Spreading the Teyan (Republic Dominion of Seltos)

  • Repair things in city

A'dele's attention would be elsewhere while the rest of the Order focused on investigating the surrounding areas. As a healer, she would see to any medical needs be met. Others were here with her, supervising the repair activities of the capital.

A triage center would be set up for the Circle of Healers, and the area was a buzz of activity. Here, the young Zabrak monitored the younger Padawans while others were unloading items from relief transports.

Objective: Stretching out his senses, as his master hinted to do so.

If she were anyone else, if she wasn't his master, he would easily take her words and tone as a tease. But... well, come to think of it, this was Kira, and he was slowly getting used to the way she was. Whatever that meant. Instead, he took her words as a suggestion, as a prod to use one of the most basic abilities a Jedi had.

"A'right," he said, looking again toward the strange hotel. Jannik felt the Force around him, and closed his eyes for focus - the eyes being the prime sense by which the mind gathered all that was distracting. Not that he was overly distractible, of course. He could feel Kira, the nearby trees, but not the hotel. So he stretched for it, sought it, his brow creased, and there it was. He felt it, inside and out, and it was...

"It's empty," Jan confirmed, his eyes opening again, his brow settling back to normal. "Lifeless."

He glanced at [member="Kira Liadain"], a slight, possibly cheeky grin warming his overall countenance. "Well, that is dull, innit? No-one even at reception t'check us in."

Silently and with no preamble a huge black ship dropped from hyperspace. The 1375 meter Keldabe-type Dreadnought made no advance but loomed silently outside the planets gravity well. The Mandalorian Field Marshal stood arms crossed and watched out the viewport at the Rebulic ships in the distance.

Ordo blinked....

"Shields up." He said before returning to his silent observation.

Talon walked along with his padawan when a group of apparent bandits jumped out and aimed blaster rifles at he and his padawan.

"Hold on right there!" A thin human woman said. "Your not welcomed here."

Talon looked at her calmly. And noticed the old imperial modeled weapons and the small metallic cylinder on the womans belt.

'Oh boy' he thought 'not my favorite.'

Kira flashed Jannik a wink at his discovery, proud that he was able to determine thus through the Force. A lesson in every venture, that was her motto. Especially for the seer-in-training.

"Guess that means we'll be wandering over towards the back end," she told him, nodding over towards a small trail to their right. That is where the area around it appeared to have recent activity.

That's where they would most likely find something to start.

"So.... if you were leading this Jan," her face came next to his, turning towards him with impish delight. "What would you do next?"

"We aren't looking for trouble." Talon said calmly as he watched the woman's eyes.

His hands held palms facing her held out at wasit height.

"Well maybe staying off our planet would have helped" she said crossing her arms.

Vulpesen's eyes would catch Talon's stuggle in the forest, answering his question without words. "Ace, take care of the ship!" Running for the opening ramp, Vulpesen would launch himself out of the Paladin. Shadow fox, incoming! Flipping and using the force to slow his descent, Vulpesen would land fairly silently behind the bandits, watching to see what would happen while hiding behind the trees and bushes.

The battleship drifted slowly closer to the planet and the republic ships in orbit.

"Turn one weapons systems and obtain firing solutions." He said coldly. "Hold fire unless they shoot first."

Ordo stood and continued to watch the ships.

"Have pilots report to their fighters." Ordo said darkly.

He nodded, offering no verbal reply, but following [member="Kira Liadain"] towards the backside of the hotel. His senses were still open, but not actively seeking in a low-level, subconscious sort of way. Given that it was the Force that gave him the visions, any blatant contact with it could make him feel concern... but each time he had employed one of his (thus far) very few abilities in the Force as of late, his worries had come up unfounded. Just like Kira had said - the visions were uncontrollable. They often came whether one wanted them to or not. He was doing what he could to get used to that fact.

"Well, ah'd 'scout' further ahead, with m'noggin," he replied. "T'see iffin there was anything unt'ward that we might chance happenin' upon, going that way."

He considered his next words.

"An' ah'd listen..." He flicked a glance at Kira. "...did y'hear that?"

Come to think of it, hadn't he seen [member="Talon Vosra"] head off that way, thereabouts?

A frown drew over her face as her head went swiveling towards the direction Jan mentioned. Concern grew over her delicate features as the blond lifted her head, slightly canting her head as if to listen. Theran Force listening was a skill she'd been working on mastering for some time now, and in moments like this, it would help get a clear understanding at just what was going on far in the distance.

' We aren't looking for trouble. '

Came Talon's faint voice, a mere whisper that was crystal clear to the Lorridan. "Yeah... I did." She gave a nod of her head for him to follow her. The trail could wait.

"Come on."

Always good to know when he wasn't just 'hearing things', a small relief coming over him as his master confirmed that something else was going on, only to be replaced by another feeling that was all-too-familiar - wariness of the unknown. Yet another thing he was working to conquer. How he'd gotten to this age... well, never mind.

"It didn't sound good," he remarked, not loudly, leaving the hotel and the trail behind, and heading directly for the source of the noise with the blonde that he spent a fair chunk of his time with, these days. Once a few days past, he wondered what his old mates would say, and then realized that they wouldn't understand it at all. And then his nose crinkled, and he frowned, knowing the jokes they'd make. Perhaps he was better off.

Talon sighed inwardly and met the woman's eyes once more.

"We're here as part of peaceful negotiations." He said calm still despite the Blaster rifles. "There is no need for weapons we only want to help."

The woman's eyes flicked down to Talons belt and the twin sabers that hung there. Her mouth changed to a grimace and she uncrossed her arms.

"Jedi scum!" She spat, "kill them both!" she yelled as she pulled her lightsaber and the blasters began firing.

In an instant one of Talon's sabers was in his hand and the yellow blade began redirecting blaster bolts away from [member="Vala Melina"] and himself as he tried to back away from the bandits.

Vulpesen would step out of the bushes, seeming to form from the shadows themselves. "Excuse me." Raising his hand, Vulpesen would start pulling blasters from several bandits before they could figure out what was going on. "I don't believe that such violence is called for." [member="Talon Vosra"] might have seen it better to walk away, but Vulpesen was a person to leap into the fray. There was no way in hell that these bandits would get off easy after shooting at his jedi brethren.

Vala Melina

Jedi...Eventually
Padawan Vala followed her Master when she felt something. It was like a pit in her stomach. She felt like something bad was going to happen. At that moment bandits decided to announce their appearance. Her first instinct was to reach for her vibroblade but her Master seemed like he was taking control of the situation. She casually kept her hand on it as she watched her Master try and negotiate with the leader, a thing woman. It was when she saw the silver cylinder that Vala knew that the chances of them exiting peacefully plummeted exponentially.

Master [member="Talon Vosra"] was doing a good job but he was merely stalling the inevitable. The leader ignited her lightsaber and gave the command to open fire. Her Master immediately sprung into action, igniting his yellow blade and batted the blaster bolts away as he tried to retreat. Vala pulled out her own vibroblade but it wouldn't do her too much good here with her lack of training. It was then that another Jedi made his presence known as he attempted to pull the blasters out of some of their hands. A feeling ran through her blood as the fighter within her longed to pitch into the fray. "We should help him Master," she said to [member="Talon Vosra"]. She may not be able to do much by herself but together they could defeat them.

Talon moved to block the bolts one handed as he pulled his blue bladed lightsaber and tossed it to his padawan. He knew she would have hand some basic training so he trusted she could handle herself.

Stopping his retreat he redirected two shots into a pair of bandits then moved toward the woman with the red lightsaber. She leapt to meet him and the blades collided and sparked as the blades sizzled.

"Give up," he told her "we can offer you fair treatment and a chance for freedom."

Asher leapt from hiding nearby, to block the shot fired by a soldier from nearby - it had been aimed at a currently busy Master. Moving his hand downward, he felt the liquid alloys of his body elongate to extend his arms, which shot out to grip the shoulders of the attacker. Squeezing on pressure points, Asher watched the body drop.

Turning, he moved his eyes to the battle that engaged. It seemed a Master and his Apprentice moved about in a battle quite beautiful. Reaching down, the Polydroxol let his palm rest on the hilt of his saber. His face reflected an older man, mid 50's with sharp emerald eyes. His clothes were hidden beneath the long robe he wore.

Vala Melina

Jedi...Eventually
Vala caught the lightsaber handed to her by her Master. She put away her vibroblade in favor of the much more elegant weapon and activated the lightsaber, revealing a blue blade. Her blood boiled with excitement. A real lightsaber in her hand. Another step closer to her goal of making her own. With fierce determination on her face, she entered a basic Form V: Djem So stance and began batting blaster bolts as her Master went to engage the Dark Jedi. Another being leaped into battle now, someone Vala has never seen before but he was on their side as he took down a soldier.

Vala advanced toward one of the soldiers and she tried to cut his rifle in half with one well timed sweep of the lightsaber.

Watching as the aforementioned apprentice shifted, and sliced clean through the rifle of an enemy, Asher spun and brought a powerful kick into the cheek of a new opponent. As his leg descended, his hand drew his lightsaber which activated with a snap-hiss. Blocking an attack brought by what seemed a Sith sword, Asher threw a swift jab at the mans stomach - hard enough to make him fold around the fist as it lifted him off his feet.

Out of the corner of his eye, Asher saw another man lining up to shoot at the apprentice. Kicking his right foot out, he hit square against the small of his opponents wrist. Then upon the releasing of the sword, he kicked the base of the sword mid air - which rocketed the small blade through the air before it embedded itself into the soft tissues of the chest cavity of the other attacker.

Jedi...Eventually
Vala followed through the slice with a kick to the man's helmet, sending him to the ground unconscious. She turned to see two more men drawing a bead on her. One man was attacked by one of their allies but the other continued unopposed. He fired. She may not be the most experienced Padawan and may not be good at many things but she found that she was best at lightsaber combat. She moved her blade to intercept and sent the bolt right back at the man, striking him in the chest.

She moved on to the next attacker, batting away blaster bolts as she advanced. The enemy's numbers were dwindling.

Deactivating his lightsaber, Asher spun then dropped low as he continued his momentum. This dropped his current enemy to the flat of back, where the Polydroxol aimed a swift kick for the temple. Despite appearing a shaky, weak, old man Asher held more strength and speed then nearly anyone on the Field - all thanks to the entirely unique make up of Poly's. None could hope to match a being whose muscles were made of metallic alloys.

Leaping into a series of swift, yet tightly coordinated, backflips brought Asher past his fellow Padawan. Ending the final flip of the last arc, he slammed to a stand still directly behind his newest target. Reaching up, he socked the man hard enough in the temple, with enough speed behind it, to make the body flip in a cartwheel so hard it stayed in relatively the same place. Then it was over and another body fell.

Asher was on a roll.
