One of Kosa Nostra's oldest and most loyal 'goons,' Stephen has been a member of Kosa Nostra all his life, and has become one of The Family's most reliable and dangerous soldiers, often tasked with protecting both the Donna & Underboss of the criminal syndicate.
Around the age of 41, Iliana was born and was subsequently given to Stephen to raise due to the disappearance of her mother; a situation that simply hasn't been talked about since it's occurrence. From that moment on, Iliana became Stephen's one and only weakness, the one thing capable of wavering his loyalty to The Family.
Over the years, Stephen tried his best to keep his work and family separate, ensuring that Iliana was shielded from the volatile criminal underworld, to the point where Iliana's only recollection of Stephen's job was as 'security.' Though as Iliana aged, she wizened up and joined Kosa Nostra in a civilian capacity~ an undertaking that only made Stephen more uneasy.
