STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES​

• Environmental Resistance +
  Her armour was built with survival as a priority. Hence why it was outfitted with a layer of Enviroweave beneath the Beskar'gam. With it, Soliane is able to endure harsh climates that would typically slow down or injure others. The weave protects her from extreme heat or cold, and sudden changes in weather. Allowing her to safely traverse deserts, tundras, and other climates alike. For a member of the Star Corps this environmental adaptability is vital.
• Defensive Capabilities +
  The armour is a fortress first, a weapon second. And though the Beskar'gam carries a handful of offensive tools, its design prioritises survivability above all. Every piece of the kit is intended to shield the wearer while buying time to counter or evade her opponent. The disruptors and concussive rockets are meant for disorienting enemies long enough to regain control of the battlefield. In addition, the shield generator, coupled with the properties of the beskar/durasteel, allows her to endure attacks that would destroy most combatants.
• Vulnerability of the Body-Glove -
  The armour may be formidable, but what lies beneath it is far more fragile. The Enviroweave body glove has its purposes against harsh environmental hazards but is extremely weak against direct attacks. Even with a protective Armourweave layer covering it, this undersuit is not invulnerable. A single tear or burn in the fabric can diminish its environmental protection, leaving her exposed to the elements. Worse still, Armourweave, while durable against blasters and some forms of energy damage, provides lesser resistance against lightsabers and can also fail under sustained kinetic impacts.
• EMP and Ion Susceptibility -
  Her armour's strength also defines its greatest flaw. For its extensive reliance on powered systems (shields, sensors, rocket mechanisms etc.) creates a dangerous vulnerability to ion weaponry and EMPs. A single well-placed ion grenade or EMP burst can temporarily disable these systems, reducing her to the sole protection of the Beskar alone. During its reboot duration, it could leave her dangerously exposed to foes...

DESCRIPTION​

Upon being recruited into the Mandalorian Empire, their tenets, their Resol'nare required her to don armour most, if not all, of the time. Armour she did not possess. So logically the first step was to approach the Naur'alor (Armourer) and forge a Beskar'gam. One intended to still provide her a certain mobility when seeking out the mysteries of the Galaxy, while also a protection for the dangers she may yet encounter. Naturally, its first version came out better equipped for individuals who have grown up in Mandalorian culture--familiar with the uses of the Beskar'gam and its many fancy features. Regrettably, Soliane did not bear that knowledge and its many different buttons and features may yet draw her at a disadvantage for now. But all can be remedied with time and practice. . .
