"My Assassins, you know the mission. Get in quick, clean, and leave no one alive."
The solemn voice of Darth Ferus sounded off over the com channel of the Sith Assassins. Short range, perhaps far enough to cover a small building, for the Assassins were loaded into a shipment container. Flying a rather simple Freighter filled with nothing but space and assassins, the Aspect of War had a simple goal.
Land this into the largest Stygium facility on Aeten II, kill everyone inside, and take all the Stygium. To this effect he had several loader droids mixed in with the Assassins stored in the back. Hidden Blades only, that was the challenge. On both of his wrists were his own, hidden underneath a simple workers outfit. All the Assassins were given these, and there was no place to hide any extra weapon.
"We're about to enter atmo. Be ready."

The crescendo of a cry, echoing through space. The wail of a monster, bereft of thought or it's consideration, tumbling through hyperspace. And with it's rapture and the luminous vomit from the throws of such means of transit, the Teleute exited hyperspace above the planet of Aetan II. At the interface between control and war, the Wrath sat in the vice grip of his vonduun armor. It heaved and it breathed, it communed with him and his arm and the deeds he would complete for these purposes. The purposes of control and conquest.

Standing from the throne, nestled in the cranium of the ship, he approached the villip corresponding with the oogzil. Hearing the intent, he smiled and placed the helmet upon his head. With a fleeting glance to those who took the helm, he secured the chom-huun to his back spikes and cracked his neck. The vonduun would shiver at the resounding appeal, cracking the shells of lesser things to suck out the innards. The vessel would be a slayer ship, of which numerous were hoisted into the belly of the beast. And as Gabriel wandered into the nearly force imbued ship, he wondered what sort of treasures might be on the planet. Or more importantly, from whom he could rip the treasures. Their pain and loss was the only thing he currently valued.

The Slayer shipped roared from the embrace of the monster, tumbling towards the planet in a screech of it's own.

This was the second Stygium raid Animus had been a Part of, however this time Animus was not only surprised to see that he was not bringing his weapons he was curious... But instead he was bringing a Hidden blade. This world was not of Animus' liking, it was a Harsh hard to breathe atmosphere and the very temperature was Oppressive, Volcanic regions and massive clouds of Sulfur and Brimstone. Animus walked towards the primary refinery, his mission was simple... retrieve Stygium for the Sith Assassins, Kill everyone stupid enough to stand in his way and be back in Glee Anselm before Supper.

Once he was arriving the facilities defenses were made clear. The front guards prepared and primed with Weapons, the Twi'leks were Armored in what looked like Expensive Armor. Using the hedges and small stone hills that covered the Valleys that lead to the entrance Animus found it easy to get Close and a few meters from the Main guard... His hidden blade came out of his sheet as he Jumped from a large stone and dove both of his wrists into the Chests of the Guard then disappearing before the Spotlight Hit him or noticed the bodies that he dragged from under him.

Grunting softly at the words [member="Darth Ferus"] had said, Xavka bowed his head in meditation as he awaited for the Freighter he was aboard to come to a land. He was crammed between two mining droids and dressed in an old set of workers uniforms, that were not even slightly close to his chosen outfit in comfort. That was why he was meditation as best he could, so as to ignore the itchiness of the clothes, how cramped area he was in was along with the heat and so as to block out the pain in the stump of what was once his left arm as it kept being knocked against and would more than likely continue to hurt until he had adrenaline in his system.

Strapped to Xavka's wrist were also something that he rarely wore, the Hidden Blade of the Sith Assassins. Xavka himself preferred his Emeici or Senbon Needles for the close range assassination, or even a simple dagger as he had always considered the Blades cumbersome and imitating when they were strapped on. However, he had decided to relent this time to see just how well he could use the Blades during the raid and to consider adding them to his arsenal on a permanent basis. There was also the fact that there was no use bringing his Emeici or Senbon as they would not work for the mission as the pouch he held them in would stand out.

Xavka suddenly let out a growl and gasp mix as his stump was once again knocked against, sending flares of white hot pain through his nerves to his brain where it flared like lightning and broke his meditation. Sighing, he shifted slightly and adjusted the strap of the Hidden Blade through the Force, cursing his lack of a left arm once again. Cracking his neck, Xavka prepared to leave the Freighter and begin his attack, absentmindedly he began to extend and retract the Hidden Blade.

It had been a while since she and Gabriel had wrecked shop together, and she wouldn't hesitate to admit that she missed those moments of intense bonding between them. During the Rapture, the two Sith had brought down countless regimes side-by-side, or working together in ways that were less obvious to the eye. Throwing down doors and slaughtering entirely unprepared soldiers, lobbing grenades and wielding the opposition as live shields while they advanced on whole facilities on their lonesome. Be it a spaceport, a shipyard, a palace, or a prison, the two destroyers needed little beyond their own skill and some well-placed support provided by the other.

It seemed — and, in a sense, was — ages ago now, with wars on a whole another scale under their respective belts. They had less time, now, and far more duties to attend to, but the pair of pain-riddled murderers still shared an invisible tether of a very… curious kind. They rarely talked about it, unless they were sharing a bath in Teleute's hot tub, or happened to be getting plastered with ancient rum on an abandoned husk of a ship.

Vrag snorted lightly and shook her head, her posture relaxing somewhat as she left the bridge of the Imperious in the competent hands of her officers, headed for the hangar in the belly of the imposing ship. With some luck, the two of them would find a challenging enemy to cut through once more, enjoying the simpler pleasures in life while their responsibilities awaited on the other side of the Galaxy.

"Meet you in ten?" she asked simply as she raised the Wrath of the Dark Lord through the villip in her helmet. Her tall, armored figure was soon swallowed by a small contingent of soldiers that poured into the dropship behind her, and then they were off, to conquer the world of Aeten II as they saw fit.

As the One Sith descended on Aeten II looking for Stygium that might or might not be there, depending on who you asked, Sage Bane, Hand of the Dark Lord had other designs on the planet. The Sith Lord had heard that there was a cave of terentatek on the planet, and he was interested in getting some hides of the rare beasts for the new set of Dark Armor he'd planned to create at the Temple of Pain.

How the Korriban beasts got to Aeten II wasn't exactly clear, according to the beast hunters with whom he consulted, it seemed that the creatures had once guarded a long dead Sith Lord's tomb and somehow broke free of whatever magic bound them to the hallowed ground. The terentateks disappeared for a while, and the beast hunters surmised that the animals were hibernating until the Dark Side was strong enough to permeate the land.

A nest of them were last spotted in a cave near one of Aeten II's active volcanoes. The creatures fed on the blood of Force sensitives, so if Sage's assumptions were correct, a whole army of Sith landing on the planet should be enough to rouse the creatures out of hibernation.

Nox had a frown on her face as she adjusted her worker's outfit. The only weapon on her was the hidden blade. She would prefer her crossbow, or even some throwing knives, but she did what [member="Darth Ferus"] told her. The Assassins were there for one thing, and one thing only: stygium. Any who got in the way were to be killed. The Acolyte couldn't wait to spill blood.

She acknowledged Ferus's words with a grunt, her mind concentrating on making sure she was ready for the mission. She had to be committed, had to be ready, had to be willing. She was all of those things and more and the ship creeped closer to their destination.
On this day, her blade would spill blood. She just had to get there.

The mission was clear and simple. The Assassins needed Stygium and the One Sith needed a strategic planet. Aeten II was thus the prime goal. Darth Ophidia stood in Darth Ferus’ freighter. Her eyes were closed, but mentally she imagined the wall in front of her opening and allowing her access to carnage. The Rattataki was clad in a simple worker’s overall with a worn out cap on her head. To either wrist, she had strapped one of the Sith Assassins’ Hidden Blade. Normally, she would only be wearing one, but this was a special occasion: They were going in with only their signature weapon.

As she stood in front of what would become the landing pad, she held her hands clasped behind her back and her feet in a wide and stable position. Her mind immersed itself deep in the Dark Side of the Force. Ophidia called upon its’ power. There would be no mercy, no delay. There would be only Death and reward. The Pale Assassin waited.

Hidden blades. The Sith Assassin's trademark weapon. Ruby had never used this weapon before, preferring her sword. It was a simple concept to use of course. That being don't stab your fingers when you deploy it, and stick 'em with the pointy end. 'Its just like punching people, easy as eating candy'. Ruby unleashed the blade. Sticking out from under her wrist seemed a terrible idea. Maybe she'd make a personalized pair for herself, overhand with a plated glove would be a lot safer. A project for latter. Ruby retracted the blade. Their transport was touching down at the facility. The doors opened up before the landing feet made contact. Ruby wasted no time, bursting from the craft to find the first target.

Animus dragged the Bodies off and tossed them into a Volcanic River of Molten Lava near by his position, careful to stay in the shadows and duck and to stop breathing when the Spotlights hit his near position. After a while the bodies were disposed of and he again donned his dark cloak jumping and darting from rock to rock, under craters made by lava enduring the Harsh oxygen that was poisonous to inhale for long. Once the entrance guards had been dealt with Animus locked his eyes on the Guard Towers surrounding the positions.

With shadows in his back he shimmied through the Vehicular patrol of the Perimeter and once seeing his chance, Force Jumped over the outer wall and clasped the beams of the guard tower. Slowly making his way up the tower with his cloak covering him like a black bed sheet he stayed perfectly still as another Spotlight passed through the lower part of the Guard Tower.

Once the light was away he continued his climb. When he arrived at the top of the Tower Animus quickly noticed that there were Three Guards, one that sat reading a Holopad, Another working the Stop light and the final one who gazed to the place giving Animus his back.
Smiling he jumped to the guard tower and Sliced the throat of the Spot light guard and in a graceful movement pulled the Twi'leks Hair (if that's what you call it) back and stuck the Blade in it's back.

When the last guard pulled out his E-11 Animus used the force to push it into his face Smacking him and then lunged to sink the dagger into his skull, cracking it open and spilling his blood all over the Guard tower. Animus gazed at the Compound as something caught his eye at the far left inside a cave... the Precious Crystal WAS here...

Melori let out a set of expletives as she exited hyperspace and found herself in the middle of an asteroid field.

“Fething useless droid," she said as she her ship’s flight controls. "There's one asteroid field between here and the planet and you exit us from hyperspace right in the middle of it."

The droid bleeped as she punched buttons.

"Of course, I know what I'm doing!" she replied as he checked a sensor scope. "Don't you trust me?"

The droid bleeped again. Melori found herself unable to tear her gaze from the impending nightmare that loomed outside the cockpit's transparisteel window.

The dried bleeped and beeped this time. Melori simply replied, “Relax and just sit back and enjoy the ride."

The ship raced forward and the droid suddenly went quiet. Outside the cockpit window, the chunks of rock faced past. But then the ship whipped past a huge asteroid and distant stars came into view.

“There,” she said. “It was never in doubt. “Plot us a course to land.”

She exited the cockpit and let out a new set of expletives. “Too karking close, way too karking close.”

"Of course..." The words would echo across the emptiness of space, bouncing and reflecting against the surface of the atmosphere, as the ship fell through the orbit - water push hard through a sieve. Flames licked up at the blackened surface, the ship resisted entry - at first. But with a slight edge forward, the planet came into view as the thing soon to be conquered. By whom? Well that remained to be seen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxgYuW5GeI8
Where the ship should have veered off, it pushed forward. The first refinery that came into his sight would meet the reckoning undeserved. The vehicle came down, pressing against the duracrete foothold, as the yaret-kor blasted outwards in triplicate to level the base of the first tower. Ants beneath the foothill, squirming beneath the weight of something they didn't understand. But even so, security would dole out some form of resistance, even as the Sith Lord stepped out from the grip of the Slayer Ship. He patted it a singular time, against the yorik coral, before realizing that the world was alive now - trickling outward with the animosity he so desired to embrace. But with a turn of the helmet, the red eyes reflecting something animalistic, the fire that opened up from turrets would strafe against his armor and joints.

As he consumed of it, or more accurately the vonduun, he let out a laugh. When blasters overheated, the illusion of steam and cinder was transformed into it's realization - lifting from the chitin plates. He breathed heavy, the pain of the kinetic impact leaving dull aches across his chest and arms. Letting out a sigh, he dropped his arms, in a position apt to lift the world. "Is that it?" The force would grind the bone and stone around him, built upon the idea of something wicked and something evil. But it wasn't, it was merely purposeful - unhindered by conscious and consideration.

"My turn..." A gale, a typhoon, a tornado. He raced and raged forward, the force but a beaten and masticated thing - chewed up and spit out for the insult of the gesture. And as he neared them, the orb of his left hand with regale them with the tales of force repulse - the thing that ended their life and vaporized their very essence. Spewed and vulcanized, let their ash drift in atmosphere to return when needed. Because for now, they were merely the canvas for which art would impact - forcibly. He was the embodiment of this anger and frustration and boredom, them but the helpless victims. And he had nothing but time. Ten minutes to be exact.

Immediately upon touchdown, Ophidia’s eyes opened. As soon as the landing ramp lowered, she stepped on and out in a calm pace. Her hands maintained their position behind her back as she set her boots on the volcanic earth. They were new boots, black Corellian leather with leather softer than one of [member="Sage Bane"]’s flirts. After Gratos, Ophidia did not underestimate the worth of a pair of good boots.

Ashen dust kicked up as the Aspect of Death set her footprints on the planet and made pace against the stygium refinery. Despite the relatively calm appearance of her stride, she made quite a pace by involving every joint from hip to toe in each stride. Her eyes, red like glowing embers, peered out from under the brim of her cap as she set sights on the resistance. It was time she tested the limits of her Mentalism. Ophidia’s mind reached out to the closest guards and her left hand raised itself to her temple. With a flex of her thumb, she gave a single, simple order. The ten closest guards set their blasters to their heads and pulled the triggers. A singular wave of blasters roared through the perimeter, followed by the thuds of several smoking corpses falling to the ground. The holes in their temples smouldering from the superheated shot of their own blasters.

Wait, wasn't she supposed to only use her hidden blades? Oh well, sometimes she needed to blow off some steam.

As the ship touched down with a slight bump, Xavka drew in a deep breathe, held for a few seconds before releasing, all the while he stared at the bay doors, waiting for them to slide open and the attack to begin. In. Out. He breathed again. In. Out. With each breath he called more and more of the Dark Side to himself, saturating himself in it, letting it soak into his bones and muscles. In. Out. He closed his eyes as he heard the bay doors begin to open and, with a tug, pulled as much Darkness as he could inside of himself and opened his eyes as the ramp touched the ground, yellow eyes now tinged with red.

With a bloodthirsty smirk, Xavka leapt from the ship, distance increased through the Force, and landed with his feet on the chest of one worker. With a snap of bones, the man fell as his ribs were crushed. With a sharp ring the Hidden Blade extended. A short moment later the Blade sank into the warm flesh of the man's neck with a silent squelch. One kill with the Hidden Blades down. Staring down at the dying man, Xavka bowed his head slightly. He understood that this, in one way, compromised his ideals, but he knew why he was doing this and he would not shy away. Looking up his eyes once again snapped open, a cold determination filling them.

With a leap, Xavka was running towards his next target, another worker, and with a quick slice his throat was cut, leaving the man to drop to the ground choking and bleeding out. But Xavka did not see this, instead he had launched himself at the target closest to him, wrapping one arm around his neck and using the momentum of the jump to lift the man over his head, snapping the neck at the same time, and to slam the unfortunate worker into a second one.

In a tangle of limbs the two works went down, and Xavka jumped onto the second man, driving the Blade once again into a throat. This time, however, he did not leave it there, quickly removing it and leaning to the side to avoid the spray of blood. Looking up he took in the scene around him through both his own senses and the Force. Nearby, just outside the Hanger the freighter he had been aboard had landed at, Xavka could sense his Master.

She could always enjoy a good show, and a show put up by Gabriel was always a good one. Win-win? Certainly.

The other upside to him arriving first was that the first obstacle had already been cleared by the time the dropship touched down, spewing forth a motley crew of Sith, soldiers, and Yuuzhan Vong alike; the Hand liked to keep all of her bases covered, and all bases to her. It instilled a modicum of comfort into an otherwise fairly dangerous profession, knowing that she had loyal and competent people surrounding her as she joined the Wrath mid-destruction.

Without skipping a beat, the firrerreo and her contingent of trained killers joined the forces of Reverance at the gates of the refinery, adding blaster fire and grenades to the already colorful havoc being wrought upon the defenses by the Sith Lord himself. Vrag offered some support with a few careful pushes of the Force, and then finally, the way ahead was clear.

Ignoring the blaring alarms overhead, the host of Sith pushed forward through the gaping entrance, stepping over rubble and crackling machinery alike in their quest for domination. The facility was entering lockdown, security personnel running down the corridors and setting up barricades in hopes of holding off their advance; for even they, this far out, knew that there was no stopping them.

It was one of the harsh truths that ruled out there, where no laws or rights protected an individual beyond their own ability to assert themselves. It was this concept embodied that had come to tread on their soil, to take their lands and wealth and possessions, because they could, and so they would.

One of said harsh truths trode a bit further ahead of the others, wielding a lightsaber and a rifle at the same time, and though her helmet hid it well, it was smiling the whole. damn. time.

Animus was more than pleased to notice he was not in any way detected by the Patrolling guard around the station so he casual descended upon the fray cloaked and inconspicuous. Workers were in such a flurry they did not even notice a black robes figure walking among them, to be fair it was a hard to thing to do with the shade of the planet and such Animus moved like a shadow. The Sith'ari Has no Limits... The Sith'ari is a perfect being...

The thought raced through Animus Mind as he dove inside the Mines like a switch shadow who found Any lone soldier or Worker that was Alone and in the shadows, dragged him to a place of nothingness like a monster of Bedtime Stories little children hear of at Night. Animus began his descent to the Mines, first thing he noticed is that the workers here were not only pushed to the brink of exhaustion... but some already littered the floor dead.
Animus moving got inside one of the mining carts and hid himself.

For a while the Cart streamed down the Mines and pulled at a Stop, where one Soldier came to look. Animus Grabbed his head, Stuck him in the windpipe with the Hidden blade and pushed the cart off deeper into the mines. The place smelled like death, Sulfur and brimstone. Animus was sure he was the only Assassin or Sith in the Area, like a shadow he plunged deeper into the mine... His mission was a simple one... Kill everything.

Being half-Chiss had its advantages. As Sage descended deep into the terentatek cave, he needed no light source. His eyes had the advantage of the low light vision endemic of the Chiss. He only wish that he could do something about that godawful smell coming from the bowels of the cave. There were definitely living monsters in here, and the coppery scent that assaulted the Sith Lord's nose told him that they had recently fed. Sage drew his lightsaber pommel and thumbed the activation switch. His red blade hummed into life with a snap-hiss and a thrum. As a strong harbinger of the Dark Side, it was only a matter of time before a hungry terentatek stalked him. It was better to be safe than sorry.

Suddenly a deep, low growl pierced the air directly in front of him. Two tiny milk-white eyes glowed at him from a face of spikes. Strings of drool dropped from the creature's jagged teeth as it began to march towards him, walking upright like a rancor. The great beast roared, and the sound shook the cave like a seismic disturbance. Sage flinched, dodging nimbly out of the way of a cluster of falling rocks. His eyes flashing red, the Sith Lord gathered the Force around him, letting it fill every molecule. Taking the opening stance of Ataru, the Lord of Thorns stood fast, waiting for the creature to charge forward.

As soon as the ship doors opened, Nox was moving. Even as [member="Darth Ophidia"] used her mind magic, the Acolyte was sprinting for the door to the compound. There, two guards blinked as they tried to process what they just saw. They spotted her too late, and were raising their weapons as she reached them.

Her left leg extended in a kick to the stomach of the left guard, making him gasp as he dropped his rifle. Her right hidden blade extended as she used the momentum from the kick to propel herself forward, the blade finding a home in the guard's throat.
"Embrace the Shadow." She whispered as she withdrew her blade, her body already moving to her next target.
The guard was still holding his stomach as she grabbed his head. She channeled the Force from her hand, the pressure on his head increasing dramatically, and it exploded in a shower of gore and brain matter.
Nox allowed herself a moment to enjoy their deaths before moving on.

A yawning maw with sharp jagged teeth snapped the air in front of him as man and beast met. Sage used the Force to bolster the speed of his limbs, and as he sped up, time seemed to slow down, allowing him not only lightning quick strikes, but precise ones as well. The way of the Hawkbat was the perfect Form for fighting something as lumbering and slow as a terentatek. He assaulted the creature with a barrage of strikes that moved in a blur over its more sensitive belly. The animal roared in pain and took two swipes with its enormous clawed hands. Sage was in mid-back-handspring when the claws struck his thigh, opening a painful wound in his leg.

Sage was wounded, but not gravely. However, the fresh blood that gushed from his thigh was awash with midichlorians. That made it likely that more of the creatures would come charging in a feeding frenzy. Scrambling backwards to gain some distance between he and his beastly foe, Sage pressed his red plasma blade to his wound, cauterizing it closed. His face grimaced with pain and the repugnant smell of his own burning flesh. The terentatek was angry, but now Sage was angrier. Using the Force to push him past his physical limits, he ran at the creature and the last minute turned and ran up the side of the cave wall, banking off of it and landing on the terentatek's shoulders. With a shriek, the creature tried to shake him off, but Sage clung to its back and extinguished his saber, reaching instead for his dagger, the Sith-Alchemized Blade of the Satvas.

Ophidia smiled as she saw her apprentice, Nox, dive for two remaining guards and end them with such brutal efficiency. Ophidia did not break her stride for a second, her left hand snapped from her temple to a worker frantically dialling on his comlink. Ophidia’s hand closed, and the worker’s hand crumbled around the comlink with such force as to make flesh, glass, plastic and metal fuse in an agonising display. As the worker raised his head to cry out, he opened his throat for one of the many unnamed assassins that strode in to take their part. He never had time to make a sound before his windpipe was cut by a wrist-mounted blade.

As Ophidia’s head snapped to the other side, she saw a worker running away. Her right hand extended and closed. A telekinetic noose tightened around the woman’s throat and hoisted her up. As she floated, she accelerated towards Ophidia. The Rattataki brought about her left hand and extended the hidden blade. As the once-fleeing woman came within reach, Ophidia placed a single jab of her blade behind her victim’s ear. As the body went limp, she dropped it and looked about once more. She sensed the conflict in the air and revelled in in, her apprentices were close. So close. They had shed blood.

Ophidia placed her hands once more behind her back as she continued her stride into the Refinery and Mining station. Right behind the advancing Assassins came droids, ready to collect all and any Stygium they could find.
