickly his eyes gleaming savagely as he started a deadly and dangerous dance with these two opponents. Around him the Red Fang surged forward pushing their way forward against the pirates aiming for resupply points and ammo dumps to gain control of these would swing things in their favor.

“Asha’s a dang fool, and if she even once hurts my kids, I’m slitting her throat with a jagged blade. You and Kiki give her way too much power for being a glorified housemaid.” Ginnie seethed, having Asha out here was just dangerous for others. The girl was flopping around like a wounded fish. Throwing her attacks with enough lack of discipline to harm other Mandalorians. By the moment Asha flopped down, Ginnie was so disgusted she saw red.

Ginnie’s rifle pointed at the armourweave between Asha’s chest plate and neck. Two shots. In that one space, it would only take two shots.

“Warmaster or not, if you do anything this bloody foolish again, I’m going to shoot you in the gizzard. Asha’s a loss of oxygen to any battle she’s in. If you wanted to be kind, you’d throw her into the enemy and let her die. Manda would be better for that girl, but she couldn’t even get that right. She’d end up in the Netherworld for being a bad Mandalorian.” Ginnie growled, grabbing Asha by the neck with her crushgaunt and shaking the girl awake, dragging Asha away from the open.

Unapologetic, Ginnie tossed Asha’s back against a jagged piece of duracrete debris, kneeling on one knee and slamming her fist on the other side of Asha’s head.

Hutuun. Listen.” Ginnie seethed, her buy’ce clanking against Asha’s in what looked from the outside to be a keldabe kiss. “You’re the most useless Mandalorian I’ve ever met. You leech off us like a venereal disease, and the way you fawn for Alkor is sick. Grow up. Taking care of the household, but spitting poisonous words isn’t love and it sure as Kad isn’t what family does. Your absorption is costing lives. You fire like an eight year old with a seizure disorder. Alkor doesn’t love you. He will never love you. If you stopped for five seconds and looked at him, really looked, you would see that a romance with your pansy arse is the last thing in the universe which would do him good. All you’d do is ruin him, by making every second about you. Give up. Grow up and get your head together in the next five seconds or I will choke the life out of you for endangering my brother, and use your blood for my alchemy.”

Ginnie punched the rock by Asha’s head again, crumbling duracrete scattered over Asha’s armour. “You’d finally be useful for more than doing the dishes.”

Grabbing Asha’s rifle, Ginnie checked it over, fixed the settings, and set it back in Asha’s hands. Seeing Asha’s lesson unsettled and boiled the blood of the young woman, whose eternal struggle was one against the hereditary dar’jetii tendencies in her blood.

“Finish this? I’m taking that as permission, vod.” Ginnie walked straight from Asha, blaster bolts pinging off her beskar’gam. The woman was not fooling around. Strains of dark power flooded around her, seeping into her fingers as vast shales of purple and crimson.

“Mando’ade, take cover. Mando’ade, get down!” Ambrose barked, watching Ginnie go.

[member="Aedan Miles"] was nearby, his talents at battlefield meditation increasing Ginnie’s natural gifts. The growl emanating out of her throat built to a roar. A tidal wave of explosive fire stole through the battlefield, enough concussive force to batter durasteel and throw a gunship tumbling into another enemy position. The fire rushed and smacked at the enemy pirates, each of the Mandalorians safe for the ping-signals in Ginnie’s HUD.

Ginnie screamed, the primal noise adding to the conflagration.

“Kriff!” Ambrose slapped his back against a barricade and gritted his teeth. The Red Fangs rushed to him, taking up formation with the rest of the remaining forces. “By Kad… she can pull herself out of that, right? Red Fangs, form up! Sweep from this position, kill anybody left from that pyrotechnic display. Make your way to these coordinates and join with my Yalilyr, in outflanking the pirate commander.”

Jor's vibroblade had found a home in the alien's body, but not in the place he had hoped. A lethal strike meant for the neck had instead buried itself in Kriick's arm; perhaps the wound would turn lethal later if left untreated for long, but it was not enough to stop the green alien right now. That much was apparent as Jor was forced to duck behind the corner of the corridor again, away from Kriick's blaster fire. From behind cover, he shook his head at his near miss in aim.

Peering back over the corner to offer a return volley of fire, he could see that the two aliens were already retreating further into the base, with the girl in tow. That was when the unmistakable voice of [member="Yasha Cadera"] was heard. Jor turned to see her, the two practically colliding in the hallway in pursuit of their enemies. With Yasha firing at Qujak, Jor pulled out his own blaster and let off several rounds aimed at Kriick's back as he retreated out of view.

"They'll be easy to track, at least," Jor said to Yasha, pointing towards the floor, where Kriick's blood left an uneven trail down the corridor.

At this point of the battle any organization they had was splintered as supplies started running short and there is one constant thing all Pirates share and that is survival, Some pirates turned on one another some just flat out ran while the rest just started shooting at anything that moved towards them. The battle was definitly going in the favor of the Mandalorians but those that were not shooting eachother or running away took cover in any crater or trench or wall they could find and continued shooting at the Mandalorians not wanting to loose to the battle despite the anarchic state they are in. The fighters continued there barrages and several small speeders made there charge fireing there rapid fire cannons at the Mando forces.

Hitting the ground Deius scrambled to the Warehouse wall and waited for the bombardment to end, his HUD flared red warning alerts of danger close strikes. Once his vision stopped shaking the young Mandalorian shifted his weight towards his toes, his legs tightened like a spring and his eyes focused straight ahead. He launched forward, his feet hit the ground from his jump and he ran from crate to crate, from destroyed fortification to destroyed vehicle. The battle turned into a total melee, and with no coordinated front to manage chaos would only blossom and now Deius needed his focus completely on his surroundings.

The want and need to survive for the next second is a dangerous and effective way to make pirates turn to serial madmen. Deius's goal of securing the weapons cache seemed more akin to a search and destroy. He paused a moment, his blaster lined up a shot and fired, One less madman, he quickly jumped to a different cover. Blaster appeared more sporadic and way less intensive, but the ground still shook with every large explosion and Deius peered around to scan for his next plan of attack.

There. His eyes targeted a small group of pirates, apparently attempting to form a coherent defensive line once again, Deius readied himself and he jumped ahead. His feet gracefully maneuvered him to his next cover and- Deius blinked and found himself face first on the dirt. His body had been tugged and thrown to the ground. Stunned, the young Mandalorian attempted to pick himself up but felt a solid kick knock him back. Light armor certainly had its perks, but now Deius wished for something a little heavier on him.

And not another heavy kick to the side. Deius groaned as he rolled out of blade attack, a very injured pirate with crazed eyes stabbed the ground passionately. Deius lashed out with his arms and wrapped his hands around the Pirate's own hands and both struggled for control of the blade. On the ground Deius could not generate enough power to properly sweep the legs, so instead he settled for wrapping them around the pirate's legs. The Pirate yanked hard for his vibro blade and Deius released his hold, the Pirate began to fall back and Deius pulled his legs closer to him. He felt his legs give out from underneath him and now both him and the young Mandalorian were on the ground.

“A blessing. Let’s go get them, shall we?” Yasha growled and rushed to take position beside Jor, nodding to the fellow warrior who got first blood. The blaster bolts exchanged coated the area with the smell of ozone, burn marks on the corridors.

“Zelen, stab him and run.” Yasha whispered into her buy’ce, knowing her sister would receive the message on her own. The girl indeed got her sister’s message. Zelen reached for anything she could on her armour, hand too far from her beskad.

But not far enough away from her screwdriver. Taking the tool, Zelen reached and stabbed into the soft tissue of her captor’s side, grunting as she did it. She yanked it out and stabbed again.

“Let! Me! Go!” She screamed, kicking and attempting to cause enough commotion to both stall for time, and get distance from her kidnappers.

Throughout the station, the 9th Division was cutting down section upon section of pirate scum, clearing level by level. Akalenedat’ike dressed in their coconut armour were crawling through the ductwork, clearing the villains for their Metal Coconut friends.

“Mand’alor, this is Captain Kierke of the Infernal. We have arrived with reinforcements. The fethers won’t have a prayer.” Captain Kierke began locking down the Ylix system, sending three squadrons to back up the Blood Fleet squadrons down on strafing runs on the surface.

While bits of the insurgents would still continue, the System itself was thoroughly in Mandalorian control, by sheer numbers alone.

“Good. No ships leave the system. Board everyone, check them first, check their cargo. Surround the Station. Infernal out.” Yasha continued pacing forward, pistol raised to defend her sister.

Deius was not alone. No Mandalorian was truly alone, with Manda in their inevitable future, but this day Deius was located by the Yalilyr, as they swung through to flank the escaping pirates from the far and upper right of the battlefield. The Hunters of Manda’yaim flooded like a lethal fog, across the field of retreating foes, a squad of four coming to the warehouse.

Once they saw Deius get kicked down, The Yalilyr burst in, one covering the squad, one rushing to grab Deius by the shoulder and drag him away from the pirate to safety, one bootstomping the pirate’s head and the other firing at the pirate’s compatriot farther off.

“Koman’na, you okay?” The garbled voice came from the buy’ce. Genn Cadera, a fairly young female member of the Mandalorian’s most vicious hunters.

Status: Get rescued. Call in the Engineers

A moment weightlessness and Deius felt himself get lifted slightly and dragged away from the prone pirate, whom appeared rather dead at the moment. It took a rather large amount of will power to stop his reflexes from attempting to struggle from his fellow vode that had rescued him. We've pushed up this far already? Deius wondered how quickly things would wrap up now that the back of the Pirate's defenses were now broken. Not long he figured and after he had been dragged back to relative safety Deius stood back up.

His hand rubbed the spot that had been kicked, a soft touch and quickly Deius concluded while nothing was broken he should perhaps take a painkiller of sorts. "Ni cuy'jute," ("I'm good")Deius responded easily enough, he offered a quick nod to his sister. "Thought he was dead." He added, in hopes of masking his wounded pride. Yeah, totally would have ended him if I cared about finishing his life at that instant. Totally.

Deius peered around the area and noted now that this squad had reached his position, the Weapon Cache he had marked back in the Warehouse was pretty much secured. The rest of the Mandalorian forces would push the Pirates further back, and by the time the Engineers make it to the cache, the fighting should eventually die down. "Going to call in the engineers to take care of the weapons cache." Deius explained as he began to switch frequencies in his helmet to call them.

"Oh. . . and-um, thanks for the save." Deius mumbled out his gratitude. It's just a girl, you've talk to plenty of them before- perhaps not after they rescued you from danger but still, it's all the same.
