DESCRIPTION
The youngest company and only a subsidiary in name, GalacMed is a non-profit organisation established to aid in the advancements of medical research and to aid those in need. Its goal is to lend aid to the constant war tearing the galaxy apart, without any expectations of profit. With hospitals and pharmacies on a myriad of planets, paramedical units on standby, and a medical fleet ready to help victims of war across the galaxy, GalacMed is there to patch the galaxy together, one planet at a time.

RATIONALE
Originally nothing more than a medical aid for Hex employees, GalacMed soon found a new mission as more citizens of Denon desperately needed some sort of medical assistance for the myriad of dangers throughout its levels. At first it started as a paramedic unit, but as the parent company grew, so did GalacMed's capabilities. It didn't take long for the organisation to not need any income from its clients despite all of the costly expenses it took to take care of millions of patients.

However, it was also the first to come under fire over some controversial claims, such as using homeless patients to test new products on, some even deadly to the subject. Another claim was that the organisation is little more than a money laundering scheme for the parent company, though all of these controversies were swept under the rug due to no illegal actions being taken and the important services the organisation provides.
