Universal Mining, or UniMine, is the oldest subsidiary of Hex Incorporated, founded out of necessity to procure resources for the parent company when buying from other companies became too expensive. By far the most important subsidiary, UniMine's job is to reach out to other planets and find resources needed for Hex Incorporated to survive and expand.
A subsidiary of Hex Incorporated, and also one of the oldest under the parent company, AgriCorp is a company that places heavy emphasis on the growth and development of planets. Its goal is to reach out and help to develop farms, build cities and infrastructure, and to aid in the rebuilding of planets torn apart by war. It is almost always paired up with UniMine in order to repair any damage caused by the harvesting of minerals and resources.
The youngest company and only a subsidiary in name, GalacMed is a non-profit organisation established to aid in the advancements of medical research and to aid those in need. Its goal is to lend aid to the constant war tearing the galaxy apart, without any expectations of profit. With hospitals and pharmacies on a myriad of planets, paramedical units on standby, and a medical fleet ready to help victims of war across the galaxy, GalacMed is there to patch the galaxy together, one planet at a time.
The bodyguards of Hex Incorporated, the Hellion Private Military Company is an army in charge of overseeing and protecting any and all operations explored by its parent company. However, the Hellions are also a mercenary army for hire by anyone who can afford them, whether they are a simple shop or ship crew, or an Empire in need of more troops.
A defensive measure to not only keep an eye on the galaxy as a whole, but also to keep an eye on the employees of the company. Hex Internal Security, or InterSec, is an obscure branch within the company in charge of keeping the company, and whatever alleged secrets it may hold, secure.
