Due to her momma having been called away, Saffron would enter as Danger's proxy. She had her list of items the Trade Queen desired, so she would keep tabs on the bids from others very carefully.

For now, she would practice reading everyone much like a Zeltron -- empathic abilities blooming with the Force. They were getting easier to manage, and she was able to focus and pin point better.

The blast of sensations and emotions from all would be a headache, and at times their emotions would feel as if they were her very own.

Practice made perfect, and she needed to be able to learn to control.

"Feth it." Larraq said at last, losing patience with the steadily increasing credit bids of superfluousness.

"Production rights for the Vulcan Mass-Driver Flak Cannon with 5% Royalties per unit to Mandal Hypernautics." Larraq said as he placed his newest bid. "For everything. For the whole fething auction."

Finishing his statement, Larraq leaned back in his chair and knocked back his Vodka and Orange-juice.

Aless dropped out of the auction and couldn't complain. If the vulcan offer followed through, TCC ships would be flying them within the year. Either way, it was a win-win, and it would be unwise of her to deny a good thing.
"I humbly withdraw," she said quaintly. "Good day."

Leave something for the rest of us. These auctions are always completely dominated by the same few people doing the same thing.... :(

The message she received involving an update on the item she was bidding for was rather surprising, anger inducing even. She wanted a single item. Just one. Perhaps everyone in the galaxy hated her friend, maybe everyone should - she didn't care. But Silara wasn't about to let every last thing that [member="Enigma"] had come to love get divvied up and sold just because a few selfish Xealonera decided to gang up on her and her corporation. What had set her off, something that hadn't occurred when she heard the news of one the corporate headquarters being sacked, was the ridiculous bid that a [member="Captain Larraq"] had made. She had no personal vendetta with him, but the circumstances were pitting her against him, and he against her. "This is fething ridiculous." She grumbled, completely beside herself at the bid Larraq had placed to trump hers. For a moment she even contemplated the thought of selling herself into slavery, leaving everything to a daughter whom was yet to be produced through cloning. In fact, that's exactly what she decided to do in her moment of delirium.

Wide hazel eyes would peer curiously at the man knocking back his vodka and orange juice. The emotions she was feeling radiate from his direction were quite interesting indeed.

Frustration, a lack of patience, and then finally, resolution. Determination.

What a curious curio, she'd muse, as she would continue to use the Force to sense subtle changes in emotions and in body. Practice makes perfect, and stumbling steps will allow her to try and narrow things down more and more.

Her end goal would be one day to be a living lie detector.

OOC: No offense [member="Captain Larraq"] but that was a jerk move.
EDIT: OOC: And that, [member="Darth Morgoth"], was a even more of a jerk move.

Melkor walked back in, he had a risky idea but it was worth it. He walked over and said "For the Entire small arms lot, and Entire Droid and vechicle lot, I bid 1 million per item rights. Plus 10 percent royalties on the Vulcan Proton Cannon. PLUS 30% Royalties on the profits from anything won in this auction. And a personal favor from Melkor Morgoth"

[member="Noah Corek"] Ik right?}

cr1,600,000 each for the following.
  • SKD-88 Combat Droid
  • SVD-97 Surveillance Droid
  • Collector Droids
  • GRD-88 Grapple Droid

cr2,175,500 for the following.
  • SI/BTI-X041 "Mirari" Bodyguard Droid

These bids come with the reminder that Hegemonic Automaton is actually capable of delivering them, whereas it is dubious the Corek and Morgoth individuals do. When you choose Hegemonic Automaton, you're not just choosing a large influx of cash. You're choosing a large influx of cash from a reliable organization that makes pragmatic, reasonable bids and neglects to overestimate the exact amount of revenue the company generates and can afford to spend on acquiring new droid models.

And really, isn't it better to go with bids from those types of organizations?
