DESCRIPTION
The Swordbreaker was Dracken Pryce's personal Tantara-Series corvette. It served as his main diplomatic vessel during his main tenure as Diktat of the Corellian Confederation. Originally constructed in the middle of the Second Great Hyperspace War, it began life as a system patrol craft for the Corellian Defense Force serving its community in the Graland System. It was retired after sustaining damage in a rare Core World raid by the Maw. Dracken purchased the vessel with his own funds some time after the war's end and began restoration on the ship with his aging father. During the restoration, Dracken's father passed away, but not before naming the vessel Swordbreaker.

After his father passed, Dracken moved the project to a few trusted engineers at CEC, moving the project from the small ground-based hobby shipyard of his father to Centerpoint Shipyards. Corellian Naval Intelligence ultimately took over the project, ensuring that the vessel was adequate for Diktat Pryce's penchant for getting into trouble, his tendency to lead from the front, and providing the utmost in security for private transmissions and comminations with the Corellian Confederation and its allies. The weapons systems underwent a drastic improvement from the commercially available Tantara-Series. The Swordbreaker also boasted heavier armor and a more robust power plant and energy distribution system, allowing for a faster and better shielded vessel.

While it kept much of its comfortable civilian appeal on the inside, with some luxury improvements, the militarization of much of the cargo and crew space reduced the amount of true passenger space and transformed it into barracks and an armory capable of accommodating a full company of Corellian Shocktroopers and two squads of Corellian Darksabers. The hangar deck was also modified with experimental tech and advanced prototype fighters.

The Swordbreaker saw a mostly peaceful life. The regular crew was a small, tightknit family unit that had served with Dracken at some point or another throughout his long years of service. It was an easy life and an easy paycheck. However, once war with the resurgence Maw, otherwise known as the Dark Empire, began, all bets were off. A full compliment of fighters and fighting men was assigned to the Swordbreaker and the small family crew of seven swelled to over three-hundred. The Swordbreaker would see some minor action at the Battle of Coruscant, crashlanding in the Undercity and rescuing the Chancellor from the half-constructed Eclipse Dreadnought before blasting its way out of trouble and jumping to hyperspace. The Swordbreaker has since been re-activated in the Corellian Defense Force under the Diktat's direct command. As such, elite pilots, Halcyon commandos, and an elite Corellian Shocktrooper unit have been assigned to the ship.

The Swordbreaker flies into an uncertain Galaxy.

Very nicely made ship! The Image source field is broken, I would like to ask you to add the image source link to the template (others usually put it under the art). Thank you for your understanding! And I would like to ask you to add the following fields to the template, because thesee are not in the pre-made fields:
  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
50m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 0 | Extreme: 0 ]
100m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 1 | Extreme: 2 ]
200m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 1 | High: 2 | Very High: 3 | Extreme: 4 ]
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons
  • Single Craft Hangar: (Does this ship have a hanger for a single fighter craft to be docked? Please choose either Yes or No. This field does not need to be taken into account when balancing but should be included in the strengths and weaknesses.)
  • Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
