TabulaInc is one of the five sister-companies of Geminidae, one of the largest enterprises ever launched in the mountainous planet. For several generations, Tabula has managed to stay in the top end of the scientific fields, particularly in the areas of engineering and genetic design, many go as far as saying that the Geminaie species wouldn't exist as it is today if it weren't for Tabula Incorporation.
They are considered an eminent authority and have been behind some of the most important discoveries, developments and creations in the history of its home-planet. The importance of its research has led to it being the most heavily guarded corporation in Geminidae, its offices are often given higher priority levels than the buildings belonging to the governing authorities themselves and many military bases pale in comparison to the defenses employed in the protection of its laboratories.
Its advances in the medical field, pharmacology and chemistry are the ones more often shared with the rest of the galaxy through trade, while its other operations are reserved to only highly trusted trading partners or never commercialized at all. The company has been known, on very rare occasion, to lend humanitarian assistance to other Wild Space planets by deploying its Relief Corps in cases of plague or war; although they are not easily swayed into doing so.
Tabula has always been owned by the Geminian government, more precisely the Sovereign, and its positions manned mostly by those belonging to the Novitae caste. It is at the same time the company that more often interacts with foreign enterprises, due to the necessary interdisciplinary consultations of its operations, and the one that must abide by the stricter trading rules.
Ambassadors are not allowed to discuss any issues pertaining to TabulaInc. unless in a meeting specifically purposed for such a conversation which would be attended by at least three representatives or the Soevereign and Tabula's board of directors themselves.
