Squib Games
The Squib had about fifty different problems.
Ordinarily, one might start with the fact that he was wanted in connection with terrorist activities by the authorities of this planet and, by extension, the Galactic Alliance. But that actually wasn't at the top of his list of concerns at the moment. In fact, it probably wasn't in the Top Ten.
Instead, Ree was a little more focused on the idea of living today. And from there move on to the challenges that came with prospectively intending to also live tomorrow. With Corporate Security having locked down the Seven Corners, the group was effectively trapped at the moment. And the heightened security had driven many of their allies or sympathizers to ground -- if not arrested by the sweep.

Not that CAD followed their own environmental regulations, but they did have them.
Written down anyway. Probably just to wave in the face of the Alliance anytime the word 'inspectors' was dropped into a senate debate.
Anyroad, the diminutive alien was presently trying to get his arms around just what the supply situation looked like. What was the water supply situation? What was its source? Was it safe or just potable? What was the condition of the storage tanks? And when was the last time anyone actually checked the storage tanks?
If he was to start running down the list from there, food probably would have been next on the list. Did they have food synthesizers? Were they working?
Somewhere toward the bottom of the Top Ten would be equipment. Safe food and water storage required upkeep, and he was betting that they weren't using top of the line down here. And the equipment that was down here down had probably been down here for a long time.
After that? Maybe weapons. Because in all likelihood, when CorpSec caught up to them, they wouldn't be taking prisoners. A public trial would have the possibility of airing the dirty laundry to the Galactic Senate, and they'd never allow that.
Viewed through that lens, the fact that he was wanted at all didn't seem much of a concern.
If CorpSec caught up to any them, it probably wouldn't matter after then.
Distracted as he was, the Squib wouldn't notice if someone approached to talk to him about gear.
