SPECIAL FEATURES
  • General Information:
    • MULTIFUNCTIONAL - The original algorithm for SERAPHIM is based on the Special Forces' need for a Tactical "Overwatch" when not always available to be self-deployed. This new model expands on this with fleet operations. More than just a "Threat Analysis" program, the system's main program can self upgrade and in many ways "learn" from previous operations to build on and offer analysis with up to the minute results. Capable of offering a range of abilities from weather, targeting, enemy tracking, and threat assessment as well as slicing encoded systems and doors (provided the right slicing equipment is enabled) allows more wide range of capabilities for the team to have less to focus on.
    • SERAPHIM is an AI that can be used in all areas of life, its most important tasks include:
      • Full, comprehensive monitoring, management, and control of Omega Squad as well as Silver Jedi Defense Force Fleet Operations(Specifically beginning with the Nirvana Fleet).
      • Full control and management of Omega Squad remotely capable vehicles, control over SCAR fighters when teams are deployed.
      • Observation/monitoring, control, and analysis of systems, cameras in a theater of operation when a slice is enabled.
      • Analysis and evaluation of military calculations, data, and strategies for all Silver Jedi Defense Force and Fleet (Specifically Nirvana Fleet and Omega Squad)
      • Analysis and evaluation of intelligence calculations, data, strategies potentially for Antarian Rangers, and Jedi Shadows.
      • Real-time, up-to-the-minute Medical surveillance of SJDF troops, sailors, and anyone it is authorized to watch over.
      • Full support technical support capabilities and suggestions for all of SJDF
      • Complete control over all necessary technical needs for SJDF Nirvana Fleet, and Omega Squad if necessary.
      • While he can control droids (those under his supervision), he can't move his core and data into these because there would be too much data.
      • His responsibilities include assisting the civilian population and the military, who regularly turn to him with their questions and problems.
    • Obliged to respond to everyone, depending on what kind of access rights the given person has to the requested data. SERAPHIM is available with both wireless and physical connections.
    • Not subservient, or "a Lapdog", will not allow actions taken that do not follow three primary rules: 1. Do not willingly or openly endanger innocent lives. 2: Do not willingly or openly Silver Jedi, or Silver Jedi Defense Force. 3. Do not go against established concord rules and laws.
    • Capable of assigning clearances. and authorizations.
    • Up to the minute updated database holding general information on all Silver Jedi citizens and visitors(no privacy intrusions, just matching them to B.O.L.O.s), detailed information on all Silver Jedi, Antarian Ranger, and Silver Jedi Defense force soldiers, airmen, and sailors currently serving regardless of the position.
    • SERAPHIM can access, manage, and host all databases and systems of the Silver Jedi Defense Command. Potentially, Seraphim is capable of becoming the entire system itself, running, installing, updating, and maintaining all databases and systems. Able to self-learn programs, and operating systems, Currently what it is and will do with Omega Squad.
    • Self-Aware and Self-learner, able to connect among others to HoloNet, KPLink, DarkNet, and the CryptNet 2.0, from where he can save and learn additional data and information.
    • Can communicate with potentially any network or system given time to operate.
    • Multiple code redundancies and systems enable protection against cyber attacks, the system will not allow itself to be sliced remotely
    • Time Management AI installed allows SERAPHIM to journal meetings, appointments, and deadlines (Mainly for [IMG alt="Aien Mueller"]https://www.starwarsrp.net/data/avatars/s/21/21440.jpg?1664164885[/IMG] Aien Mueller with A.A.R.s) anyone, also capable of acting as a personal assistant during off time, even managing civilian systems in the home. Anything that the system can connect to, SERAPHIM can operate. just ask.
    • If given authorization by SJDF High Command, Silver Jedi Council Members, or Admiral Angellus, SERAPHIM can expand protocols to remotely access and control any ships under the Silver Jedi or SJDF banner. This is not necessarily an expansive operation, SERAPHIM cannot operate multiple warships simultaneously and take attack a target (for example), or dogfight, but can fly a ship out of harm's way, or take control of a damaged vessel if the pilot has been incapacitated.
    • Potentially anywhere and everywhere, providing a watchful and protective eye.
  • Defenses:
STRENGTHS
  • FOR ONE: Everyone can count on SERAPHIM at any time, in anything. He is the perfect help in everything.
  • FOR ALL: Super intelligent and multifunctional AI, with great protection; he is perfectly able to perform a multitude of tasks should the need arise. There will always be a need for that "Sentient touch", but in the meantime, SERAPHIM Is always hard at work.
  • MULTIPLE REDUNDANT SYSTEMS AND FAILSAFES: Currently the facilities are small due to the need, but the possibilities can grow exponentially the sites that hold the backup and emergency systems for SERAPHIM hide in plain sight.
  • KNOWS WHAT IT NEEDS, NEEDS WHAT IT KNOWS: SERAPHIM only has monitoring capabilities over Silver networks, only at the government level are more detailed reaching capabilities extended. Database, nothing personal or invasive but file information is monitored in real-time and up to the minute. SERAPHIM can potentially monitor, protect, and control(when needed)- the military and defense systems. The AI is still limited and would still require authorization on multiple actions, but the possibilities to exponentially increase efficiency are too good to ignore. The success of Omega Squad with SERAPHIM working with them has encapsulated the option of expanding to Nirvana Fleet.
  • EYES EVERYWHERE: SERAPHIM has learned and gained the capability of using units in the field to montior battlefields and enhance tactical plans and ideas.
WEAKNESSES
  • NOT ALL ENCOMPASSING: SERAPHIM is a potentially powerful, influential, intelligent, and all-around AI, it has its share of limits that prevent it from unnecessary escalating its capabilities. First, the three (aforementioned laws)
  • Is POWER HUNGRY: You try multi-tasking on a potentially galactic scale and see if you don't come off as "hungry"? The power needs for Seraphim tend to roll on the "ridiculous" side and that is just for Omega Squad operations.
  • YOU'RE NOT A DROID! YOU'RE AN AI!: It's about an AI, meaning he'll never have a physical body. If someone attacks the core physically, most physical security systems can protect the core, but the system itself is defenseless and this is the surest way to destroy it. Note: While he can control droids, he can't move his core and data into these because there would be too much data.
DESCRIPTION
SERAPHIM was created with the need for Omega Squad to be able to get real-time information coming into the HUDS as well as tactical analysis and displays. Well "he" does more than that and then some. Designed for tactics and special operations, the techs soon learned of its potential capabilities. The initial plan was purely for one team, but the possible opportunities have spread further. In some cultures "The Seraphim" is considered "Angels", the highest choir of overseers. What a fitting title.

Seeing the success with Omega Squad and understanding the possibilities for expansion, High Command authorized the deployment into the SJDF 9th fleet or "Nirvana Fleet" commanded by Liram Angellus. The purpose is to ease communication and increase efficiency between carrier groups and ships as a whole. Not much in the way of capabilities has changed, just more of an expansion and more widespread usage.
