A mere day before the sudden announcement of an massive Subach Innes auction, every employee found themselves without a job and six months of severance pay. The message they received was the same one that many throughout the galaxy were now seeing.

Taking place over the Holonet, there was only a ten credit buy-in. The host was a nondescript man, not noteworthy in any sense. Every schematic for sale included the complete master design file, as well as the legal exclusive production rights. While no one could just copy the file from an image, it was easy to determine that these were legitimate files. No chance on getting burned.

Those items that had been made for political or corporate entities would be given preferential treatment on acquisition.

Design price points were made according to listed prices of comparable ships on the Wookiepedia times seven. Bids for single ships for private collectors can be made. The minimum bid for these is one tenth the starting design bid price.

Note 3:
The auction will close in a little more than seventy-two (72) hours, at 8 PM EST on the 26th.

While Silara was sure that something would come up and she'd hear news of this from the [member="Enigma"] herself, she had still decided to attend the auction herself to make sure to secure some valuables both for Laravan Corp. and in the instance her acquaintance found herself in want of old assets and designs with legal holds on rights. Eyeing through the vehicle and weapon design lists, she settled on a couple and decided she would be hard pressed to go down on a bid for them and stuck with them. Flicking her wrist up, fingers stroking the screen of her datapad softly, Silara made several quick taps to send her bid.

Aless and Circe's daughter had an agreement, as two parties in a supply contract, that Aless would help and would not compete with her bids. Most of the things up for grabs in this particular auction, however were - in Saera's eyes - junk. With the exception of the Adjudicator SBD which she already had fifty percent patent rights to, there wasn't really anything that caught her eye or RRDI did not already produce some model of. It did not betray that agreement for Aless to pick up a few bits and pieces for her newly purchased company.
What the corporation and the woman could not pay for, if it came to it, the government budget of the Crystalsong Commonwealth would.

Honestly these sorts of things weren't normally to her liking. She preferred her company to make its own products. Droid design wasn't even in their repertoire. . . .yet. All the same, it looked like a good deal. At the very least because the design would likely be very useful in the future. Besides with just one item looking for purchase, they could afford to be more likely to spend and get the rights since everyone else was paying so much more to try for multiple products.
