BIOGRAPHY:
Khefiir was born in 830 ABY. As a young child, he was identified as Force-sensitive and sold to the Jedi Order not long after its reorganization in the modern age. He spent his childhood years in the main Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and then in remote enclaves and bolt-holes as the One Sith conquered the Core. When the Netherworld Crisis came around, Khefiir was a serious, lonely, hard-edged boy on the edge of Trandoshan adulthood. He saw his first field action while helping to heal and rebuild from the crisis on Trandosha, his own homeworld - the first time he'd been back in the better part of a decade. He began making quiet efforts to reconnect with his heritage; for the last twenty years, depending on where he's lived, he's kept a small private shrine to the Scorekeeper in his own way.
Khefiir made Jedi Knight at twenty-four, in 854 ABY, at the height of the Great Galactic War. His species' gift for regeneration had saved his life many times by the time the Galactic Alliance fell.
Since then he's been a non-denominational sort of Jedi, adrift and learning independence, while pitching in along various combat fronts. He has largely kept apart from the Silver Jedi Order; early on, this was due to their obvious favoritism within the Kashyyyk system (which contains both Trandosha and its ancestral enemy), but later it was because of their lack of action or institutional will against the Sith.
As of 864 ABY, he was a member of the Galactic Alliance's New Jedi Order. His primary base of operations was the Saber, the Green Jedi enclave in Coronet City, under the aegis of Master Morteg.
As of 900 ABY, while venerable for a Trandoshan, he remained in good health. He had taught younglings the lightsaber in Coronet City for almost forty years. He had never become a Jedi Master, (accurately) seeing his Force development as insufficient for that rank, and having refused the title at least twice. He never allowed the younglings to call him Master Khefiir.
