  • Tried and Tested: The T-95 A3 'Thunderhawk' is an evolution of the proven X-Wing design, being a highly versatile and capable starfighter that is relatively easy to maintain, making it an attractive option on the market
  • Race Horse: Unlike typical X-Wing variants, the Thunderhawk is built for speed, featuring a streamlined airframe and highly efficient engines that allow it to accelerate to higher speeds than other, similar starfighters

  • Hefty Price Tag: The Thunderhawk is a high performance, fairly expensive starfighter. Due to this, squadrons outfitted with this X-Wing model are downsized, practically never being deployed in numbers greater than eight starfighters per squadron
  • X Factor: The Thunderhawk's powerful engines have a very noticeable sensor footprint, making them easier to detect at longer ranges, being much difficult for this starfighter to go unnoticed

Initially developed by Annaj Vessels Corporation for the private market, until the company's takeover by Interstellar Shipping during the Eternal Empire's annexation of the planet, the T-95 A3 'Thunderhawk' X-Wing has been licensed out to a number of manufacturers and is being marketed as a high-end starfighter for the private market, aimed especially at private security companies. Fast, sleek and easy to maintain, the Thunderhawk is a highly versatile and well-armed X-Wing variant, if somewhat expensive.

In more recent times, the Thunderhawk has become heavily associated with the Eclipse Rebellion, which fields it in considerable numbers, although it is also fairly commonly employed by the Black Suns criminal syndicate. It is an effective starfighter, capable of quick bursts of speed, although its powerful engines give it a very large and noticeable sensor footprint, which makes it detectable at longer ranges than most comparable starfighters.

Because of its hefty price tag and fuel use, squadrons which receive it are downsized to only eight fighters, in order to spread the number of Thunderhawks out evenly amongst the fleet and increase its availability. Another one of its notable advantages is its sophisticated life support system, which allows it to operate at much greater distances away from its base or carrier, than most starfighters would be capable of.

Equipped with a class 3 hyperdrive, it is capable of performing medium-range jumps fairly quickly, bringing its firepower to bear when and where it is needed, being an excellent platform for rapid response units. In terms of armament, the Thunderhawk is outfitted with four laser cannons, one mounted on each S-foil, along with two proton torpedo launchers, a configuration that is fairly standard across X-Wing variants, somewhat conservative, but still extremely effective.
