Culture:
The population of Golgatha Prime is almost entirely comprised of contracted workers from neighboring planets. Government agents, contractors, and workers on long term and short term assignments that range from three months to twenty four months are the most common type of individual to find orbiting Golgatha Prime or exploring the upper reaches of its atmosphere. As such, the planet's population tends to show two sides of itself. The first side tends towards the professional tolerance and duty you would expect from the employees of any company, establishment, or government office. The other, more interesting side of Golgatha Prime's population takes place while the planet's one billion workers are off duty. Since the planet's rotational period is 146 standard hours to the day, orbiting facilities have adopted an artificially 30-hour day/night cycle that matches that of Sirat Wen Prime. Workers typically work one of two work patterns. The primary and most common pattern is to work 10 hours a day, every day for five days in a row, followed by a 6th day without work. The second type of work period typically seen is a 15 hour work shift for three days in a row, followed by two days off, and then another three days in a row.
Technology: Hyperspace Capable

History:
Golgatha Prime has long been host to a number of large, floating cities from which thousands of workers and entrepreneurs set about harvesting Tibanna Gas from the Beldon that native the planet. Throughout much of Golgatha's history, the turbulent hyperspace routes connecting the Sirat Wen system to the rest of the galaxy have restricted the sale of Golathan Tibanna Gas to neighboring star systems and local markets. It was not until roughly 500 ABY that this would change. As the newly Imperialistic Siratians took control of their neighboring planets and began organizing resources on a system-wide scale, the prospect of regular sales to the Sirat Wen Prime government prompted renewed interest in the local businessmen. By 600 ABY, every major local mining company had been nationalized by the Siratian government and the number of active cities and stations had more than doubled. To help support these efforts, the neighboring planets of Golgatha Alpha and Beta were colonized to establish longer-term facilities and shorten logistical chains. By 820 ABY, as many as one billion workers could be found on over a thousand cities, stations, and platforms that orbited the massive planet at various altitudes.

Culture:
Like the rest of the people who call the Sirat Wen system home, Golgathans are stanch imperial and take great pride in performing their duty for the good of the empire. The people of Golgatha Alpha adopted their new homeworld with a fierce determination and have created a number of local traditions around herding and hunting the native wildlife. Wild herds of Icetrompers and Jakobeasts are harvested yearly for food while wild Wampa and Hoth Hogs are hunted for sport. Domesticated Tauntaun are ridden in a yearly hunting ritual in which trained Maalraas are used to run down wild Hoth Hogs.

Technology: Hyperspace Capable

History:
A relatively recent addition to the Sirat Wen system, Golgatha Alpha was colonized in 585 ABY to help facilitate an increased demand for Tibanna Gas from Golgatha Prime. Initially serving as long-term storage and repair shops for transport ships and mining equipment, the domed cities of Golgatha Alpha eventually became the go-to location for ships, crews, and workers needing emergency repairs or medical attention. Around this utilitarian function, a culture of hard working and altruistic people were born. Over the past few hundred years, Golgatha Prime has evolved into a nation all its own.

The domed cities of Golgatha Alpha, born of necessity to protect against a hostile atmosphere and deadly temperature of the planet's surface, were viewed as comfortable living options for a number of the races that called the Sirat Wen system home. Of these, the Pantoran, Chiss, and Sullustan peoples have thrived the best under the harsh conditions of the planet.

Name: Golgatha Beta
Orbital Position: Second Moon of Golgatha, Sixth Planet of Sirat Wen System
Rotational Period: 21 hours
Orbital Period: 68 (30 hour) days
Class: Small Terrestrial World
Diameter: 7,468km
Atmosphere: Type 2 Atmosphere
Climate: Ice Age
Gravity: 0.8x Standard Gravity
Primary Terrain: Snow, Ice, Tundra
Moons: NA

Native Species: Crystal Worm,
Immigrated Species: Pantoran 44%, Chiss 32%, Sullustan 12%, Rattataki 8%, 4% other Sirat Wen races
Primary Languages: Galactic Standard Basic,
Government: Imperial
Population: 1.2 Billion
Demonym: Golgathan
Major Imports: Food, Water, Technology, Medical Supplies,
Major Exports: Nova Crystals, Lasing Crystals, Artesian Crystals, Adegan Crystals,
Affiliation: Imperial, Galactic Empire,

Major Locations: Four major Dome Cities and numerous underground complexes

Culture:
Populated predominately by miners, the people of Golgatha Beta are often viewed as the backwater cousins of Golgatha Alpha's population. The few citizens that do not make their living digging through mile after mile of ice in search for valuable Nova Crystals and Adegan Crystals instead make their living protecting the domed cities from wandering Crystal Worms or attempting raise domestic herds of Icetrompers, Jakobeasts, and Tauntaun as a local food source for the populace.
Technology: Hyperspace Capable

History:
Even younger than Golgatha Alpha, Golgatha Beta was colonized only 152 years ago when a number of rare and valuable crystals were discovered to exist within deep caves beneath the planet's harsh surface. As mining facilities evolved into permanent settlements, colonists from Golgatha Alpha took the opportunity to spread their fledgling culture to their neighboring planet. Though attempts at populating the planet with wild herds of animals from Golgatha Alpha have thus far been unsuccessful, domestic creatures from the neighboring planet are a common sight in and around the domed cities of Golgatha Beta.

Under Vespar - This comes out to 105%. Might want to alter those numbers a bit.

Under Tabanna 34 This comes to 101%.

Other than that, very nice sub. Just fix those two things and you are golden.

Magnificent work. One small thing. The Imperial research centre is listed as being 20kms in size.

We don't allow stations larger than 4kms. Can you please edit the size down and adjust the people there if needed?

Do that and I'll tag this approved.

I... wasn't aware that the spaceship and space station limitations from the factory carried over to the Codex. It had always been my understanding that static, civilian/non-combat locations (like a city built into an asteroid) were not restricted by size limitations.

I ask this because there are a number of canon Imperial facilities that I was planing to work into future submissions, as roleplayable static locations.

Space Stations are held to a different standard than your average location. We have to hold to the same standard as the factory does, so we don't end up with something super crazy on the codex side.

Just popping back in, since you forgot to @mention Valiens and he doesn't always see replies otherwise. I'm sure he can give a more detailed explanation.

@T'yr Dellos
You raise a good point. Normally we hold true to the same levels as the Factory simply because otherwise we could have absurdities as [member="Coryth Elaris"] mentions.

However, so long as the cities are unarmed I don’t suppose it really matters. This is really the first occasion anyone’s really brought it up.

So OK, with that in mind I’ll approve this with the understanding that the floating city has no defences.
