Summer of ‘59 Event
Welcome to Kaas City Adventure Park!

Summer is here and are the temperatures sweltering! All throughout the Empire as planets in their estival solstice are experiencing an unprecedented heatwave. Rather than stay inside your flats, your military bases or starships. C’mon down to the Kaas City Adventure Park! One of the largest theme parks within the Sith Empire featuring a ten-kilometer wave pool. Oh, that’s right a ten-kilometer wave pool, “Surf Lake.” A dominating feature of the park and is indeed the star of the show!

In the center of this massive pool, the ‘plunger’ device that is responsible for generating concentric wave ‘rings’ to the eight surrounding ‘reefs’. Each reef or section has been custom designed for all manner of rides, swimmers, and surfers. Everything from beginner beach breaks to wipe out alley for the more skilled adventurer. There are soft points and wedges to lend a hand when things get too rough. The device is officially called, “Brizzy Tower.” Guards are on duty around the clock, as are the security teams who are constantly monitoring the park.

At the top of the central device lay an observation deck with a rotating restaurant above it. Families can enjoy the best view in the park and have a lovely dinner to boot. As one can imagine getting around the park is quite the effort, but you, our dear adventurer need not worry! The park features several methods for getting around, a monorail that operates around the perimeter of the park, smaller ‘cart-speeders’ are also available for families to rent as well. The other method of travel is around the lazy river. There are stops throughout where adventurers and their families can grab their tubes and get on or off the river.

Adventure Park features a Grand Resort on the north end. The Grand Crown Adventure Resort features two fabulous five-star hotels with connecting boardwalks. The boardwalk offers an amazing view of Surf Lake with wonderful palm trees imported from Gilaria so that adventurers may cool off. Walk-up bars and cafes, old fashion games, and arcades are available throughout the promenade which also features a lovely dance floor, live music, and entertainment for when that Dromund Kaas sun begins to set.

On the west side of the park we have Adventurers' Cove, or simply, “The Cove.” While Surf’s Lake may dominate the center of the park, the Cove dominates the skyline. Punctuating the air with its colorful array of tubes, slides and water rides. Catch pools collect adventurers at the bottom of each ride and we ask that parents accompany their children to these rides to ensure their safety. The rides take our adventurers on a wonderful, twist and turn journey to the bottom and are sure to keep your thrill seeker busy!

The Cove also features the cool, calm and collected, “Tilly Pond.” Tilly Pond is a designated rest and relaxation area, and great for those who are just starting out on their swim lessons. The Pond is at its deepest, one point five meters so certainly a great feature for families. Through the Pond and even the Cove are plenty of lounges, chairs, tables and rest areas.

Changing areas are also located throughout this end of the park. Lockers are also available for rent, designated dining areas with pop-up cafes and restaurants can also be found throughout this side of the park. We ask all adventures to keep their water shoes, sandals or flip-flops on as walking barefoot may not only burn your feet but walking barefoot around the park is also quite unsanitary so please, keep shoes on while adventuring throughout the park!

Now then on the southern end of the park, we have, the Southern Shores. Southern Shores offers a wide array of relaxation everything from designated sunbathing areas to sand volleyball, water polo, hockey and a massive rock wall for our climbers. It also features the beautiful, “Blue Lagoon,” which offers a swim-up bar and opens up in the evening hours and closes before sunrise. Blue Lagoon also features private hot tubs that are available for reservation, and karaoke on the sand!

The east side of the park offers more accommodation options from tiki-like bungalows, shopping mall, holoflix theater, and indoor trampoline along with the numerous food courts and indoor limmie [soccer], puttie [mini-golf], and an entire rumble pin [bowling] alley. Massage parlors, saunas, and designated quiet areas are also available on this side of the park. This is also where medical/the infirmary is located, there is also an on-site pharmacy for those in need of medication. The east side of the park has been referred to as, “Reef Village.”

Whatever the reason for your stay, we just hope you have a wonderful time! Welcome to Kaas City Adventure Park and have a fabulous time on your family adventure!

Southern Shores

Even a Princess needs a vacation from time to time.

In the Southern Shores area there was much to do, much to see, and many ways to relax. Some, however, did not come to relax. Perhaps they had relaxed too much prior, or intended to relax twice as much later. For some reason, these individuals gathered there to display feats of strength.

The sun baked down on Joycelyn as she rubbed the chalk into her hands. Force inhibitors made feats of strength all the more difficult, but equally more rewarding. She eyed the weights intently as she flexed her hands and rolled her shoulders. Her skin was already warm, her toned body already limbered up in preparation. This was less about building and more about displaying and testing oneself. It was a matter of pride.

Joyce prepared herself both mentally and physically, as she had done for trials before.

She crouched down quickly, hands seizing the metal bar. First she leaned on it, breathing out then sucking air in as she launched into the pull. Her shoulders tensed as she raised her torso up against the weight. The metal flexed under her pull as she activated the large muscle groups and pulled. Once it began to lift she seized upon the momentum and swung the bar up over her head and settled herself under its weight.

Joycelyn stared intensely ahead as she tried to maintain balance.

Once she felt solid, she pushed with her legs, holding the weighted bar over her head. She pushed, pushed -Air rushing quickly in and out of her nose- and rose to a full standing. She felt the weight, but proper structure helped to keep her standing. Her breath slowed in triumph and while there was no applause around her, in her head she felt the pang of satisfaction and adrenaline as she stood.

Then she let it drop.

It did not fall from her hands, rather she lowered it and herself to set it down carefully. In her mind, it was as important to stop momentum as to create it. Some liked to simply throw the weight. It could take it, but she found they were careless and prone to not finishing what they started.

Pleased, she rose to her full height again, this time not hampered by the weight. She felt as light as a feather.

Suffice to say.

The Emperor did not mix well with water.

Not that he didn't like the water, he was perfectly apathetic towards the substance. It was that since he acquired his uniquely designed artificial bodies, the added benefit of hyperdensity keeping his feet firmly on the ground had the added deficiency of removing any chance he could remain buoyant in water.

So there he was, standing at the bottom of an artificial shoreline thirty feet deep, adjacent to an artificial beach where his un-exaggeratedly massive family was currently enjoying their vacation. At first he had protested, he was not the type of person to take indulgence in exceptionally mundane activities.

But Salara and Invicta leveraged their combined powers against him, and the rest was history.

Looking up, he could see others swimming above him. His older children mingling with the military nobility's appropriately aged children, building friendships (read: alliances), improving on their social skills, and exerting their dominance amidst the rolling waves. It was not the upbringing he had, that was for sure. In those dark and distant days there had been no other children except for his two younger siblings, but he was always instructed to treat them as rivals rather than comrades; to drive a wedge between them. In the end it had failed, but there yet existed a rift between them to this day.

Small bubbles of air escaped from his nostrils as he turned and began to make his return to shore, walking along the sand-covered bed as the distance between himself and the surface closed with each powerful step. His head was the first to crest the surface, black hair slick with water and salt as the rest of him quickly followed. He wore nothing except a bathing tog designed specifically for his anatomy and biological dimensions. It fit snugly and was not want to become dislodged or undone.

Even on this day of relaxation and recreation he was still treated with a certain measure of reverence, several beach-goers placing one closed fist over their heart in salute as he passed them by without sparing a second glance. He did not stop until he reached the spot where his wives had staked their claim, turning about and sitting down on his buttocks atop a towel embroidered with his family's crest while a large umbrella kept the majority of the sun's rays off his skin. To simulate more tropical weather, an orbital solar satellite had been constructed in orbit to absorb and redirect Dromund's energy down to this specific point on the planet, warming it up by several degrees more than the surrounding landscape.

All done so the citizens of the Empire could enjoy a beach day on the co-capital.

With the busy occupations of both herself and Ishana, family trips were difficult to plan for the Pavanos's. It made days like this that much more special, though, and with many children of other prominent figures in the empire there was more than enough opportunity for Xariah, Xarielle, and Azarin to make friends. Her own parents as well as many 0f her in-laws had come along to the park as well, with most of them going their own way to check out different areas. The destination for Kaalia, Ishana, and the little ones was Tilly's Pond, much to the excitement of Xariah in particular.

"No running, Riah!"

At the sight of a sign pointing the guests to Tilly's Pond, the five-year-old went full-speed ahead towards it. She quickly glanced towards her wife as to say she was going to go after her which she did after setting down the bags with towels, floaties, and various other items. Kaalia caught up to Xariah and picked her up off the ground to halt her progress. "We're almost there. Be patient, okay?." Her daughter's response was more of her saying she wanted to go swim. She had made that quite clear on the trip here already.

Although she was most definitely not happy about it, Xariah followed Kaalia back to where she had left the bags so they could be picked up again before continuing their walk towards Tilly's Pond. It was a sunny day and the redhead was going to be using that to get a bit of a tan. She would be more than content to watch the kids have fun while she took some time to relax and spend some time with Ishana. If the two would decide they wanted to go somewhere else, though, there were more than enough family members around to take over the watch here.

"Maybe Taeli and Fiolette will bring Nerralyn here, too," Kaalia pondered out loud as the five arrived at their destination. Azarin and Nerralyn were of similar age and she hoped the two could play together. Xariah in the meantime already had her floaties on and dashed off to one of the slides, nearly dragging Xarielle along with her. Their mother chuckled at the sight as she set down the bags next to a number of free lounge chairs. "Mommy's right here!", she called out to them while waving, letting the kids know where their parents were in case they needed anything.

Taru Cadera was running around with a couple other pre-teens around his age, with some being Imperial Citizens and some being Mandalorians in his group. They had just climbed the rock walls like a thousand times, and were already bored of climbing. They rushed towards the water in order to cool off, as the fake sun was making everything very hot and fun. But he needed to cool off. As they ran towards the water, they ran through a gym-like area with weights and stuff. Taru, not stopping at all, took a 100lb dumbbell with his right hand and continued running. The weight didn't seem to drag him down at all.

He kept on running, and the group ran a couple of circles in order to try to not have Taru tag one of the others with the dumbbell. They continued this race past a woman who had just put down a heavy metal weight bar, with the Imperial Citizens all putting their closed fists to their hearts as they ran past her, and Taru close on their tails with the 100lb dumbbell still in hand. He yelled gleefully, and closed in on his new friends, ramming through two of them with the dumbbell (essentially shoving them to the side) and then ran back to put the dumbbell back in its place near the woman working out..

Vacation, it wasn't something Adenn had indulged in much before, if at all. He'd always had something to do since he was 10. Whether it was running his clan, killing people, doing bounties, or something with the various groups he was working with, he hadn't had much free time. That was something Adenn liked though, he wouldn't know what to do without a clear cut goal. Times changed though, as do people. In his own opinion, Adenn had changed the most out of those he knew. Where before was a man who didn't really know the meaning of free time, who was focused on his job more than anything else, his eyes had been opened. By who though? None other than Aditya Fitz Kierke, now his wife and lover, now the mother of his children.

It was because of Aditya that Adenn was now taking some time off, because of her that he had even considered this place. She had found it, had done the needed paper work for it all, had convinced Adenn to leave his armor at home and go in regular clothes. He had jeans(or Star Wars equivalent) on along with a short sleeved shirt on. Apparently he wouldn't be wearing it much, because they would go swimming. Adenn wasn't concerned about swimming, he was concerned about his newborn children, only a few weeks old. He didn't know what to do really, or how to take care of them.

Thankfully the problem solved itself thanks to Ada, Adityas mother. She had heard about this little trip and declared she'd be coming along to keep an eye on Adenn, seeing as he wasn't royalty or anything. Adenn had tuned her out once she said she was coming along, and had told Aditya that Ada would be perfect for watching over the triplets. That in itself was a suggestion for them to leave Ada and have fun on their own, play some games, go swimming, etc. That taken care of, Adenn, Aditya, Ada, and the triplets had gone to Summer Shores on Dromund Kaas.

Walking along the sand line, Adenn, Ada, Aditya, and the triplets hadn't picked a spot yet, but Adenn did see one he liked. Motioning towards it with his free hand, Adenn kept walking, with one of his children in hand. Aditya had dressed them up some time before, all decked out in UV protecting clothes and hats. It was rather cute all in all, especially on Isolde, the little girl that Adenn was carrying along. Adenn also had a sun umbrella along to stick in the sand and protect them from the sun. Walking through the sand wasn't a chore for Adenn, but he was careful not to jostle his child he was carrying along, being careful to walk evenly.

Adenn was walking at the head of their little group, with Ada and Aditya near him. When they reached the spot, Adenn carefully put the sun umbrella in place and opened it up. Immediately there a large area of shade, perfect for all of them to fit in with room. Helping the ladies set everything up, Adenn then looked around the area, taking note of his surroundings, who was where, and what was happening. In the water where people already, swimming, talking, and doing other things. Adenn honestly didn't know where to fit in, so he looked to Aditya to see what needed to happen next. Walking over to her, he gave her a quick kiss before speaking up.
"Well c'yare, you said we should come here, what now?"

“Taru! Taaruu!” Adara skipped out into the Summer Shores, and scanned the horizon of summertime sojourners. Younger brothers all in the kiddie pool with Tamar standing vigil, Adara kept her eyes open for [member="Taru Cadera"]. Her new vod was… somewhere probably doing something fairly chaotic. Lo and behold, there he was, goofing around with weights that Adara couldn’t even hope to lift when she was three hundred and stronger than a planet.

Hey, a ten year old could dream.

“Oh, Taru! Do you want to go on the water slides with me? It would be incredible fun!” Dressed in a thin sundress over her bathing suit, and with sandals and a big floppy hat on her pale head, Adara grinned and hopped up and down. “Pleeease? Ba’buir says I can go if I have a buddy.”

Looking back at Ba’buir [member="Aditya Fitz Kierke"], and [member="Adenn Kyramud"], Adara waved. Aditya nodded, sitting down cross-legged on the beach towel, while cradling little Isolde in her arms.

“Gawsh that child. Think she could take a water slide by herself. Eh! Keeps them out of trouble.” She smirked and gazed from Isolde to Adenn with a snort. “Oy, new Buir. How’s about you sit down a minute? Hmm? Relax, that’s the purpose of a vacation, you re-l-a-x. Reeeeee-laaaaaax. You sit under the sunshade and rest, or read a book, or go splash in the water and do something fun. Eh, Mother?”

Ada, rocking Hector and Vahan, looked up from baby duty just as [member="Darth Carnifex"] surfaced from the water. Her eyelids scattered with blinks, as off he went, back to his own beach towel.

“Yes! Relax… play some perfectly harmless but entertaining games. Enjoy yourself, good heavens he’s eaten his protein as a child hasn’t he?”

“Mother!”

“Well! I never thought I’d see the day where the statues we erected in his honour were smaller than the man. I’ll have to get them all rebuilt.” Ada huffed, setting the wriggling Hector down under the sun shade, and offering Vahan to his father. “So when is Yasha arriving, and when can I get her in that bikini I ordered?”

“Mother!!”

Adenn stood there in a calm silence, simply watching everything. What they needed had already been set up, now it was time to relax. When Adara waved to them, Adenn raised his hand in a return greeting. Then he returned his gaze to looking over everything else. When Aditya spoke, Adenn returned his attention to her, gazing down at the seated form of his wife, holding his daughter. The sight caused him to smile, something that wasn't shown very often because of his helmet. Adenn tilted his head slightly, contemplating sitting down, then decided he would in a few moments.

He was about to return his attention to the water and other people when Ada blinked rapidly. Turning his gaze to what she was looking at, Adenn noted [member="Darth Carnifex"] and how he was emerging from the water. Sighing, Adenn shook his head to her following comments. When he was offered Vahan, Adenn gingerly took his son and began to rock him back and forth slowly, holding him close to his chest. Then the bikini comment came, causing Adenn to pause slightly. Shaking his head, Adenn spoke.
"I know you're family and all, but could you perhaps keep those comments down please? We wouldn't want to ruin her reputation now, would we?"

Chuckling slightly, Adenn moved over to Aditya before kneeling down. Then he turned around and lay down, resting his head on her thighs/legs and looking up at her holding Isolde. He held Vahan in his arms, laying against his chest, quietly sleeping now. Hector would be in good hands with Ada, even if he kept wiggling around, trying to wiggle somewhere. Smiling at their little family outing, Adenn closed his eyes contentedly, relaxing in the shade and in Aditya's presence. Even though he felt naked without his armor on, Adenn could get used to the rest of this, it wasn't all that bad.

Kaas City Adventure Park

Tilly's Pond

It was nice to get time off, and time off that worked with her wife's schedule. Ishana wasn't too far behind Kaalia and the twins, the pilot wore a pair of small swim trunks and a bikini top. As the Balmorran walked in step with the red head she couldn't help but be a little grateful that the park was on Dromund Kaas. Had it been elsewhere she wasn't sure they would all survive the trip. What with three children under the age of six, Xariah and Xarielle being the older of the three. Xariah the oldest by about two minutes, but they were two very important minutes if you ask the girl. The family had gotten off the tram not too long ago and were inching closer and closer to Tilly's Pond. All around them were other families of all shapes and sizes, some with two moms like theirs, some with two dads, one mom, and one dad - while still others seemed to have a cohort of parents and/or relatives.

Ishana's cohort was around the park with her sisters not too far behind. They both promised to stick around and help with the girls so that Ishana and Kaalia could get a little time alone at some point in the day. "Riah, listen to mommy okay?" Her voice echoed Kaalia's as the five-year-old seemed to stop in her tracks. Then there was the signature eye roll and sigh and the pilot knew exactly where it came from. Her wife. What? Okay so maybe some of it came from her, but she was positive that Azarin - the three-year-old who was currently snuggled up into her shoulder and chest. Had more of the Pavanos looks than the twins, for while the twins may have looked like Ishana. They definitely had their mama's facial expressions, much to Kaal's chagrin Ishana was sure.

The groan from Xariah made Ishana chuckle as they approached the lounge chairs and pool of Tilly's Pond. Setting the sleepy Azarin down in a chair beside Kaal, the Balmorran worked to get floaties on Xarielle. Riah already had them on and just needed a quick inspection. "Maybe, it'd be nice for Azarin to play with a kid her age, doesn't the Emperor have like an entire horde of kids for her to play though?

Once both girls had their floaties secured and had passed 'inspection' they were off to the pool. Riah dragging her poor sister before the girl had a chance to react. "Riah! No running!" Ishana shouted as she placed a hand over her eyes to shield them from light that reflected off the water's surface. "Ali, Dals," Ishana greeted her sisters as they walked into the pool both went toward the twins. Getting some quality auntie/niece time that wasn't always afforded to them during their day to day schedules. Dals, a teacher, had recently gotten married, her husband was currently stationed in another sector. Ali meanwhile had followed in Ishana's footsteps and was a fellow fighter pilot.

Finally Ishana was able to sit back in the lounge chair, "ah - okay, this is nice, isn't it Zazie?" She asked her youngest daughter with a smile as the toddler sat on Ishana's lap.

Convincing her husband to join them on this day had been glorious. He had been so adamant about avoiding such simple pleasures, and on her own Salara was sure she would not have been able to convince him. It helped that Invicta had been there to help her convince him. Such a delightful payout Salara drank in the sight of her husband as he emerged from the water.

She also could not help but giggle at the sight of him in his bathing tog. There was a look exchanged with [member="Invicta Zambrano"] as that artificial heat warmed the park up to a more tropical summer level. The sunlight reflecting off the waters gave her an idea, and as [member="Darth Carnifex"] sat down on the towel both wives left their comfortable lounge chairs and headed for the water. Their hips swaying in tandem as they flanked their husband.

One on the right, and one on the left.

Soon they were holding hands and made their way to the water.

Days like this were often hard to come by especially for the Empresses as each one was often absorbed by their own personal projects or their children. Salara and Invicta were responsible for twelve children six for each wife as it stood. Diving beneath the crystal clear wave of water, she was reminded of a simpler time. When she and Kaine had gone skinny dipping one summer, decades ago when they were much younger. She rose up from the water greeted by Invicta's warmth.

The two looked at one another for a moment too long before looking back toward their husband. Each one wearing a playful smirk upon their faces. They enjoyed one another's company and more often than not schemed to get the Emperor of the Sith Empire to commit to events that he otherwise wouldn't. Like this one. And oh, were they ever enjoying the payout.

[member="Fiolette Raaf"] [member="Kaalia Pavanos"]

Normally, no almost completely always, Taeli Raaf would not be at a water park or the beach, even artificial in nature. She just found them boring, thinking she could be doing something else with her time. She had so many experiments to be running, creatures to be making, dastardly plots to weaken the enemies of the Sith. And yet, here she was with her wife and little girl, in a dark two piece suit that complimented her assets very nicely if her wife was to be believed. She had just set out the family towels on a chair, and of course, a book was in her bag.

"Now don't go running off too far, Nerra," she said to her daughter. "Mommy needs to put sunscreen on you first before you can go play."

Artificial redirection of sunlight or not, the little girl would still need protection from the sun's rays.

"But Mommy! Azarin is awready pwaying!" the little girl exclaimed, grumbling as Taeli rubbed the white cream onto her skin. Taeli was personally tutoring her daughter, and it looked like she had already acquired her mother's inquisitive mind and want to absorb all knowledge put before her. The dark little sparkle in her eye.

"Going into the water, dear?" she asked Fiolette, admiring her in her chosen swim wear. Taeli wasn't going into the water anytime soon, but she figured Fiolette would.

Tilly's Pond

Taeli could always find something to do, something, what was the word she loved to use? Productive. Fiolette reminded Taeli that those projects would always be there, but time with their daughter? Hardly so. Nerralyn was three now, and it seemed that only yesterday she had arrived kicking and screaming into this galaxy. There she was, a toddler with the attitude of a teenager - a threenager is what her oldest called this phase. It also helped that Fiolette managed to get Taeli in a very happy mood prior to their arrival at the Adventure Park. Fiolette's older children would be there as well, Lucy with her soon-to-be husband, Calvin Halscott a delightful lad full of wit and charm. Ryssa who recently accepted a job at Primo Victorian, and then Ariel - Ariel had recently been accepted to a prestigious university on Galidraan.

Josef only mentioned that he'd be late to the park, something about a date. Fio curiously awaited to meet her ex's new love, but while she waited the Admiral watched her youngest child get an application or two of sunscreen. "I'm sure you'll be playing with Azarin in no time, Nerra, and you'll have sissy with you."

Nerralyn did seem to enjoy her time with Lucy and the girls, and the smile the girl wore all but told the truth of it. "Hey!" Lucy's voice was heard first and as Fio turned using her hand to shield her eyes from the sunlight. There came Lucy with Calvin, her sisters not too far behind - Ariel with sunglasses that were nearly the size of her head. Ryssa didn't bother much with sunglasses or a bathing suit, she wore a pair of shorts with a cut-up shirt. Ariel was in a slim fitting one-piece and preferred to take her seat beside Taeli, rather than engage in water activities. Quietly, Ariel waited as Lucy set their bags down and dug through for a book. Fiolette managed to get a smile out of Ariel before turning to her older two daughters.

"We would have been here sooner, except someone decided they were going to change their clothes, again."

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't sure what to wear," Calvin quipped while Ryssa rolled her eyes. "Wow, it's like she can see in the back of her head like that!"

Lucy held back her laughter and Ryssa made quite the obscene gesture with her hand before turning to her baby sister. "C'mon Nerra, I'll take you to Azarin and leave these losers behind."

"Oi," Lucy feigned offense and took off after Ryssa who held Nerralyn close to her body and rushed toward the water with the three-year-old squealing in delight.

Fiolette gave Taeli a once overlook and took it all in if she hadn't already taken in the sight of her wife in a two-piece. She did now, a sultry smirk crossed her lips as she went over and placed but the softest of kisses upon the sweetest woman there. Most would never see that side of Taeli, something FIolette did not take for granted. "Yes, I am certainly going to have a splash, I'm sure you and Ariel will just have a wonderful conversation!" In silence. She didn't say it, but she didn't need to - Ariel was already deep into a book, non-Fiction regarding politics during the Clone Wars. Fiolette meanwhile snuck up on her youngest daughter as the group approached the Pavanos family.

After Kaalia made herself comfortable on the chair her attention moved to the bag that was placed next to her. She reached into it and out came a sun hat and a pair of sunglasses, which where then put on. She was content watching the kids play in the pool for now, so a little extra protection against the sun was definitely not unnecessary. The twins had already climbed their way up one of the slides and their mother looked on in amusement as they went down it and into the pool. Being able to simply sit back and relax for a while was a welcome change of pace with how hectic daily life had gotten, espcially after Azarin came into the family. Kaalia wouldn't have wanted it any other way, but days like these helped her to recharge her battery a little.

The redhead chuckled at Ishana's remark, knowing her wife was probably not too far from the truth. "I can see if I can set up a playdate sometime." The arrival of Kaalia's sisters-in-law marked the end of the topic being discussed. "Hey," said as she greeted them with a wave, before they walked by and towards their nieces. Kaalia had not seen them in a little while so she would catch up with them later, once the twins decided it was time for a break.

As Kaalia was watching the twins enjoy themselves in the pool, she wouldn't have noticed the approach of Fiolette and a number of her children had it not been for Azarin excitedly exclaiming "Nerra! Nerra!" while bouncing on Ishana's lap. "So good to see you," Kaalia said in greeting to Fiolette as she took off her sunglasses and placed them onto the chair before standing up. Her attention shifted to Nerralyn for a moment with a "hello" while bending her knees slightly to place her eyes at equal height to the three-year-old that was being held by someone who she assumed was another of Fiolette's daughters. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you two before. My name's Kaalia, that is my wife Ishana, our youngest daughter Azarin, and the two little troublemakers in the pool over there are Xariah and Xarielle."

Shadow Hand
Top Poster Of Month
This was rare.

To see the Shadow Hand anywhere near water parks, beaches, or events of such an extremely mundane nature. These were the sort of things that mortals, the unwashed masses attended as pleasant distractions in their daily lives. For centuries he spent maximizing every minute, of every day ensuring it was always spent productively. In his life the rarest days were the ones where he didn't kill someone. Most recently his many duties ensured he was busy virtually every day with an innumerable amount of subjects drawing his attention. Most of all it was his job to look out for his nephew [member="Darth Carnifex"], to remain vigilant against any and all threats against the family. Most wouldn't ever see his work if they were lucky as so many threats were disposed of quickly, quietly, and efficiently. To spend a day wasting time at an amusement park almost seemed offensive in his mind.

In his childhood such pleasantries were stripped away. All of his time was spent between academia, combat training, and shadowing his father to learn the ways of a King's Court. The fact that his younger siblings hated him just complemented the competitive mindset, to think of them more as rivals than actual family. When he was just the age of fifteen he was already the Grand Champion of the Arena. For House Zambrano the ways of Magnus the Great still echoed through the halls of their castles, and Magnus would turn in his grave to see the family at such an event now.

Only [member="Braith Achlys"] could convince him to attend such an event.

If there was one thing she detested was all of the military and political talk, it wasn't something his beloved couldn't stand. It was her voice that ultimately convinced him to finally attend. It only compounded the decisions to attend when he was informed of Kaine's desire to attend the parks festivities along with the entire family. Security had been a nightmare to lock it down but it was done efficiently. So there stood Darth Prazutis - Braxus Zambrano wearing just a bathing suit bottom, his black hair was cut short and he was completely clean shaven. The massive, muscular torso was put on display as intricate tattoos sat atop an innumerable amount of battle scars from ages past, marring his form. Many were so rough they almost looked surreal, as if it wasn't possible one man could survive as much as he had, but he did. Beside him walked his wife as they made their way to where his family was gathered. In truth he always had a place beside Kaine, but today? It wasn't about his nephew, it was about him and Braith. She had a very tense relationship with his nephew. So for today? They would enjoy their own place a healthy distance away, the Emperor was out of sight. He put his arm around her as they walked to where their towels, and umbrellas were.

"What do you think?"

If there was one upside from all of this, it was the waggle of his wives' hips as they sauntered away from him. Multiple pregnancies had enhanced their figures wonderfully, the curvature of motherhood suited them exceptionally well. Fatherhood has affected him less than one would expect, his current appearance was more attributed to the inevitable cellular degeneration brought on by the continued indulgence in the Dark Side of the Force. He's managed to stave off the worst side-effects of his phenomenal powers through scientific manipulation, his current body being one of his crowning achievements in biotechnological cloning.

Yet, it could not fully be circumvented. The Force would always claim its due in the end.

As both Salara and Invicta moved to enjoy the refreshing surf that lapped up against the artificial beach, the Emperor was not left wanting. His other wives took advantage of their absence to demand the Emperor's attention, Saijo plopping herself right in his lap and leaning back to nibble and peck at his grizzled jawline. Antanasia dominated his left wing, her vibrant silver hair shining gloriously in the redirected sunlight, his fingers tracing both her husband's battle and ritual scars. On his right was Visian, her crimson skin beaded with sweat and glowing radiantly; Thsuati encapsulated in her sensual embrace. Emma and and Ahani were elsewhere, both enjoying each other's companies while generously allowing the other wives to partake of their shared husband.

No doubt the Emperor's many concubines, both male and female, would linger on the periphery. Each awaiting their turn to indulge in the master's umbral presence.

Sylara had been relaxing on her own beach towel right next to the Emperor's and his wives, garbed in a fashionable black bikini as she sunbathed in the warm rays from above. She'd been reading one of her novels when she spotted the Emperor returning from his "swim" in the water. She retrieved a bottle of sun cream from her bag, before arising from her towel and heading over to her liege and his lovely wives. She gently plonked herself down on her knees behind him, removing the lid from the sun cream bottle and squirting some of it's contents onto her hand before she began to apply it to the Emperor's skin. "I must admit, my liege, I didn't expect to be sun bathing in the middle of Kaas City. This was a lovely idea.", she said with a slight chuckle, rubbing her hands over his shoulders.

When she finished applying it, she tossed the now empty bottle of sun cream aside, affectionately resting her head upon his shoulder and wrapping her arms around his muscular torso in a tender embrace, planting a smooch upon his cheek. Several of her concubine underlings joined her, lavishing their affections upon him like the dutiful servants they were. "I hope you are enjoying yourself, my liege. Would you or your most beautiful wives like any refreshments?", the Togruta said in a sultry, tender tone of voice.

Zazie was more than happy to see her friend Nerralyn. Nerra sounded more like Nerwa, and as Ishana looked out toward the horizon there indeed came the Lord Admiral and her brood. Ishana and Fiolette were civil at best and perhaps more so now that their families were present. "Okay hang on there, Starbuck." The fighter pilot scooped her daughter up and shifted the child to her back. "Are we secure pilot?"

"YEA!" Zazie exclaimed, as Ishana 'flew' Azarin to the shallow edge of the pool. There, she and Nerra not only hugged but began to jibber-jabber as toddlers do. Their own unique language that no one else save for perhaps one of the parents could understand. Ishana stood there for a moment or two watching them, and as she watched them Lucy and Ryssa along with their mother spoke with Kaalia.

"No, I don't believe we have although we hear a great deal," Lucy commented and then introduced herself, "I'm Lucy Yvarro and this is my fiancé Calvin Halscott, and-"

Ryssa bumped her sister with her hip, "and I'm Ryssa Yvarro." The brunette smirked and watched as others came over, one introduced themselves as Dali Pavanos - Ishana's sister. That's when Ishana turned around to watch the gaggle of people for a bit. It was nice to have this time together, she and the Lord Admiral had a slight nod of acknowledgment toward one another. These were the moments that they lived for - especially as Dali and her husband swam over to lift Azarin onto their shoulders. Nerralyn in similar fashion was scooped up by her sister Lucy, and Calvin not too far behind.

Safe to say the girls were safe in the arms of their family members. The twins were with Ishana's sister Ali, and were soon joined by Ryssa in a bit of a splashing game, "well..."

The pilot found that she and her wife were alone. Quietly the Balmorran closed the distance between herself and the Kro Varian, "Hey babe." She said with a wink, "how you doin?" A waggle of her brow, a flex and come hither motion as she gave a slight nod of her head toward the shaded area. Out in the distance, the Lord Admiral was seen heading toward her own wife to enjoy the quiet moment.

It was not unusual for the other wives to quickly fill in the void left behind by Invicta and herself. She smiled knowing that her husband would be entertained, pleased even by the other wives and concubines. It was then that Salara had to wonder just where Iza had gotten off to, it was hard to tell with a shapeshifter. Still she knew there was a way to know - when Iza wanted it. Until then she was content with Invicta in her arms, at least for now. The waters were kept at a pristine comfortable temperature, days like these were indeed far and few between.

Servants they had, want there was not many for the family Zambrano but it was simply a nicety. The first wife of Kaine Zambrano went as far as she could walk before letting the waters carry her. Floating along the waves she knew it would not be long before Invicta arrived- or perhaps Izaszh as Invicta. When she closed her eyes the petite Epicanthix could feel the warm rays of that artificial sun collect along her skin. The cool touch of the water beneath her. "Darling..." her voice was above a whisper she could feel the presence of a loved one nearby.

Lucy and Calvin received individual nods of the head from Kaalia in greeting as the former introduced both herself and her fiancé, while Ryssa's was accompanied by an amused scoff. "I have heard my fair share myself, as well. It's good to be able to put the actual faces and those stories together." Her attention shifted to Lucy and Calvin specifically for a moment. "And congratulations on the engagement. I hope the wedding planning hasn't been too much of a headache yet," she added with a hint of a grin.

One by one everybody went on to do their own thing and before Kaalia knew it, the only one who was still around her was Ishana. This was a fact that quite clearly wasn't lost on her wife, either, as she had already drawn the redhead's attention. Kaalia couldn't help but roll her eyes and let out a sarcastic "smooth," but after walking up to her wife's ear that was followed up with a more subtle message. "I am doing quite well, now that you ask," her response sounded.

Before following Ishana into the shade Kaalia turned to look behind her for a moment, looking to account for all three of the kids. Xariah and Xarielle were playing with Ali, while Azarin was playing with Nerralyn with Dali and her husband there to keep an eye out. With that assurance she turned her attention back to her wife. "Let's find someplace quiet, shall we?"
