SPECIAL FEATURES

Blade Construction

  • Mono-molecular Edge: With a mono-molecular edge, the weapon has a higher chance of penetrating armor or natural carapace than a traditional Kot'hokaan. This also has the added benefit of functioning even without power unlike several of the other systems built into the axe. Additionally, it has higher potential to do damage to body tissue, bones, organs and the like than a traditional Kot'hokaan as well.

  • Collapsible Haft: The haft of the Kot'hokaan can collapse, reducing the overall length of the weapon.
Electronics

  • Repulsor Generator: The user can activate the repulsor generator with the push of a button to augment the force of their strikes, greatly increasing armor penetrating capability and damage potential.
  • Ultrasonic Vibration Generator: The ultrasonic vibration generator's output can be adjusted using a sliding switch on the handle. The lowest setting shuts the generator off.
  • Shockwave Generator: An impact activated shockwave generator in the axehead greatly augments the force of a strike with an intense sonic wave that could tear apart a target that was hit by the energy created from the device.
  • Miniaturized Shockwave Generator Rod Cluster: A cluster of miniaturized shockwave generator rods are built into the length of the weapon and are triggered by a lever-action style controls built into the haft.
  • HUD Link (optional): The axe can link to the user's HUD, putting the button controls at their disposal with all the convenience of a HUD. Status indicators also display over this link


STRENGTHS

  • Miniaturized Shockwave Generator Rod Cluster: The weapon's shockwave generator rod cluster give the wielder a ranged option capable of causing deadly damage to even foes with heavy exotic armor made from exotic armor materials such as
  • Armor Penetrating: The ultrasonic vibration generator, energy cell/projector and the mono-molecular edge enhance a Kot'hokaan's natural armor-penetrating qualities to an exponential level, even giving it the ability to potentially deal with exotic materials and advanced composites and alloys such as Beskar, Phrik and the like.
  • Lethal Wounds: The weapon's ultrasonic vibration, shockwave and repulsor generator greatly augment the deadly wounds that a Kot'hokaanis capable of causing. Even a graze is capable of causing grievous wounds.
  • Rylith Power Cell: The weapon makes use of a Rylith Power Cell, making for significantly increased battery life, as well as the capability to recharge the cell with exposure to sunlight.

WEAKNESSES

  • Finesse?!: One does not parry with the blade of this style of axe and neither could be accused of being remotely capable of being graceful or facilitating any sort of finesse.
  • Heavy: Missed swings and other mistakes are more difficult to recover from as compared to with other lighter weapons.
  • Beskar: The weapon is, at the end of the day, made from Beskar. Given the number of anti-Beskar measures in the galaxy, there's a relatively high chance of running into one of them.
  • Out of Power: If the power cell runs out of charge, then weapons more advanced functions will be disabled, notably decreasing its lethality.
  • EMP/Ion: Should the weapon's EMP/Ion defenses be overwhelmed by a powerful enough EMP/Ion weapon, the weapons more advanced functions would be rendered unusable, notably decreasing its lethality.

DESCRIPTION

Shuklaar developed a modified version of his old axe after signing the Farworlds Alliance charter, knowing that while it promised a new era of peace, it was always wise to prepare for war. Never one to ask his men to do what he would not, Shuklaar built the axe as a modified version he took to war earlier years earlier. The modified version adds on a miniaturized shockwave generator rod cluster and a shockwave generator rod that greatly augments the weapon's damage capabilities at both range and in close combat. Shuklaar personally visited the company's Kayri III facility for the voidstone to micronize and line the axe with. The newly modified weapon has not left his side.

Shuklaar never intended the axe to be a finesse weapon, and it most certainly cannot be used as one. Owing to its weight, missed swings and other mistakes are more difficult to recover from as compared to with other lighter weapons. The weapon is, at the end of the day, made from Beskar.
