STRENGTHS
  • Electronic Warfare Prowess: As an Electronic Warfare Starfighter, the Cipher has a range of advanced systems that give it a significant edge in electronic warfare.
  • Integrated Astromech Slot: Optimized for E-series EW Astromechs, these droids provide additional technical and electronic support, further enhancing the Cipher's EW capabilities.
WEAKNESSES
  • Dependency on Astromech: While the E-series EW Astromech enhances the Cipher's abilities, it also creates a dependency. While it doesn't negate all of its abilities, being paired with a non-specialized astromech, or the on board astromech being disabled, damaged, or destroyed, heavily handicaps its role as an EW Fighter.
  • Parallax Error: Like most variants of the X-wing, the Cipher has its cannons at the end of each S-foil, which can cause for some serious parallax error if the cannons aren't properly zeroed in. Unlike other X-wing variants, the Cipher has traded in all of its torpedo and missile launchers for its high-tech EW systems, meaning that this zeroing distance must be accounted for even more without a guided weapon to compensate.
DESCRIPTION

The T-65EW "Cipher" stands as a testament to the evolution of starfighter design, with a specialization in electronic warfare. Crafted meticulously by Incom-Freitek-Koensayr Incorporated in collaboration with Ari Naldax, the Cipher serves the Galactic Alliance Starfighter Corps with unmatched prowess in electronic countermeasures, reconnaissance, and surveillance.

Its sleek design, measuring 12.8m in length, conceals a plethora of advanced systems that make it a nightmare for enemies relying on electronic systems. From its advanced jammers to its state-of-the-art sensor package, every inch of the Cipher screams superiority in the electronic warfare domain.

While it possesses commendable firepower and defense mechanisms, the Cipher is best used in tandem with other starfighter classes, leveraging its unique capabilities to give the Galactic Alliance an edge in space battles. In the hands of skilled pilots, the T-65EW "Cipher" can turn the tide of any battle, blinding enemies, and paving the way for victory.
