"Your next challenge will consist of research and development. You will be given a set of criteria that you must follow to create a particular item. Being that this is R&D, feel free to put more effort into designing the weapon than you would for something mass-produced. The prototype that worst fits the criteria will be rejected and the submitter will be booted from the competition."

REQUIREMENTS:
Weapon is a rifle
Weapon may be of any type except slugthrower or blaster
Weapon must have a magazine size of no less than 20 shots
Weapon must not need to be supported by a bipod or tripod
Weapon must have a combat range of 200-250m
Weapon must be able to mount a scope
