In fact, 2024 saw almost as many 'Invasion+' posts as the average of all previous full years
If the layman looks at this chart and thinks “but graph smaller in 24”, its because Q4 is the game changer.
There is no moratorium on Junctions.

more health complications
This makes it sound like those of us who were here in 2014/2015 are now like... 50.

Most of us aren't even 30 yet haha.
would you like a health complication
in a video game
Depends what we're counting as a health complication.
Are you going to like... sneeze near me? Or are you going to find me with a hammer?
Q3 2014 had one of the largest invasions take place (Empress Teta) as well as iirc 7 others, and Empress Teta lasted until Q4 and there was only 2 invasions during q4 that I can remember off the top of my head.
We've had members pass away between then and now, and idk if you know this but health complications don't happen because of age they happen because of circumstance. (also we did an age poll a few years ago and the largest cohort was in their late 20's at the time of the poll, and considering that entire cohort is in their 30's now it would stand to reason that you're not quite right on that.).This makes it sound like those of us who were here in 2014/2015 are now like... 50.

Jend-Ro Quill this is cool reading tho. I'm not clever enough to draw infrences etc from it but, it's cool.

This definitely rings a bell but I can't remember enough about it to find it easily - do you remember anything else about it?also we did an age poll a few years ago and the largest cohort was in their late 20's at the time of the poll, and considering that entire cohort is in their 30's
My current guess is it's an artifact of this all being by start date/quarter. Four invasions totalling almost 2000 posts (Teta, Alderaan x2, Naboo) kicked off at the tail end of Q3, Sept 21st or later, and were still going into mid-October. The big one, Teta, 840ish, was still chugging along by Halloween. I don't know if there were other factors, extended moratorium or whatever, leading up to the war only kicking off again in January with Manaan, but that's my best guess right now.I do agree 2014 Q4 is the biggest mystery

data loss was 2013 or very early 2014 (this I mostly know because it happened before I joined in sep 2014 and it was something everyone talked about almost every single day for months whenever something got recovered from google cache or whatever it was you guys were grabbing lost stuff from).so i guess i'm right about the data loss being in 2013, not 2014? I forget. All of my statements are from the gut and only working off the little bit of data that Jerec provided here and my own memory.
I'm bound to be off on some things bc of this, but so far I've been incredibly on point. I do agree 2014 Q4 is the biggest mystery unless Valiens and I guessed correctly it was the data loss month (when we lost like 3 months of data and multiple backups to an unchecked corrupt data loss of magnitude we've never seen since because L owner.)
I can search for it, I only vividly remember the pie chart because Valiens and Ket(sp?) were like the only people over like 40 or something really old (from my 20 year old POV)This definitely rings a bell but I can't remember enough about it to find it easily - do you remember anything else about it?
