Atrisia a world many didn't know, steeped in history and even more myth then some others knew. Legends, gods, tales of heroes and villains. Recently the great rebellion to bring the emperor back into power... but betrayals on all sides led to his heirs being killed and Shoma being made the new heir. A favorite of his at court, his family a long time constant within the court. Three generals had fought, won and been raised to a place of legend on the world.. one stayed as Shoma's personal bodyguard, one wanders the world and another stays with her charges. From orbit the world itself was gleaming, proud and powerful with mysteries spread across its surface.
The ruined and forbidden city of Jar'kai was destroyed yes but it was still quite a sight to behold. The new Capitol of Xiaolang Palace was well impressive and an ancient seat of the world. Across from it stood where they wer eheading to, the ancient Kuramagi academy, now in ruins and it had once been a great sight to behold as the gnarled trees, once vibrant and fresh were old and twisted. Black bark, pink and red leaves. The sight of them linging the massive slopes of the academy that was build up the mountain to huge towers able to overlook the Nhai Mountains on one side and on one other side. Spreading to the forests, sections and palace.
Ancient tales, stories that were not certain.. the risks of them, the story of the Gao boys who saw the thing that came in the night. Twisted, horrendous, dangerous on black wings with black scales and glowing red eyes... or so one of the tales say. Each boy gave a different description of the creature and within the years all of them died. All the males of their family died and one thousand years later when the creature returned it had them shambling behind it before they were let loose upon their remaining blood passed through from their sisters. There were a hundred more tales told for thousands of years.
That was one fo the reasons why Matsu had come here, with a chance for some silver jedi. to investigate and if there was well anything of interest they might be able to make some discoveries. The thousands of caves and old cairns of stone within the mountains had never really been explored. SOme of them had but no one had documented all of them as far as she knew. No one had gone to the corpse city with its white marble stone walls, homes filled with silence and with the heavy miasma of unease. The forty seven yovshin statues looking across the mountains themselves eternally vigilant.
"Welcome to Atrisia." She said it looking around the ship when the ship was touching down with some supplies being set up for each of them in their packs.
