SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Hovercraft: Unlike traditional Repulsorlifts, the Swift Assault 5000 is a Hovercraft, allowing it to operate on planets where Repulsorlifts would remain grounded
  • Open top: The Swift Assault 5000's open topped design allows its passengers to contribute their personal weapons toward any fighting that the vehicle may engage in
  • Troop Transport: The Swift Assault 5000 is capable of transporting up to 15 troops and a relatively large amount of supplies
  • Reliable: Compared to standard Repulsorlifts, the Swift Assault 5000 is supremely reliable and unlikely to malfunction
WEAKNESSES
  • Hovercraft: Because it is not a standard Repulsorlift craft, the Swift Assault 5000 cannot match the same speeds as these types of vehicles
  • Open top: Being an open topped vehicle, the Swift Assault 5000 is especially vulnerable to enemy attack, and offers little protection for those riding inside of it
  • Weak point: The Swift Assault 5000's rubber skirt system is a notable weak point on an otherwise relatively durable vehicle
  • Crew intensive: Though the Swift Assault 5000 can be piloted by a single person, it requires four dedicated gunners for all of its weapon systems
DESCRIPTION

Traditional Repulsorlift craft have been used by various cultures throughout the galaxy for thousands of years, and for good reason: they are often fast moving, quite maneuverable and even able to bypass certain pieces of terrain that might otherwise stop a wheeled or tracked vehicle from moving. However, Repulsorlift craft can be vulnerable to electromagnetic storms and certain countermeasures, preventing them from being deployed.

The Swift Assault 5000 seeks to eliminate this weakness by employing a "Hovercraft" system in place of more standard Repulsorlifts. Unlike Repulsorlifts, a Hovercraft system creates a cushion of air for the vehicle to glide on, giving it a similar effect to a Repulsorlift without the same types of vulnerabilities that such a system brings. Of course, this does mean that the Swift Assault 5000 is unable to match the same speed and maneuverability as a dedicated Repulsorlift system.

That being said, the Swift Assault 5000 is still capable of achieving impressive speeds, and can deliver up to 15 heavily armed troops into battle regardless of atmospheric conditions or enemy attempts to prevent its deployment. Combined with its heavy armament, the Swift Assault 5000 can be a vitally important piece of equipment for any army looking to keep its troops on the move.

As usual, very cool. I found only issue. The SU means this:
Semi-Unique (A single small unit, squad, or squadron),
And you wrote a Major Faction, a Minor Faction and a Company to the Affiliation. Please keep only one and delete the other two.

This submission is being pulled due to a report.

The Sithspawn Revitalization Projector is classifed as Extremely large and Extremely heavy.

Could you just clarify for us how the Large sized and averaged weighted vehicle is accounting for this?

Thank you

Well you see John Locke John Locke , the answer is quite simple: I neglected to look at its size and weight when the vehicle was approved. However, due to the shall we say "controversies" surrounding the Sithspawn Revitalization Projector, I have removed that piece of technology entirely. I have swapped it out with 2 Turbolaser Cannons, bumped the production up to Limited, and given the vehicle slightly more passenger capacity at 15.
