Sun Yun Charr said:
"Stop!" Sun shouted, still firing of warning shots." Don't do this! You can change, help us rescue Evania Charr and you won't be killed in vain!"
Between heavy breaths, Thrukk let out a low chuckle. Even though Nyx had sped off, and he’d been forced to jog after her, he still had enough air in his lungs for a brief laugh at that. When walking into a clear trap – after all who would steal the daughter of a Dark Jedi who executed slavers for jollies – the time for flapping one’s mouth off and trying to appeal to your enemies was passed.
Now Thruk was over eight feet and four hundred kilos of houk muscle. Forged in the fighting pits of Rattaka and with a long and bloody career behind him. He’d spent his life fighting the most exotic predators in the Galaxy for entertainment, and then tracking some of the worst criminals. In short, it took a great deal to perturb to veteran mercenary.
However, a skeleton garbed in the fabric of shadows, swinging a flaming scythe…that was just about enough. “Och whit th' buck hae Ah gotten intae thes time?” he muttered to himself as he took aim. Perhaps he'd meet a god of thunder next, or an iron man! Familiar with a firefight, he’d learned long ago it was best to stay out of the line of sight during the first exchanges. People had a habit of firing their first shots at the biggest target around. This time it hadn’t exactly been deliberate, [member="Nyx"] had run off without a word.
He took aim at the one firing warning shots. Thrukk didn’t believe in warning shots. He believed in stun shots, and deploying enough firepower to end any further disagreements. Lining up a shot from his
cannon, he gently squeezed the trigger. There was a massive
crack as the cannon fired the shell, and the butt of the cannon forced itself hard into his shoulder, with enough force to knock a grown man clean off his feet. The crack was shortly followed by the sound of a thousand angry bees as the shell detonated in the air, thirty metres from [member="Sun Yun Charr"]. The shell erupted in a cloud of flechette which carried on cutting a path through the air in a cone that would be several metres across when it reached the target.
