Spy Party - TGE Dominion of Schesa

The telekinetic shockwave unleashed by Siobhan had nicely tossed the would-be assassins like ragdolls against the wall, any resistance melting away in the face of such force. As she approached she found the guns, explosives and knives that had been throw out of the instruments and cases, scattering across the area. A few of the assassins still groaned and with a gesture from her hand she pulled one of the blasters lying on the ground towards her, firing quick shots to put them out of their misery. In the same moment there was the loud, ear-piericing sound of an explosion that tore apart the windows and threw volleys of glass into the crowd.

Siobhan grit her teeth as a shard of glass struck her cheek and pierced it, blood seeping out, then suddenly the CEO of Imperial Shipworks collided with her legs, tossing Siobhan down. Well, that was one way to get acquainted! "Real pleasure. We can go out for drinks later!" Siobhan quipped but Aditya was already on the move again in search of a bomb.

Another bomb. Great. It sounded like the usual Friday night to her. She got up and dusted herself off, her dress was a bit of a mess as blood dripped down.

It was then that Siobhan heard the sound of gun fire, coming in from the kitchen and getting louder. Even in the midst of screams, panic and feet stampeding on the ground as the guards sought to bring the VIPs to safety, it was hard to miss and so she quickly took off, as she bolted her lightsabre was in her hand and flared into existence. At the end of the kitchen two figures clad in black were firing volleys of blaster fire that seemed to be spewing everywhere, Siobhan was grazed at the ear by a stray blaster bolt that by chance or design - with all the chaos it was difficult to decide which - came shooting her way. At this stage she did not see that some of the kitchen personnel were carrying weapons as well.

She felt strong Force signatures in the room, feeling other forcers in the room, instead she clenched her bionic hand into a fist and made a pulling motion, exerting her telekinetic will to grip the fridge and toss it through the air as a telekinetic whirlwind formed towards the black clad shooters with strong concussive force and at high velocity. As she tossed the heavy object towards them she spun her lightsabre to slash blaster bolts out of the air, then briefly ceasing this she reached out with the Force and focused upon the arms of one of the shooters. In her mind his arms were gripped in a tight, powerful grip designed to crush and break bones, then twisted hard so that he would lose his weapons....and probably the use of both his arms. Brutal, but then she was Butcher Kerrigan.

Grand Admiral, First Order Central Command
And then everything went to hell.

In a way, it was a refreshing end to the evenings reverie. Or beginning, depending on how you looked at things. It was a damned sight more interesting, that was for sure. Here and there around the hall select individuals were engaged in fights or otherwise involved in something besides diplomatic discussion. Likely the possibility of an assassination attempt or terrorist attack had been known for some time, and yet no one had bothered to inform the Empire's Grand Admiral. Well, that problem could be dealt with at another time, there were more pressing matters at hand.

A wave of energy pulsed through the room, though it was mostly directed at a group of musicians who had pulled out some entirely un-musical instruments. Which meant there were force users about as well. No time to be running about unarmed. As if on queue, a blaster bolt struck near where Cyrus was standing. His combat instincts kicked in, and he hit the deck and quickly shuffled behind cover. No further shots fired, so it was probably a stray. A good sign. He glanced out from behind the column where he'd taken shelter, and caught out of the corner of his eye the sight of the merchant prince from before, huddled under a table clutching his arm.

Hah, some great warrior he was, cowering like a rat. Were the Chiss this degenerate overall, or just this planet? Perhaps Schesa needed this change in its leadership.

A single figure broke out from the kitchen and fired a few potshots into the crowd, his back to Cyrus. The Admiral couldn't tell whether or not he was security or a would-be assassin, but at the moment he wasn't particularly concerned. He bolted out from behind his column and charged. It took the Chiss a second to register the movement and a second to turn his head, and by the time he was moving the rest of the body it was too late. The 240 pound bulk of the Admiral hit the Chiss at a run, knocking the blue-skinned alien to the ground. He didn't have a chance to get back up as Cyrus put one knee on his firing arm, one on his neck, and proceeded to pummel his face. For several seconds, everything was red, and all the anger he'd been building up over the past few days was released in one glorious bloody moment. Flesh, bone, and skin all gave way under the murderous rage, until at last something broke in Cyrus' left hand. He pulled back with a start and looked down at the red ruin of a face beneath him. His hands were battered and covered in gore (along with his knees, and there was splatter all across his chest and face), and several fingers were likely broken.

It felt good.

Prying the weapon out of the still-twitching assassin's hand, Cyrus stood up. At one end, the corpulent form that could only be the governor was being hustled out of the room by several guards and the reptilian Oyabun Mori. As it probably wouldn't do good to be seen standing over something that had once been a person, Cyrus decided to head that way. Nonchalantly firing the weapon (a pistol Charric) into the still twitching Chiss, he began to casually walk over to the group, almost as if unaware of the blaster fire and chaos all around.

His left hand started to hurt. The shutta had a hard skull.

It was mayhem. Satoshi broke into a run, pocketing the intricate weapon he'd taken from the mewling Chiss and drawing his sidearm, a more effective blaster pistol with considerably more juice in the thermal clip. As the Grand Admiral's aide, it was now his duty to find his CO and make sure he didn't catch a blaster bolt. Not that the Lieutenant was worried that Tregessar couldn't handle himself in a fight, considering his size it was probably safe to say that he could. And it wasn't that he was worried about the man in the slightest; even though he didn't dislike the man, he realised that he could probably watch him hacked to death without a flicker of emotion. It was about his prestige and reputation as a competent officer. No, an excellent one. Satoshi would make sure the Grand Admiral didn't catch one before his time, and gorram it, he'd get himself a promotion while he did it.

Tregessar wasn't hard to spot, eventually. After all, he was a mountain of a man in the midst of the smaller, more slender Chiss ... and an epicentre of calm amongst a hurricane of panic. He had to run, but he caught up to the Admiral quickly enough. His sidearm drawn and held at a ready position, Satoshi didn't bother to address Tregessar. The Admiral would see him there, and really, considering the mess that used to be a Chiss that was left on the floor behind them, the less said the better.

Multiple blaster shots rang out towards the side of the kitchen she'd taken cover in, but it only took her a moment to realize they weren't all directed at her. Not only were parts of the kitchen staff armed, but they were firing on her and the two saboteurs she'd chased into the room, as well as another uniformed chiss by the door back to the ballroom. One of which was busy trying to keep her pinned down while the second returned fire on the armed cooks.

What in the Force is going on here...

With the sudden entrance of master Yokuni, the situation was thrown into even more disarray. The chiss firing on her let up for just a moment.

Now.

Grabbing the edge of the counter with her left hand, Somarae threw herself up and over the surface, leveling her pistol forward as her legs cleared the metal fixture. She slid across the polished countertop, her gun moving to track the saboteur without any conscious thought on her part. She squeezed the trigger reflexively, the blue colored bolt of the stun setting catching the man in the side as her feet found the ground once again and she ran for the next piece of cover she could reach, activating her commlink again as she ducked behind it.

"Engaging targets in the kitchen, Rex. We've got two groups of armed men shooting at each other and Imperials. Something's getting really bizarre here."

She was preparing to make another shot, when the still active saboteur was suddenly propelled into the air and savaged with telekinetic force. Soma blinked, peering out to see just where that oddly familiar presence was coming from. She hadn't felt that since...

Atrisia.

Masaru pinched the bridge of his nose slightly as Aditya ran off to disarm bombs. He signaled for two of the guards escorting them, "You two. Follow Mrs. Amadis and assist her however you can. A Prefect rather too valuable to let wander free in this situation, and I doubt she'll come willingly so long as she feels she can help."

They nodded in response, working their way through the crowd in pursuit of Aditya. It came as no surprise to see Admiral Tregessar and one of his aides shouldering their way through the panicked crowd without even a hint of concern. Tregessar may not have been Atrisian, but the man carried himself as any true son of the Empire should. The Yovshin noted the Admiral's knuckles were red and bloody, but left any inquiries on the topic unsaid for now.

To their credit, even if their leader was incompetent, most of the local security team was not, and were doing their best to corral and contain the mob with a minimum of further casualties. A few were even making arrests of the band members who had survived the telekinetic assault Siobhan had given them. Another team wisely remained just outside the kitchen, letting the situation in there calm down before moving in to contain.

They were nearly out of the room when Cyrus and Rodrigo caught up with them, "I'm glad you could join us, gentlemen. I've been assured there is a secure military bunker just beneath us. We're on our way there now."

Inwardly, Mori wished he had his swords. That had unfortunately not been a possibility at this meeting, so instead he just let the weight of the long steak knife he'd secured up his sleeve as the group had left the table provide limited reassurance that he was at least somewhat armed.

The bomb was professionally made. Custom, but clearly not slapped together. Someone knew what they were doing. There appeared to be multiple failsafes in case of tampering, it would just be a matter of puzzling out how to disarm it without tripping it.

The only mildly tricky bits for someone as skilled as Aditya, was the fact the chrono only had four minutes left, and there was still at least one more device somewhere nearby.

@[member="Somarae"], @[member="Togashi Yokuni"]

Mayhem and chaos reigned in the kitchen! It was perhaps a bit of a miracle that the roof had not been torn down yet. One assassin was taken out of the game as a blue bolt struck him, another was thoroughly savaged on the most concussively painful way by Siobhan. Out of the corner of her eye Siobhan spotted a female Chiss in what she believed to recognise was an Imperial naval uniform.

She sensed...something, the Force swirling about her, a palpable presence. More than that there was something...familiar about her. Her thoughts flickered back to Atrisia, the battle that had taken place not so long ago, but then the hardened warrior took over again and she focused upon the kitchen personnel who had seen fit to fire at them - and apparently at the assassins - instead of making them a a good stew. Or whatever it was that they were serving, Siobhan was not exactly up to date on what the Chiss considered cuisine.

Unfortunately, there was a bored telekinesis specialist in the room who liked causing carnage just a bit too much. So as her lightsabre batted shots out of the air she stretched out with her mind, exerting her telekinetic will. Rather than going for producing a shockwave like against the musicians she mentally stretched out to grab the blasters firing at them, as if several invisible hands were seizing them as one in a powerful grip, then pulled hard, very hard as she sought to grab the guns and hurl them through the air out of reach of the shooters. The fridge in the kitchen, which had been tossed earlier, would be pulled off the ground to be raised into the air then and thrown at them at high velocity and with pure battering ramming force.

During the event Alejandro had been forced to stay behind on Masaru's ship, lacking the social rank to attend. Not to mention he was not very good at hiding his Reki nature. This situation did not sit well with him, but all he could do was pace back and forth inside of the ship. Not being at Masaru's side was proving to be extremely stressful.

Then the chaos inside started happening, and it was reported back to Alejandro by one of the other Reki working for Masaru. Strapping a pair of swords to his back, Alejandro grabbed his sword and ran out. An assassin appeared half way to the gathering, but the Reki's blade flew from its sheath as Alejandro cut the other man's stomach open.

Finally he made his way to where the ceremony had been, and searched for his boss. When he found his target, he ran over and took the swords from his back holding them out. "Mori-sama, Alejandro has brought your weapons. Alejandro apologizes for taking so long, and Alejandro will receive whatever punishment you deem proper."

"Oh you are just the best soma!! Oh no I'm fine! Don't worry, it's not like I just blew a bomb up in my face!" Rex said as he ran back down the service tunnel. This was all just starting to go to poodoo, who was trying to kill who? It was like an episode of Scooby Doo except people are getting shot in the face and blown up. As Rex continued to run towards soma's location Rex got back on his comm "You're not good at this infantry thing are you?! How many am I looking at here?" he said to soma trying to get some information Rex usually like a little intel with his intel when he ran face first into a fight. It didn't matter though, he was just about to enter the kitchen and start slaying bodies.

Switching his rifle to stun, he needed to question these people not kill them. Aiming his rifle at the first person he saw as he entered the industrial kitchen he fired at one of the two agents that had escaped him earlier "Imperial storm troopers!! Everyone down!!" he said identifying himself as he continued to fire stun rounds at the various people fighting in the room even dropping one or two of them as he turned and burned the area. Hopefully they could contain the fighting and keep that windy politician alive so they could make this sector theirs.

Aside from the massive oaf, the Schesans were quick witted and entirely too highly functional to be easily wooled by such a buffoon. "How'd he get elected, anyhow? Kinda feel like pushing this bomb down his. . . throat." Her mouth shut, and Aditya sat back on her haunches.

"Huh." A tap on her shoulder broke the reverie of watching the efficient clock face slink downward to a more indecent number. Elbows on her knees, the engineer glanced up and took the satchel her Lieutenant/Assistant handed her. "Told you to get to the bunker."

"No offense intended, Ma'am, but no bunker in the universe is safe for me if you get blown to smithers. What do you need?"

"S'nice being one of the Emperor's favourites. Good young Akio. Love him, really do. Yeah, get me a bottle of the highest percentage spirit you can find and a rag. Oh! And ice." Unrolling the satchel's neatly ordered tool pouch, Aditya removed the cover on the bomb and took another fifteen seconds to sit and look it over. Professional, no botch job here someone with money or experience hired this out. A couple of @[member="Masaru Mori"]'s men came to her and she chuckled to herself as she stuck a green wire between her teeth and bit down.

No charge. "Not Green. Remember that, Flumsy." She snapped her fingers at the one on the left, dubbed Flumsy and took the blue wire between her teeth. "Small charge. Not enough. Not Blue either." By the time her Assistant got back with the booze and rag, Aditya had bitten each of the wires, until the final one (A yellow wire) jolted her back and had Flumsy and Quinnigan (The other guy) catching her by the shoulders. "Yep! That's the one! Thanks!"

She popped the cap on the booze and sucked in a considerable amount, gut wrenching as the indecently harsh flavour hit her taste buds. Once her mouth was full, Aditya pushed everyone back and spewed a cloud of booze from her mouth onto the bomb. The yellow wire frizzed and spat, the dial face of the bomb flickering. Wiping her mouth, she groaned. "This is gonna take more booze."

Guzzling another portion of the paint thinner the Chiss called fit for consumption (or maybe it was the acid by mistake), she spritzed it at the wires and as the yellow wire bubbled and frizzled, Aditya yanked her hand in and pulled out the wire, snipping it with her clippers. The wire zapped in her hand, and the bomb fell dead.

Aditya stuck her hand in the ice. "Quinnigan! Where's the next bomb!?"

Aditya opened her commlink (which her assistant had rolled in with her tool satchel) and flicked it into her ear for all Galactic Empirical frequencies present (That she had access to) "First of two bombs neutralized. Moving to second. Amadis out."

Grand Admiral, First Order Central Command
At some point he was aware that LT Satoshi was near him. That was good, the young man showed promise, and it would've been a shame for him to get killed in a pointless firefight like this. Judging by the weapon he now carried, he was possibly enjoying this sudden change in the mood of the festivities as much as Cyrus himself was. Someone spoke, finally snapping him out of the red-clouded daze he'd been in. His first thought was that he hadn't taken cover at all. That was... unwise, but too late to dwell on now. He turned slowly towards the speaker, who was of course the Yovshin Mori.

"Good, we'll be better able to coordinate things from there. I need access to a communications suite. There's a company of Force Recon onboard my ship who could be down here in a matter of minutes."

No sooner had the Admiral finished speaking then he noticed the disgusting face of the Chiss governor. The man was something of an anomaly, as most chiss carried themselves with dignity and pride, and were famed for their discipline and skill as soldiers. Something was certainly rotten on Schesa, shame that whatever it was had to find its way to the surface now, instead of when the planet was part of the Empire, and the situation could be easily resolved by a few companies of stormtroopers.

Which brought up an interesting point. Schesa was independent. Imperial troops couldn't land at all, without special approval. Cyrus did not consider himself particularly skilled when it came to politics, but he always read his intel reports, and this was just the sort of thing that would have been on them. Barring some emergency action by the planetary governor, that company of Force Recon troops couldn't do a damn thing. Scowling on inside (and were he a force user, the Chiss would likely have felt his distaste for these next few actions) he turned slowly towards the governor and nodded his head slowly, his face a neutral mask.

"Assuming, of course, the good governor sees the need to have them assist in restoring security."

This exact sort of thing was why Cyrus hated politics.

"I'll bring up the rear." Nothing else really needed to be said. Satoshi had nothing to add, his only real mission now was to watch everyone's back and make sure they didn't cop any blasterfire. He was enjoying this, perhaps more than a sane man would ... a Chiss popped around the corner, armed. Satoshi had no idea who he was or whose side he was on, nonetheless he brought up his weapon and fired, dropping him where he stood.

"Let's move."

Crawling through the vents Break had no idea why @[member="Rexus Drath"] had asked him to come to this godforsaken planet, as he was having an exceptionally good time loafing around. Nonetheless he moved quickly and quietly through the vents his weight posing no real damage to he high strength metals the vents were made of. He watched through slits in the vents as the fight moved on chaos and death ensuing just below him. "Ugh...such violence..." He thought to himself he quickly crawled to the kitchen toward Rexus signal.

Rexus was doing his thing, firing at insurgents and elbowing faces. However there just wasn't an end to them. These guys really wanted this fat Chiss guy dead. And too be honest Rex didn't really blame them, he was surrounded by four of them and without his lightsaber. Things were going to get ugly, he couldn't just use the force and expose himself. He had to be smart about it, that's why break was there. "Okay kids come get it!" Rex threw a haymaker at the first man on his left knocking out masked man. Aiming his rifle at the second it was too late, they latched on and the third tackled him to the ground. Luckily he was wearing his storm trooper armor so a quick headbutt knocked the man out ad he fell on top of him.

However the last man held his rifle and aimed it at Rex as he was pinned under the man beneath him. He would have to do something or his goose was cooked. "Break!!" he yelled before the thug responded "Break?" he said with a puzzled look shouldering his rifle @[member="Break"]

Break must have been right above @[member="Rexus Drath"] as he couldnt mistake that deep tone and familiar accent. Break hurried to the vent hatch, he could see Rexus through the slits being held at gunpoint by someone or another he raised his newly recovered PRT pulse arm canon at the ready and blasted through the vent hatch. killing the man and leaving a burning mess upon the floor. Rexus stood no more than a couple feet away from the yellow goo as the man fell, no blood no splatter the plasma cauterized the wound upon exiting. Break dropped in from the vent and walked to his old friend. "How are you gonna survive without me?" the child sized droid prodded. He readied his aim at the door waiting for some other threat to show its ugly face, so he could promptly remove it.

"Well you could start by getting this husk of dead guy off of me!" Rexus was trapped under a rather heavy unconscious man dressed as a chef. He was like a killer insurgent chef boyarde crushing him. Rex was quite honestly pinned to the floor under the weight of this massive man. Though seeing that one guy turn into a pile of plasma discharge was not something you saw everyday. "So that's new." Rexus said to break after the all that had transpired had went down. The kitchen for the most part was clear and now they had to get out and start helping other sections of the place to make sure the fat Chiss guy stated alive @[member="Break"]

"Yeah I had lost this for a while, just found it today." he said looking at the weapon his sister and him made so long ago. Break walked over the the hulking dead mass and threw him on his shoulders. The small frame of Break was a weird sight to see easily lifting the man from @[member="Rexus Drath"], Break heaved his corpse into a corner to hide the bodies and searched the man. he recovered a few knives from the corpse and a blaster. Break looked around the corner and noticed the coast was clear no enemies were around.
"Looks like the coast is clear. Whats next?" Break asked, canon still at the ready. He turned on the HUD and his once blue glowing eyes turned Green.

"We get my squad over here, and we start policing the area!" Grabbing his comm unit Rex held it up to his helmet. "Jade Fist Two Four Come in!" Rexus spoke into his communicator and awaited a response. "Gunny! This is Larz! We are under heavy fire at the main gate! We need you up here!" His squad was pinned down and under fire, there were only eleven of them so it wasn't a very hard feat to do. "Let's go Break!" Running out the kitchen and back through the service hatch that they had came into, they had to get back out and support their squad. They could outflank the insurgents and take them down quickly and without much effort. However on the way through the service hatch they came under fire from a few more hooded figures with backpacks. Most likely more bombs. Taking cover in the tunnel Rex had his blaster with him again. Sticking his blaster out he blind fired down the hallway waiting for break @[member="Break"]

Break snuck slowly through the shadows hugging the opposite wall his steps quiet and calculated he noticed the hooded figures wearing backpacks. 50% chance of explosives his HUD read as he looked at the enemies. He sat quietly waiting to strike as he noticed Rexus hand poke around the corner. "WHAT IS HE DOING?!" he thought to himself as he watched @[member="Rexus Drath"] blind fire into the enemies. accidentally hitting one of the backpacks the pack dropped what looked to be a fruit of some sort. "*sigh* a full scale fight and these morons are worried about food..." Break lifted his weapon as the enemy turned around looking to see his assailant. Break
Quickly tossed one of the knives he had stolen from the chef and landed him in the throat. The other baddie still shocked and confused by why his partner had suddenly had a knife added to his biology, stood mouth agape. Break was rather pleased with himself. he always prided himself upon his tact and stealth. This shot was no exception. The man still panicked looked around confused and looked for a place to hide. Break would see what his partner would do to stop the man before he raised the alarm.

Siobhan advanced ruthlessly and implacably, cutting down those assassins that would still be standing in the aftermath of her telekinetic onslaught that had ripped most of their guns out of their hands, with some presumably buried under the fridge that had been thrown at them at high velocity. She slew without fanfare, without pose, the Force guiding her lightsabre as it struck, batting blaster bolts out of the air and sending them flying back to the shooters. At her command kitchen equipment, frying pans, knives, forks rose up and were hurled across the air at her enemies as improvised scatter shots with kinetic force behind them. She was no Inquisitor - indeed she did not know at all about the Inquisition - she was known as a force-user, rather publicly known since the battle of Atrisia, so she made no attempt to hide what she could do.

Her blade would hack off limbs and chop off heads, those that escaped it should be sent into walls as she exerted her telekinetic will, one assassin should get his head seized in a telekinetic grip and smashed into a table. She would be lying to herself if she did not admit that on a certain level part of her was enjoying it.

Rexus was only with break now and it wasn't unknown to him that Rexus could use the force. "Push forward!" Slinging his rifle Rex popped up from cover and extended his arm. Reaching out with the force Rex pushed the man against the wall either killing him or knocking him out, either way the man was out of the fight. Extending both if his arms now Rexus aimed forward and sent a powerful wave forward to start tumbling the and pushing the incoming insurgents down the hall. "Cover me!" Rex would act like a wall pushing forward and break would make sure no one popped a corner and shot Rex. Walking forward a few insurgents didn't expect to see a force user here fighting them. A few people however came in through the end of the tunnel a good fifteen meters ahead and started firing at Rexus @[member="Break"]
