Nestled within the jaw vice grips of several Galactic powers in the recent decades, Ringo Vinda had long been a pillar of Silver Jedi space before eventually drifting under Sith Imperial occupation in 857 ABY and later at the fringes of the Bryn'adul devastation, the past eight years had seen Ringo Vinda remain a sovereign world, recovering from the switching hands and devastation that the Sith-Silver Jedi wars and Bryn'adul crusade had reaped upon the local space, Ringo Vinda enters a period of prosperity under an elected, republican government- doing away with an ancient lottery system originally instilled to determine the planet's leadership.

Processing the salvaged space hulks of the Third Imperial Civil War and Bryn'adul Crusades, Ringo Vinda has become a budding hub of starship manufacturing from its orbital drydocks. Since 866 ABY, it has existed in benign neglect from the rest of the Galaxy's great powers as it recovered from the conflicts that ailed the world and nearby space in the past decade.

But recently, Ringa Vinda fell into the shadow of the Empire. The New Imperial Order's constant expansion to fuel the needs of its existential war machine and its autarkic economical system would not spare Ringo Vinda much longer. As a strategic middle point between the Silver Jedi Concord and Empire's holdings at the Parleman gap of the mid-rim, it soon turned into an area of strategic necessity following the fallout of the Kuat Crisis which saw the Empire lose manufacturing access to the Kuat Drive Yards.

Thus, an alternative asset needs to be secured.

Ringo Vinda was in the Empire's crosshairs.

Within the span of 18 hours, Imperial Army, ISB and Imperial Knight forces seized control of the Capital of Ringo Vinda- successfully ousting the republican government in control of the world only for the reigning chief-of-staff of Ringo Vinda's planetary defense force to declare open rebellion against the forceful rule of the Empire. As the Imperial Army seeks to impose martial law on the city, so too must active rebel cells be rooted out from the city's underworld. The task force assembles those able and willing for the task to seek out suspected rebels. However, it is known that a small enclave of Jedi exists on Ringo Vinda, one of the main forces behind the planet's governmental change and newfound prosperity play a major role in organizing the insurgency.

Kill or capture those who impede the Empire's will.

Filling the void now left by a compromised Kuat Drive Yards, the Imperial Navy along with Imperial Special Operations assets move to wipe out the meager Ringo Vinda planetary defense fleet defending the graving yard in orbit. Comandeering what were once the Sith Imperial vessels produced in the Ringo Vinda Naval Production Yards, they now Republican adversary operates outdated and familiar vessels to what has been seen in the Third Imperial Civil War and subsequent subjugation and dissolution of the several Sith Imperial Remnants to follow.

The breaching charge burst open the bronzed metallic entrance of the Ringo Vindan hovel, three Stormtroopers piled through the doorway baring orders and aiming blasters. Behind them, Thane followed, flicking through a datapad donning the blacked out ISB armor and uniform, indicative by the COMPNOR insignia planted displayed on the right shoulder and a distinctive 'ISB' scripted in basic and aurabesh on the back of the ballistic covering of the betaplast composite cuirass.

"On the ground! Now!" The Stormtrooper pointman barked out down the barrel of his particle beam carbine to a Pantoran man who lowered himself to his knees before a knee slammed his chest into the floor beneath and shackles were immediately clasped around his wrists behind his back.

"Yudas Greis, Grand Captain of metropolitan police force from 868 to 874...resigned only a week ago, far before your pension was due. And not a day before you left, hundreds of armaments were - 'poof' , gone from the capital armor. Do tell what might've been the cause of that?" Thane says as he shifts his slung blaster carbine behind his back and crouches down near the man's bruised face.

"I don't- I don't know! I'm a patsy! Someone's pinning shit on me I didn't do fuck all! I just want to mind my own business..." The man said, Thane motioning to the two unoccupied troopers to run a full search of the residence before he looked to Zoraya.

"Well do tell, Ayres...do you think our man is telling the truth?" He inquired, arching a brow in her direction as he thumbed to undo the clasp of the leather holster holding his sidearm at his hip.

As fortunate as one was to be with the current situation of the Galidraani army, and its arsenal, he could not entirely rely on his fellow Imperials for every single armament and with the changing of warfare and how it was waged. Tanks and grand battle plans were not always a secure way to victory, rather Willan wished to combine the best aspects of Galidraani military doctrine with the new ever-changing facet of technology. Even now it seemed that the masked man in the high tower would continue his war against the lords of the order. Willan felt like a man cornered with each passing day, both inside and outside Galidraan.

Greying and increasingly frail, Willan increasingly sought the assistance of a cane to walk, a stark reminder and legacy of the hell him and his people had went through. He wasn't young anymore, he was an older man, and it seemed like time was rushing by; fate had seemingly dealt him a hollow victory in his status of rebel leader turned elder strongman of Galidraan. Ironic that in disposing of the centuries-old monarchy, he'd, in turn, replaced them as the almost monarchic figurehead of Galidraan; their homes had become his, as empty as they were as had the fervour the people had once had for them. On every street corner, spaceport and road, you couldn't escape Willans face and those of the martyrs and heroes of the great revolt. The Lord Protectors presence was everywhere, even as age claimed his ability to appear everywhere as much he once did. He preferred to spend his days in the blue palace, reading and directing the rule of the land from the isolation of the former royal palace.


And what was worth the cost? Everything, in waging his war and displacing the old order, he'd forsaken family, peace and honour for it all. He was a lonely old man, whose wife had died two years prior, and his children all grown up and serving in the army or government. Only his eldest daughter still visited him these days, be it to reminisce about the old days or to brief him on matters of state. If it meant losing that which was close to him for the sake of Galidraans future, then he would continue to hold that mantle however painful it was.


Tal was waiting for them in the gardens of the palace, seated on a chair overlooking a beautiful garden that stretched as far as the eye could see. He rested his free hand on his cane while he stirred a pot of tea with his other hand, he had a lot to discuss with his generals and daughter. Something dire to all of them and existential.

Another shipyard.

All in service to the Empire.

As the Fleet engaged the remnant Sith vessels orbiting the planet, Atticus led SCAR Squadron past the titan-like vessels and into the Yards. The small cadre of operatives on board the shuttle were destined to meet the resistance that was left on board the station.

While their job was ultimately to wipe out the Republican forces on the station, SCAR's reason for being there was to take control of the defense batteries and turn them on the defense fleet in orbit. Fewer casualties here meant more lives saved for future campaigns in their goal to unite the galaxy under the Iron Sun.

There was pragmatism in this.

Before he knew it, the assault shuttle was skidding across the ground of one of the Drives' Hangars. Scoring furrows and gashes of metal through the dense plates before finally coming to a stop. The ramp slid down, and the silver blade of the Knight's lightsaber ignited. Leaping out, he drew attention to himself as he led the fire away from the shuttle. Giving way for the rest of SCAR Squadron to deploy.

Some bolts found purchase, but the energy dispersing plates of the Tenebrae allowed him to ignore it. Weaving a barrier of plasmatic energy in front of him that on occasion shot the plasma fury back to its source.

 

[Aerys Yvarro]

Aerys' disdain for Bastion was always kept quiet, bound to the world by her heritage. Bound by the fact that her very existence began here and she supposed that someday it would end there. The cigarette hung loosely on her lips as she tucked her helmet underneath her arm. Hair pulled back tightly, held up neatly per Imperial Army regulations. Pictures of the past lingered in her mind for she saw what the Sith Empire had created here, where her mothers ruled together side by side the perfect image of Sith-Imperial marriages. She was proof of their union, the trophy of an Imperial who laid claim to her Sith. Yet, she was unworthy of her Sith mother's attention she was not gifted in the Force, not like her sister.​

Perhaps the disdain had less to do with the banners that hung over Bastion, less to do with those who ruled it, and more to do with the fact that her very existence was an unworthy measure to a parent absent. Aerys grew up in the shadows of empires, with strong blood but no gifts to show. Then again, gifts were scarcely, if ever given freely. Aerys would not pay the price to be someone's pawn on the galactic chessboard, not, in the same manner, an acolyte bows to their master.​

She took a drag from the cigarette and pulled it away from her mouth. Clutched the end with her black-gloved fingers where the white plastoid formed over the knuckles. In the shadow of yet another empire, where undoubtedly her strong blood would be spilled to defend it. She chewed on the inside of her lip as the toxic chemicals from the cigarettes burned against the back of her throat, pooled in her lungs, and exhaled as a soft stream of smoke from her nostrils.​

Nostrils that were now tinged with pink and the tip of her nose red, from the bitter Bastion weather. She wondered who was more frigid, the planet or her parents, both used the other and when they were done - they were done. They were excellent at manipulation and Aerys? She shrugged at the thought as she looked upward and took note of the architecture that lacked any true meaning. Except to say that the Imperials had torn away from their Sith masters, only to become the very cruel and tyrannical stains on the galaxy as their old masters had been. Aerys looked at the cigarette as a small waft of smoke rose from the ember end.​

She flicked it toward the ground and watched as the embers continued to smolder. Then Aerys crushed it, and every single spark that dared to exist from it, mixing it into the cold duracrete beneath her boots. Aerys said nothing as she watched the embers disappear into the ground, crushed to death like rebellions that dared to rise that dared to speak their truths. Crushed like those who dared to resist the rule of those despots that called themselves moffs and governors within the New Imperial Order.​

Her eyes lingered on the now crushed cigarette for a moment or so longer. Straightening herself up, squaring her shoulders, Aerys secured her helmet with the knowledge that she had to be just as cold as her parents, and just as cruel in order to survive.​

 

[Khefiir]

CAPITAL


Though Khefiir had only worked with Aegus Amendor for a couple of weeks, the Jedi Master's stern calm lent strength to their mind-to-minds. Jedi telepathy: not conducive to verbal detail, but vastly more secure than any comlink.

So, as Khefiir stalked the streets in plainclothes half a mile from Amendor and the Jedi covert, the two of them had a calm, secure, nonverbal argument.

Master Amendor wanted to stand and fight, use his long experience to support long-term guerrilla work. Khefiir was of the opinion — a minority opinion — that Amendor's informal Jedi group would only succeed in escalating a harsher Imperial crackdown. They didn't have the delicacy for this. They, like Khefiir, were mostly Jedi Guardians: blunt instruments.

Ironically, under a more subtle Master's guidance, the Jedi crew might have been better equipped to play that long game. Khefiir knew damn well that Amendor was positioning for a long insurgency because there were no other options, not because Amendor had any aptitude for it. No, Amendor's first and last instinct was to stand and fight, no matter what plan he was talking about.

Hence Khefiir walking around in plainclothes. This whole situation was bound to escalate sooner rather than later. If Amendor or any of his people survived, they'd need evacuation. Khefiir had a quick little shuttle stashed away in a nearby industrial park. He fully expected to need that shuttle today.

As the Imperials landed and started to impose their tyranny on Ringo Vinda, they were joined by another figure. He rode in on a rumbling, Kybuck-class swoop, seem to slowly scout out around the villages. He was a large man, easily towering over any of the near-humans of this new iteration of Palpatine's Empire. He was Skaarn, a Dowutin mercenary who had answered a call.

He slowed down as he scanned the area, pulling a tracking fob bearing the shifting images of two rebels COMPNOR sought. A insurgent Jedi Master, and a rebellious military officer. Skaarn soon replaced the fob with a set of binocs to aid his search. The Empire was offering a bantha-load of credits for either prize. And Skaarn was one to give a damn of the credits were Imperial, Pyke, Hutt, or Sith. A payday was a payday.

The dark armored mercenary was on the lookout as well. The contract COMPNOR offered out seemed rather open ended. He knew fairly well that he had competition, and that they were just as likely to sabotage him as he would them. As an old man once said: Bounty hunting is a complicated profession.

War meant business, not just for governments and corporations that had stakes in the war economy. No, even those of villainy and scum had a taste of its profits. Smugglers, mercenaries, and crime lords. All with loyalties to the credit and to themselves, nothing more or less than that.

Although there was a caliber of scum with more honor and dignity than their peers.

Bounty hunters. Loyal to the credit, but also to the ethics of their profession. Different to mercenaries as they cared little about their reputation and the status of their target. A bounty hunter was more sophisticated than just having a happy trigger finger.

The Aurodium Sword had a new target for their esteemed contractors, the Kyuzo knew what he wanted. Jedi. Bigger fish, bigger pay.

Yellow eyes glowed with a war helmet that made him stand out from the crowd along with a bowcaster strung around his shoulders. An open target for rebels, but that was the main purpose. Lure them out and cull them. They would ultimately lead him and his partner to the Jedi.

 

[Khefiir]

CAPITAL
Engaging: Amun and probably Koda Fett and maybe Sraak Akdesh at some point though I think he's in the outskirts? No clue, let's tango.


Truth be told, Khefiir didn't recognize the city's new influx of bounty hunters. Stormtroopers had the bulk of his interest — stormtroopers and Jedi drama. So his first inkling of this particular wrinkle came about when Jedi Master Aegus Amendor HIMSELF fired up a lightsaber and attacked.

The foot traffic scattered, leaving Amendor alone with a bounty hunter or two. Khefiir hissed under his breath and shoved against the current, the tide of running civilians. Still in plainclothes, he was just another Trandoshan. He could use that anonymity in the short term, use it to close the gap. Soon enough, though, the hunters would realize a big Trando was coming their way.

Ever since his meeting with the Emperor, Melvain's emotions had been in flux. He'd been irritable, confused, forgetful. But here, on Ringo Vinda where the Empire had reached out its hand and offered protection, service, and prosperity some had struck out, singing the hand that offered them salvation. Now Melvain walked beneath a trio of walkers, their spotlights trained on the group of Rebels he and his group of Stormtroopers had found. They knelt in a light dusting of snow, shivering and hands above their heads as his stormtroopers trained blasters on them. Once, he had seen the Jedi as cousins. They both served to destroy the darkness and chaos in this world, their actions guided by the Force, but now? He cursed them. Their idealism, their supposed moral highchair that they sat upon for thousands of years of 'service' to the Galaxy blinded them to the possibilities of Order. It didn't make them weak, only fools and Sith believed that. But it did make them dangerous.

"You poor fools," Melvain said, his arms crossed behind his back, "Have been duped by the Jedi. The Jedi Master Amendor, and likely other Jedi Knights or his Padawan, has promised you peace and freedom and you fight for your lives and those of your countrymen." He paused and sighed, his breath coming out in a stream of frosted breath, "Yet these are the same things the Empire has offered you, yet you strike at us. Why?" One of the rebels spat at his boot, the glob of flem splattering across the white betaplast and into the snow. On instinct one of the Stormtroopers raised the butt of his rifle to strike but Melvain raised a hand. The Force was never meant to be used as a weapon against the Emperor, the Empire, or its people...But these rebels had long since forfeited any such right.

Melvain kneeled in front of the man who had spat. Whimpers and people shushing the man resounded through the group. In a firm grip, Melvain gripped the man's jaw and peered into his grey-green eyes. Melvain's own narrowed, taking him in. He was old, older even than his father would have been.

"We know your ilk, that's why." The old man said, his voice coming strong and with a resolve, Melvain honestly wasn't expecting. "You kill and beat until you get what you want. You work your people to death to fuel your Force-forsaken 'Empire', everyone else be damned." Anger flashed in Melvain's eyes and the old man caught it. "See? You're angry now, aren't ya boy? Go on then. Take that lightsaber of yours and cut my throat. Or use the Force and choke the light out of me. They say you serve the Light, but you're no better than the Sith Lords of Vornskr's Empire!" Well, that confirmed it. The old man WAS Old. Darth Vornskr was the first Sith name of the man who would become the emperor of the longest Sith Dynasty since, well, to be honest, history wasn't his best subject, but it was a long time. Darth Carnifex. The old man spat again, but this time it splattered against a wall of air and slid harmlessly into the slush. Melvain stood and unclipped his lightsaber, eyeing the hilt. It was standard issue, save for his crystal.

Snap-hiss

"The Jedi get their crystals from crystal caves," He began, "Just as many of our order do. Technology's come a long way though and just as many of my Order use synthetic crystals." The blade hummed ominously, casting its pure, white light on the Rebels, the blade zooming dangerously close to the old man's head. There was a silence for a while as Melvain stalked the rebels, twirling his blade every so often. "Do you know where a white blade comes from?" The question was directed at the old man again. Melvain's boots squelched as he knelt, putting the white-hot blade between the old man's face and his own.

"T-the caves?" Melvain shrugged but gave the man a nod. "Technically. It is rare, but it does happen. It's why so many of us use synthetics. A white blade," he started "Is what happens when a Jedi, or a Knight like myself, takes the bled crystal of a Sith," he didn't have time or the want to go into what bleeding was. He didn't think the Rebels would appreciate it either, for as long as he'd kept them in the cold. "And we purify them. Rehabilitate and cleanse them of the darkness and pain and enslavement that the Sith had impressed upon that crystal." He stood. "And just like the Kyber of a Sith is flooded with the impurities of chaos, anguish, and sorrow, so are the territories in and surrounding the old Sith Empire and Bryn'adul space. So we come to you, offering to heal you of your wounds, give you a second chance at life, purify you, and instead, you believe the Jedi path is the only path. But what they have done instead is lead you into more suffering, more anguish, more...Chaos."

"My emperor does not want you, future citizens of his Empire. What he wants are the Jedi who sowed the seeds of this Chaos. You will tell me." The old man levitated from the ground to the shocked and surprised shouts of the other Rebels. He gurgled, struggling. "Or I will pluck the information from your mind. And while we who purify the wrongness of the Sith could never BE Sith, we will not shy away from the gifts the Jedi so frequently squander. I won't enjoy it, but I will do what I must for the many, for the Empire. To give those who are willing a chance to become part of something greater." Melvain knew that bounty hunters were already working on tracking the Jedi, but like he had said earlier, there could be more. More than likely the base was also filled with evidence that would tie these Rebels to the Galactic Alliance as well, so even if the Master was killed they would need more than just his death. And Melvain would find it.

The old man's screams were drowned out by a flight of TIEs overhead.

 

[Siv Dragr]

B O U N T Y
T H E M E

Siv Dragr worked best alone.

When the Ringo Vinda job had made the rounds on the Karjr Board, it had got a lot of attention. The Imperials were paying good credit for the capture of rebels in their territory. It helped that the Mandalorians and Imperials were on friendly terms. It didn't help that Mandalorians were trying to stay in the good graces of the Galactic Alliance as well. The bounty had been officially scrubbed of any Enclave endorsement, but that wasn't about to stop Siv. To him, work was work. And with the galaxy seeming crazier every day, sometimes he needed a plain hunt to clear his head.

It turned out that a war-torn industrial world wasn't exactly hard to sneak into. Between the destroyed planetary infrastructure and Imperials caring more about rebel cells than traffic control, a few classic maneuvers had gotten Siv past the customary blockade and onto the planet itself. He'd learned after years of similar routines that blockades were on the lookout for warships, and a small freighter was hardly a concern.

The Mandalorian stalked the alleyways of the wrecked capital city, making sure to stay clear of the warpath that the Imperials were leaving. Ash floated through the air, and every now and then would catch the light of the fires burning through the city. If there were any civilians, they were huddled inside. Showing one's face was paramount to a death sentence. The lucky ones would merely end caught in the crossfire; many would likely be deemed rebel terrorists and summarily executed. It was sterile and morbid, but it wasn't Siv's fight. He'd seen enough warzones to be desensitized to it all. This world would burn like so many others, and there wasn't anything one lone bounty hunter could do about it. The best course of action? Keep his head down, and get paid.

The target had been identified as a Jedi Master, which wouldn't have been the first time Siv would be hunting after one of their order. The last time, he'd used their compassion against them to capture a Silver Jedi Grandmaster, but he had a feeling from the bounty description that this would be a much different mission. And a larger problem: the bounty said that the last known location was at the Jedi Enclave in the capital city. But Siv had no idea where said Jedi Enclave could be found.

Maybe stalking the Imperials would be the best course of action after all.

[Koda Fett]

THE CAPITAL

Contracts for both one task and several had come, the sudden return from the Hutt territories had not been a subtle one. The Jedi, the Sith, and all those that came in between had the Mandalorian on payroll, and their nations also. Fett had a short-lived career once it came to these lot, even if soon to be rectified. Better than the Maw once it came to a source of income, he mused.

His old connections resurfaced in that of the Kyuzo, Amun; one worth the caution, if not on the same side - the bowcaster struck similar to that of a cannon, more so than a blaster. If not for the armour, Fett worried for the state of his frame.

"You have a friend inbound," the Bounty Hunter announced over the comms to his fellow, the man himself atop a structure in a bid to send forth a hail of crimson bolts on the foes below. Jedi, Fett sneered, and more than the master. But for now, the rebels that returned their bolts had taken his attention, the carbine held as if a sidearm and fired into them as their own munitions soared around him.

"Handle him. These rebels are mine."

The key to being successful in the world of business was to be versatile. While Gat Tambor had long mastered the production side of his corporate Empire long before the foundation of the Trade Federation, the world of business- staying in the black, competition, cost, monopolies...these things all took time to master. The New Imperial Order was well and truly Gat's biggest investment, with the state itself powered by the Trade Federation Credit and large deal of its military and commercial goods made directly or by a subsidiary of the Trade Federation. It was quite a beneficial arrangement, but also, a dangerous one.

The loss of direct access of the Kuat Driveyards in order to produce the Kuat Entralla Engineering vessels which saw widespread deployment within both the Third Imperial Civil War and the Second Hyperspace War was certainly a hit to the margins. But good businessmen adapt and that was precisely the aim of the subjugation of Ringo Vinda. Sure, the Empire wanted to rid of an Imperial hot bed on its borders but all the same, the Dockyard was too valuable an asset to leave hanging in open space between the Iron Sun and the Silver Jedi Concord.

But while he offset the losses at Kuat, new ground had to be made in the Galactic Alliance. And while there wasn't...really any public outcry against Tambor or his involvement in the crisis among Galactic Alliance media sources, Trade Federation's operations in the Core needed a new face.

Aboard the TFV Pillar of Annihilation, Tambor's chosen flagship Lucrehulk and mobile headquarters, he hosted the visit of the Atrisian Corporate Overlord in a lounge with view panels overlooking the world in Tambor's sights as Trade Federation technicians and engineers waited aboard until the Shipyards were secure to establish the infrastructure necessary to begin production of Kuat Entralla vessels.

<"ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRWWWEEEEEEE- Miss Hayata. A pleasure as always, how is business?"> He asked.

<"While this is a proper recovery for Kuat Entralla's loss of the Kuat Driveyards...still, we need to set bigger sights for the Core's market. Especially with the times to come."> He remarks.

“Remain calm.”

A black alloyed droid strode down the streets of the Ringo Vinda capital, a blaster carbine held in its long, skeleton arms. The Imperial droids beady white photoreceptors scanned back and forth as the locals returned to their dwellings.

“Order will be restored shortly.”

The uprising on the surface of the manufacturing mecca has brought down the heavy hand of the NIO, intent of bringing the civil unrest under control. Imperial forces from all branches were spread out through the capital city and overhead skydocks, hunting down those that sought to defy the will of the Emperor.

Hundreds of Enforcer Droids were marching the streets of the capital, policing the curfew put in place to limit the movements of the Rebels. The towering droids were a fearful sight, a relentless force on the battlefield, fighting long after the soft sentients bodies of Stormtroopers and Imperial Knights had grown tired.

It was also the ideal cover for a Rebel operative.

“Approaching your position,” CH3 announced over its internal comlink as it closed with the Rebel safehouse. Destroyed on Kuat, the droid had uploaded the majority of its programming to the Rebel shadownet to be reborn in a new chassis. The missing segments from the interrupted download had been patched by Rebel slicers, and to date, had caused no noticeable degradation in performance.

The last local in the street retreated into their home and sealed the door, fearful of the wraith the NIO was bringing down on their planet. “Coast in clear,” CH3 explained.

“Mission is a go.”

"Business is good Tambor, especially at the home front and in the core," Aiko briskly responded, holding her coat together tightly as she joined Tambor aboard his flagship while accompanied by an aide and one of her many bodyguards. The kuat loss as bad as it was was not the end for Tambor and the rest of the federation's plans, instead, it was just a setback. Now with Hayatas ascension to power as senator of Atrisia, a powerful world in the core, the federation were set to bounce back on the profit loss and further push their plans for the galaxy.

"I do hope you have everything ready for this world?" she asked inquisitively as she sat herself down on the lounge chair, helping herself to the wine imported from the core on offer.​

They say there's no rest for the wicked.

From the Kuat Drive Yards straight to the Ringo Vinda Shipyards in the span of a few days. The well-oiled warmachine of the Empire chugged on relentlessly. No other unit in the galaxy, Hal believed, could do what the 501st were capable of. War was all they knew. To sweat and bleed for the Empire and a New Galactic Order of peace.

The dropship rattled wildly until it skidded to a violent halt within one of the shipyards' docking bays. A loud hiss resounded through the dropship before an emergency bang blew the ramp of their ship out and threw SCAR Squadron into a hail of blaster fire. Following the argent blade of Draco, the SCAR troopers would emerge into a wide arc covering the bay with their scopes of fire.

"You wanna clear a way through, Mauler??" with the Knight providing them sufficient cover, they needed someone to breakthrough the enemy lines. The sooner they reached the batteries' fire controls, the less Imperial lives would be wasted in the naval scuffle overhead.​

All too easy.

The Jedi unveiled themselves all of a sudden, igniting their lightsabers out in the open. Very unorthodox for them to attack out in the open, almost as if they were wanting to be caught. Heroism was it? Wanting to die as a martyr? Or maybe desperate with the walls closing in on them, making their last stand? There was room to be skeptical about this sudden turn of events, but now the hunt was on.

"You have a friend inbound,"

It caught his attention of the massive figure walking towards Amun, going against the tide of traffic. Had there been a hostile behind him, the communication between him and Fett would’ve had different dialogue. The Trandoshan could indeed have been a rebel, though Amun needed to verify that. Relentless he was in the hunt, but ethics still needed to be honored.

The bowcaster was held in two hands, its weight didn’t impede him due to his muscles no matter his ectomorphic body.

”Halt.” The word did not belong to Galactic Standard, it belonged to his native tongue. He doubted the Trandoshan would understand, but with a bowcaster aimed at someone it would make them rethink their choices and step aside.

Orders from COMPNOR for the two androids to execute. A mission that no organic soldier could accomplish with deadly efficiency while suffering little to no injuries. Pain and death were of no concern to objects like him and his “cousin”. The mission would be completed, no matter the cost; even if he had to crawl on one hand.

Intelligence discovered a farming town training with weapons and conducting other exercises as if they were militiamen. The Empire could act with an olive branch extended to reach a diplomatic accord, but these were rough times that required drastic, extreme measures. A small, silent mission that was not brought up to the attention of the Emperor, and was approved and orchestrated by the Director of Progress.

The two androids drove in a landspeeder, appearing rural as well as their attire. Disguised as friendly farmers with the cargo space of the landspeeder packed with deadly munitions.

“No survivors, except adolescents. Easy and simple.” With a cold, emotionless look as Carter drove the landspeeder closer and closer to the town.

Khefiir put up his empty hands and stopped walking. A bowcaster would do that.

A decent amount of firepower hid under Khefiir's coat: his electric blaster and his lightsaber. The big Kyuzo had him dead to rights. Strong people, the Kyuzo, and fast as well. Khefiir didn't like his odds if he tried to draw.

Considering how quickly the situation had escalated, though, he was running low on alternatives.

He took half a step back — "Easzy, friend" — and tried to use the Force to yank that bowcaster sideways.

RVLUIP Backroom Meeting

Rinoi watched the backroom meeting silently. A portion of leaders in the Ringo Vindan Labor Union of Industrial Production planned their next steps carefully. The compromised Kuat Drive Yards had brought them a big headache, gigantic, in the form of the New Imperial Order. They knew to tread carefully. If not for future aid of the rebellion, then for their own survival. Rinoi felt their fear and apprehension in plotting a course of action. He wished he could help them more than he already had, but that was impossible. A Jedi's counsel only went so far, and he was still new to the ways of rebellion.

The comlink on his hip went off. A signal from the Jedi enclave. The Imperial Order had made its move to snuff out the spark of rebellion ignited by the Ringo Vindan Planetary Defense Force. It was time to go. Rinoi searched the room for the other rebels that gave counsel. Among them was Tosk, an Ugnaught soldier and pilot of the rebellion. Rinoi didn't know much about him except that he flew a U-Wing. Just what was needed. But first some parting words.

"Listen people. The NIO is on its way. They're gonna' be looking to crush all rebellion they can find. This backroom meeting is probably one of the last to be found, but one of the first that's going to be suspected. Get home. Get off the street. Keep your families and friends safe. Rebellion is a long game. You'll have time to decide your next course of action, but that time just ain't today. Go. The alliance is gonna' need you. May the force be with you." Rinoi said firmly. He wanted the best for the people of Ringo Vinda so he would give them his best. With that thought in mind he made tracks for Tosk.

"Tosk, I need to get to the Jedi enclave. Take me and a few of the local rebels there. We need to back up Aegus Amendor. I'll owe ya' one."
