Seros Extraction & Manufacturing is one of the five biggest enterprises of Geminidae, in charge of the production, extraction and refinement of the natural resources of the wild space planet. According to the laws of the Geminian government, Seros operates under strictly regulated environmental laws. The extraction sites follow a rotational schedule that allows renewable resources to recover before being exploited again in the same place and, in the case nonrenewable resources, they are supervised and measured in order to ensure they last as long as possible.
After production and extraction, Seros' labs are charged with researching and tinkering with the properties of the resources they extract. Several processes are utilized to highlight, strengthen or modify the properties of metals, crystals, woods and textiles for different purposes. The final result can either be a processed refined material or a new synthetic one. Seros is the heart of all Geminian enterprises, being the provider of most, in not all, raw and refined material that the rest of the companies use in to create their own products.
Seros has existed for several generations now as a state-owned company, originating after the merging of several smaller extraction enterprises. The geminian government allows the company to appoint its own CEOs and managers and control most of the general structure of its working force freely.
