It was only a matter of time before something like this happened.

That the tenuous control over the Warlord would no longer work in the face of a bout of unrelenting bloodlust. The Directory expected to suffer more than many friendly casualties... and the Admiral, though he dreaded it, expected that at some point the Captain's luck would run out. After all, the man worked closest to the insanity of the Warlord.

They had merely hoped that Zambrano the Hutt could have formed a true friendship with the Captain, rather than the Warlord's vision of what it meant to befriend someone.

It was a folly to hope as much though, from the start, it was a folly.

Captain Slika was slated to die...

... but he was only the first casualty of his rampage...

The Hutt sniffled as his ship, silently approached the planet, but never truly intending to land upon it. There was no reason or sense in this expedition... much as there was no reason or sense which drove his motivation to kill his own Captain... or indeed, every last living thing on his ship.

A body bleeding on the floor, it's back lacerated into unrecognizable form. A body dismembered and pinned to the ceiling with a rusted vibroblade acting as the stake, leaking blood in drips.

Carbon scoring marked the bridge, and indeed upon the Warlord himself. Crisp flesh crackled under the movement of his arms, a body after body had each of their heads positioned just so, to look upon Zambrano's greatness. One such corpse, had a head completely snapped in half and readjusted onto its body to view the Dark Lord.

Blood stained the ship, gore coated it, and the stench bound it all together...

...even...

...even the Vaapad.

Legacy, Vaak Lest's YT-2400 flagship, broke the atmosphere of the hot, hellish world of Aeten II. Funny how he had just been on Hoth a few days ago, literally the opposite of this world here. [member="Lord Ajihad"] sent Vaak a message about earning some more pay. "Come help the Sith take this world from the dirty hands of the Republic and there's some bonus pay in it for you", he said.

"Deal"

Vaak opened up a channel with his boss. Over the past few days, Vaak asked around at some cantinas and learned a bit about the Jedi and Sith. As much as he heard, they're magical warriors on opposite ends of morality. Vaak could see why they were usually so much more expensive bounties. "Hey, boss, Legacy here. Where ya want me?"

Naga made his way into the mineing station through some vents on the exterior when he opened the vents he saw 2 miners below him and grinned as he leaped down and with quick succession sliced both mines throats open with his claws and continued further down the facility looking for any Stygium or rebels. Mostly rebels he loved to kill but he knew the real reason why we are here. and he had no intention of screwing up this raid.

She had to admit, her Apprentice was a good fighter. He was quite strong and fast, though sometimes thoughtless. Ophidia reached into the minds of the three last guards forcing them to stand up straight. However, this time she did not opt for suicide. This time, she had them turn and march down the hall in front of them.

“Scouting party. In case we stumble upon any traps.”

With her right hand extended in front, Ophidia walked ten metres behind the three guards. Her eyes were still closed as she relied on the Force for sight. Through her Force Sight, she could see a vault further down. Considering the extra security, she was ready to bet it was full of something valuable. While [member="Xavka Duquo"] and Darth Ophidia was probing down the corridor and the Sith Assassins were carving their way through the staff, droids were seeking out and gathering up all the available Stygium in the refinery. The valuable resource would be taken to the freighters and shipped off-world to satisfy the needs of the One Sith’s Warmachine.

Iziz had been sent to get some stygium crystals, branded and weaker than usual due to his fight with Ferus, he was not feeling the best about himself, the young Jawa had a lot to think about... when it came to justice, the force, and what was best for the galaxy, but for now, he had to follow orders like a good soldier and not question the goals of the one sith. He had been sent here to collect crystals, and while that was true and he was pursuing that goal, he was going to do something a little more radical. Going for one of the refining factories, he knew that there would be scientists among them who would be adept at working with the crystals, kidnapping them and putting them on the sith payroll, as well as taking the refined materials from their silos would be more beneficial than taking them from the mine... as they were already mined.

Activating his cloaking device, it was all too easy to slit the throats of the guards which had been posted there. Cutting one from stealth and darting to the other, leaping on his chest and putting the hidden blade through his adams apple and back of his tongue so that the only noise the guards let out would be a low gurgle... The process would take some time, moving from place to place with the stealth generator wrapped around him, moving from guard post to guard post and eliminating the pair which would be there and waiting... though soon, the deeds would be done... the last place to hit would be the cameras of the facility, sleuthing through corridors for the location of the enemy and then finally opening the door and eliminating the final few guards in the room with a swathe of blows form his lightsabers, he checked the cameras for the location of the engineers and geologists which would be present in the area.

Looking over the video footage, he could see many of them at the time were working and in the refineries, processing and working the mineral from supervising positions, each of them were more than easy targets, places like these which were regulated by law were no more or less guarded than the average power plant, they provided a service, and when that service was regulated by military councils to not sell to other places, and the supply for the crystals being exceedingly low in the area because of it, it was understandable that they actually had a security force, but, isolation and idleness weakened them... now that they were being hunted, not for their crystals so much as their knowledge, the pickings were almost too easy. Looking to his datapad, he callled to his pilot droid to bring the ship in to a nearby landing pad and await his arrival with the prisoners.

ETA 15 minutes.

More than enough time... Running from the room, the blur of his cloaking field was more of a cover than anything else, obscuring him as a blur and as a shadow more than making him invisible. Charging for the refinement areas, Iziz would eventually find his way in, dozens of workers processing the gems into silos which would be transferred into council vaults so to never be seen again unless people gained special permission from the planet's government... Which seemed like jumping through the beurocratic hoops that Iziz so desperately hated... Looking over the workers, Iziz drew the high grade thermal detonator and strolled into the room, arming the bomb, dropping his stealth and drawing one of his crimson lightsaber blades, flourishing it in order to gain the attention of those around him...

they saw, and confusion turned to realisation, and that realisatiion bred fear...

palpable fear.

Moving into the center of the room Iziz ordered in basic that all scientists, head engineers and members of the R&D team come to the middle of the room while the remaining members of staff began putting crystals into a repullsarlift trolley, one cart of them would be more than enough for Iziz's haul... there was some indecision, so, with a single lightsaber throw, Iziz carined his blade through the chests of several of the workers, ending their pitiful lives due to non--complience... with fear now motivating them, those who were asked to step forward did so, while the others began to work rapidly. Having only struck down several men, Iziz had made a special note to recoil the strike from hitting one of the female workers... not sure the emotion he was feeling, though, the Jawa saw in her the fear which women had felt at the time of the basin being made... the mental scars began to tear, and the Jawa remembered their cries...

he didn't want to hear those again.

With the scientists in place, Iziz linked their hands to the mining cart with chains and looked over the remaining workers, setting the power-setting of the thermal detonator to its maximum blast range, more than enough to destroy a massive portion of the facility and perhaps even burn some of the rest to the ground depending on if there were any volatile chemicals in play. placing the thermal detonator on the ground Iziz began to leave with his bounty. looking back at the fearful souls which he was likely going to bury under tonnes of molten steal.

... thinking...

It was only when one of them was brave enough to order him to let them go that the Jawa thought about this, he was not one for murder... then he would be like ferus... but perhaps testing them? was the thing he had to accomplish. Though he had not began the count-down, he looked to the workers and opened his mouth to speak, projecting his voice with the force as he looked over each and every one of them. he could see the fear in their eyes, but in some of them, he saw a will and a determination, so, Iziz thought it best to teach these people a lesson, some of them had no doubt worked to be here, while others had been placed here of means out-side of their hands... The jawa had to admire determination.

"Alright, to all of you, listen, because I'm only going to say this once, I am not going to let you go... you are going to escape, from the moment I prime this explosive, it is up to all of you, to escape its radius... which should be about 100 meters... It can go through walls... you can't... so not all of you are going to live... some of you have a will to survive, while others of you do not... I am going to take this door to my dropship... all those who can reach there before i take off may join me within the Sith Assassins as workers and live a life of your own making and pave your own way to greatness... to those who flee and survive, you will have earned the right to live... while those who do not... failed that right of passage... this is the way of the sith... we are fair."

Iziz walked to the door as his words sank in, looking back and waving his hands, activating the timer on the bomb, closing the door behind him and crushing the opening mechanism with telekinesis... should any wish to join him, they would have to find another way around... it was by far, the most perilous path... And So, Iziz with his captives hurried to the location of his dropship.

There was panic and chaos, some people broke down and embraced one another while others fought to free themselves, Iziz could feel the anger, desperation and hate. While some had given in to fear and desperation and gone mad with the threat on their lives, Iziz scoffed at their weakness, while a few of them seemed to have risen to the challenge, Iziz attempted to see them through the force, and keep an eye on them, though, this was hard for him, he was better at sensing their emotions than anything else. But, as the timer counted down to the 2 minute explosive thresh-hold, he had arrived at his ship with little more than thirty seconds to spare. He could see in the distance a few people managing to run from the facility, while it was obvious to him that many had been injured due to the in-fighting and the panic and had been left behind or simply lost their way. Iziz felt better about himself as he watched them, but, as he moved for the ship, ordering his droid to take off, he was surprised to see the woman who had spoken out against him... there was fire in her eyes, and in the eyes of the half dozen extra people who followed her.

Iziz could not help but smile and bow in their direction... they had risked everything with seconds to spare to change their lives and seek greatness. Offering a hand, the Jawa aided them fairly onto his ship, and took to the skies.

His cargo was aboard, and with moments to spare there was a scream as the explosion erupted from the facility. Ripping through the steel walls as if they were nothing as everything came crashing down. with likely more than a hundred people dead and no more than thirty or forty survivors... but at least those people got to live knowing that they had gone through a crucible and come out on the other side as stronger people. Iziz looked to the people who were in the cabin of his craft with him, as he launched for the direction of home base, looking over the assaults on the mines which the other sith had accomplished, as they would see fire and smoke rise from the horizon.

"Welcome to the Sith Assassins..."

The Jawa spoke, not with malice or evil or poison in his voice, but rather with an estranged and almost mystical calm and mirth, it seemed to throw of some of them, but not the woman who had spoken out, Iziz met her eyes and saw greatness.

"You there... what's your name?"

Iziz asked, pointing and sitting down on one of the many allocated seating arrangements... the woman paused for a moment, frozen as the spotlight was on her... revealing herself to be Clara Winters, a Corellian from Brokerellia who had managed to survive the impact she had been shipped here for labour, she was a structural engineer but had been doing gruntwork here to to a lack of positioning... she also lead the other five who followed her to his ship in the nick of time... Iziz was impressed. So, he sent a message ahead.

"I'll have a word to the boss... [member="Darth Ferus"] ... I have stygium and mix of captured scientists and... volunteers to begin working for the Sith assassins... on a side note... some of them show some promise in their fields, I will bring them to you for a meeting and to decide how they are placed... En Route~"

And with that... he left the site.

Sage lifted his dagger high and thrust it into the creature's head, right where he supposed the brain would be. He twisted the knife in and upwards, sending viscera and grey matter flying outwards to spatter across the cavern wall. The creature slumped forward and then toppled, sprawling on its stomach. Sage climbed off the hulking corpse and inspected his thigh wound. It was worrisome. The terentatek's claws contained a lethal venom that would kill him if he did not get medical treatment soon.

Sage called for his troops to bring a repulsorlift skiff to haul off the body for skinning. Then he hobbled to his transport. An antidote he had specially prepared was waiting on his star destroyer, but he was losing precious time. His limbs felt heavy as the effects of the venom began to cripple him. It would be a cruel twist of fate for Sage to have fought in innumerable wars and battles only to fall ill from terentatek venom. As the transport shuttle began its ascent to the stars, he watched the planet grow smaller and smaller until it was a tiny dot, an insignificant fleck the endless darkness of space.
