@[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] caught his eye -- statuesque, battered, bloody, unbroken.

I am a married man.

Hat pulled down over his eyes, the man who'd once coordinated her telekinetic power with dozens of others waved her into cover. "Need a hand," he said tersely. "I sense three snipers covering this road -- no, four. One on the red roof, two on the blue, one down the second alley on the left. Not enough. Which means we're facing traps that I can't sense. I can draw fire with illusions, but you'll only have a narrow window of time to do what you do."

Without waiting for assent, he crafted an illusory version of both of them, along with an illusory version of the Governor, and sent them running down the darkened road. Shots rang out.

She had maybe four seconds.

One sniper on the red roof, two on the blue, another lurking on the second alley on the left. Hidden traps that remained illusive, even to an illusionist. Siobhan did not have the time to make any comment before the illusive man conjured up the illusory versions. Something about him felt familiar to her, inadvertently her thoughts drifted back towards Atrisia. Somehow, there was a connection, though she could not quite trace it.

But this was not on her mind as the countdown began. Four seconds. More than enough. By the time the shots rang out Siobhan was already in the air and exerting her telekinetic will. Whereas he, though she would not know this yet, was a master illusionist, she was a battering ram and as she unleashed her powers it would be felt, the air twisting into strange shapes as the blast of force energy shot through, not shooting into one direction alone, but being swept through the air to sweep across the zone.

Assassins from the roofs were smashed by the invisible hammer and pulled down, descending into the abyss, a fall that could only end in their deaths. The one in the alley was seized and smashed into the pavement. He would not see the forcer who had brought him doom, just a spec in the sky, the harbinger of merciless death. As in a certain song this writer likes, the bodies hit the floor.

@[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] had, in one move, rendered the snipers' cover useless. She was flying, or close enough. He felt their deaths, watched her soar-

And realized that the traps were apparently still active. Oh, her omnidirectional blast of concussive force lent itself to triggering things like tripwires, to be sure. Claymore mines detonated furiously. But there was still something else, something nagging precognitively at the back of his mind every time he went to stand up from behind the cover.

Another set of illusionst produced nothing, and he rose at last, dusting off hat and coat. At a guess, this area was still full of traps or impromptu obstacles.

One could always count on Siobhan producing an explosive reaction. This writer's penchant for corny lines continued unabated. Claymore mines exploded with great fury and hurled volleys of shrapnel into the air, smoke rising up into the air as the concussive blasts tore through the area. Siobhan, still in the air, was knocked temporarily off course before she regained control, waves of dust descending down her already ruined dress - which incidentally was a really lame thing to wear in a battle.

Telekinesis washed the dust off her, she grit her teeth at the shard that had decided it liked a particular spot in her cheek and was thoroughly enthusiastic about burning into it. Admittedly she had a love for explosions, but it was clear that these were not the only traps the not particularly illusive legions of assassins had thrown up and so as she slowly glided through the air she stretched out with her senses, trying to gain a purchase upon them, homing in on the roofs, the ground, where in part explosives had ripped open the pavement; of course she was no mentalist. If one were to divide forcers in those who listened and who shouted, she was firmly in the later category.
